Flora is a Colombian - Canadian actress and singer who awoke the interest of critics worldwide for her lead role in the Colombian-French film "Rosario Tijeras", having been awarded in prestigious European and South American film festivals. Her career started at a young age in television shows in Colombia where she received various national awards also. Her first feature film "Soplo De Vida" won her the "Best Actress" at the Biarritz Film Festival (1999, France). She then moved to New York, where she resided for the next five years, to continue her training as an actress at The Actors Conservatory. From 2016 until present time she has been touring with her own theatrical production "Frida Libre", a musical monologue where she brings to life the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, having been seen in several countries by more than 150.000 spectators. That play written by herself is available in both Spanish and English versions.
