Good episode. - DirectorEric WallaceStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerBarry feels guilty for what happened to Caitlin; Mark comes up with a plan that makes everyone skeptical; Red Death looms in Central City and commands that failure is not an option; old friends pay an unexpected visit to S.T.A.R. Feels like a season 7 episode. - DirectorBrenton SpencerStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerBarry recruits an unlikely team of allies to steal a valuable piece of equipment before the new Rogues can.5.75/10
I don't know how they manage to pick the absolute lamest villains from recent memory to join the team. Like come on read the room. Nobody likes any of these characters except for maybe Hartley because of the earlier seasons. The first 10 minutes had some good directing, i loved the handheld shots, but then the rest of the episode was just pretty boring if I'm being honest. Some of the acting in the second half was so utterly cringeworthy, especially the reveal scene at the end of the episode. - DirectorMenhaj HudaStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerThe Flash is forced to make an impossible choice; with the power out in the city, Team Flash calls upon the Rogue Squad to help; Iris is visited by an old friend; Joe and Cecile work on finding a balance.6.5/10
Watchable. Another fake-out. I thought because it was the final season that maybe they could actually do a change that big (going to red death's timeline), kinda like with arrow season 8 being a multiverse thing, but of course they don't do it last second. Both teams of rogues are actually just so "lame" like I don't think anybody actually likes them. Allegra-Chester who cares. Khione who cares (cringe line at the end). Best acting of the episode was hands down Javicia. She seems to be the only one actually trying. I guess Chillblaine actor was alright as well but not really much to work with. I also absolutely hate how Eric Wallace doesn't do violence. Red Death torturing Iris and Barry with just lightning is so stupid. Gone are the days of season 2 when Barry was absolutely destroyed by zoom; probably one of the coolest moments in the show. There are just no stakes nowadays and the budget has become so small that they really cannot do anything. I 100% blame Eric Wallace for the downfall of the show. - DirectorRachel TalalayStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerRed Death unleashes her plan for total justice, with the aid of as-yet unseen ally.5.75/10
Just really cringe and also made no sense. Forgot to even write this last week so doing it after episode 6. - DirectorChad LoweStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerBarry and Iris prepare for their new life; Cecile takes on a case involving a string of unfortunate and highly unexpected events; Chester and the team work with Khione to figure out her abilities.6.75/10
I mean it was ok. The Becky stuff at the end actually made no sense. Why not just just steal the money at that point. It was kind of an interesting weekly villain plot and also nice to see an old character back but there was literally no reason for it. Every story was just pretty mid in general. Next week's promo doesn't look too interesting either. I don't understand why there has to be interlude episodes in a 13 episode season. In the old 22/23 seasons of the flash I felt like there was basically no filler; every episode contributed at least somewhat to the story and there wouldn't just be whole entire episodes without Barry. I think a major problem this show has is that the characters are actually just so lame. That's why I was so upset last season when they "killed" off Eobard and just got rid of Meena; I thought that they would be great additions to the main cast because they were such cool characters, but nah just gotta keep these shitters week on week because why not. - DirectorJesse WarnStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerIris and Nia fall into a fever dream and explore different possibilities for their lives; Barry, Chester, Allegra and Cecile desperately try to help them; Khione feels that Mark is trying to make her something she is not.3.5/10
Bruh. Some actual unwatchable scenes in this one. Seems they forgot that this season is only 13 episodes since they're actually doing the stupid fucking interlude episodes. Holy shit I actually don't care. I remember when I used to actually get excited for this show but now it's like I dread every episode coming out because I know it will be shit. Eric Wallace what a dickhead. Who cares about Khione. Who cares about "Ice-Pack". I don't really care about Iris anxiety storyline either. 6 episodes left after this one and I guarantee that it will somehow be rushed. For arrow's final season they made it just good stuff, I even enjoyed the Mia shit, but for this show it's like they're just doing a normal season. And don't actually come at me with "They planned up until season 10 so now they have to fit 2 seasons in one". Change the plan then. Why stick with it and pack 2 seasons into one and then still have random filler in the middle. I don't know how you can actually make a season this bad. Season 7 was better than this unironically. This is the worst season by far. Ok I don't understand why any of this happened then. I don't get why we're still developing characters from a show that got cancelled 2 years ago and who we will never see again since the arrowverse is dead. It doesn't matter how many wide angle shots you have it doesn't make the episode good. When supergirl was ending I was saying how a Nia Brainy spinoff would be awesome, and if I didn't know the arrowverse was ending I would think this leads into something like that but of course not. I don't think the writers actually understand what a Pulitzer is or why it's given. This episode feels like it's 4 hours long. Yeah after however many seasons now is the time where they go "get rid of chillblaine fully". They're gonna make the finale have some stupid shit with Khione sacrifice I bet. Also what a bitch for freezing all this food that Cecille put probably hours into making. And then it just ends. Amazing. And next week's episode looks shit too. They must just have Iris actress on a mega-insane contract since she is now suddenly getting 30 minutes of screentime an episode from last season where she was barely in it. - DirectorEd FraimanStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerA seemingly simple mold inspection at S.T.A.R. Labs leads to unexpected time anomalies; Chester admits a secret to Allegra, which makes things awkward between the two; Khione meets with an old friend of Team Flash.4.5/10
This trio of cecille allegra chester might actually be the worst squad in cw history. Fuck knows how they manage to make time travel so lame nowadays. Back in season 1-3 time travel was beast. Both plots borderline unwatchable to be honest. This B plot might be up there with the B plot from 8x04 as one of the worst plots of all time. Good performance from Grant. One good scene between Barry and Iris. Pretty obvious twist from the start. The science mumbo jumbo also used to be way better. Greatest "The Flash" villain. Literally another filler episode are we serious with this. They know they don't have the budget to do actual weekly villain episodes like in season 1 so they have to do this random shit. There were like 2 good scenes in this whole episode. Who even cares about Cheggra. Allegra and Chester actors are actually good but you can't really do anything with this terrible writing that they're given. Eric Wallace really hates the fans. - 2014–2023TV-PG8.5 (2.1K)TV EpisodeDirectorDanielle PanabakerStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerTeam Flash throws a surprise birthday party for Barry, but things go terribly awry when Ramsey Rosso crashes the festivities.9.5/10
Loved it. Absolutely loved it. Bloodwork has always been a great villain and it's amazing seeing Barry and Oliver again. The Arrow style fight scene also looked really good; made me miss Arrow a little bit. The promo for next week looks fucking insane as well. - DirectorEric WallaceStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerAs Iris receives word of a career milestone, Barry is suddenly nowhere to be found; Barry runs across many familiar faces; Khione continues to figure out her powers; Chester works on a suit for Allegra.8.5/10
The first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes are peak. Sadly there's that weird shit in the middle. It's so cool seeing that night again, but the episode is still plagued by a terrible middle, some pretty cringe writing and an extremely low budget. - DirectorKayla ComptonStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerIris is alarmed by Barry's disappearance and Cecile assures her everything will be OK; Team Flash is affected by a mysterious substance; Khione develops a better understanding of what she can and cannot control.5.75/10
Ah, back to this again. Another flash-lite episode, this time with only 2 episodes to go. It's actually insane how bad some of the writing is, not only dialogue but also the overall story. Introducing the negative forces has to be one of the worst decisions of all time. Even just comparing how the show looks to the flashbacks shots of season 1 just shows how far it has fallen in terms of lighting, set design and direction. For me, The Flash died in Season 7. I don't know whether it was covid or what, but it simply never recovered and now is going to go out in a whimper. - DirectorStefan PleszczynskiStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerTeam Flash works together to figure out how to protect Barry. Cecile is skeptical of the plan after an unsuccessful attempt Khione's confidence in Chester enables him to convince Cecile to try again.6.5/10
Eric Wallace is so averse to actual villains that he abuses a "negative speed force" which is just pure evil, and no evil can ever just exist without this magical force. Nobody can ever just be evil anymore. Crazy how they just gave up and don't even age up the team in 2049. Being like "Eddie hasn't even aged a day!" and then they all look exactly the same except for Iris is crazy. Eddie Thawne actor putting in an insane performance, like almost comical, but still really good. The writing in the first half of the episode is actually just terrible; they can't write dialogue properly. It was cool to see Eddie just actually spitting fax and being right about basically everything. Second to last episode and not having any Barry for 25 minutes is mental. This is really how we're going out is it. Crazy that I've been hyping up a zoom return in my head for like 4 years and it ends up just being a random cameo in the finale. Seeing Savitar is actually so cool, but again it is just a cameo so what is the actual point. Really is not as bad as last week's, but also it's not good. Why are they doing Cecille character development arc with 1 episode to go it just doesn't make sense. Why are we padding when you only have 42 minutes of the entire show left to close it all out. - DirectorVanessa PariseStarsGrant GustinCandice PattonDanielle PanabakerThe Flash, the fastest man alive, is tasked with his greatest challenge yet -- to save the timeline and save existence; friends old and new gather for an epic battle to save Central City, one last time.4/10
Yep.
