Rena Owen is an international award-winning actress, and one of only six in the world and the only female to date to have worked with both filmmaking legends George Lucas and Steven Spielberg during her illustrious career that spans 35 years working in theater, television, film and voice work.
One of nine children, born and bred in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand (NZ) to a Maori/Welsh father and a European mother, Rena was first published at age eight when she won a national children's poetry contest. Throughout her youth she was active in the Maori Culture Club, high school musical productions, and community theater events. Despite knowing her talents laid in creativity, the arts were not considered a viable career.
At 18, she moved to Auckland to pursue a nursing career, and qualified as a general and obstetric nurse (SRN). In 1983 she went on her overseas experience, a common Kiwi pursuit and landed in London. Awed by the huge city and the bright lights of the entertainment world, the temptations that came with it easily seduced the naive 22-year-old but this life changing period led her back to a creative career.
Rena trained at the Actors Institute of London in the mid-1980s. During her formative years she worked in all aspects of theater. The first play she wrote, The River That Ran Away, was produced by Clean Break and directed by her mentor, award-winning British actress Ann Mitchell, with Rena in the lead role. It enjoyed a successful London tour and was later published by NZ Playmarket (1991). Other UK highlights include Voices from Prison with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the award-winning Outside In, which debuted at the Edinburgh Festival.
Upon her return to NZ in 1989 Rena acted in two one-hour dramas for Television NZ's series, E Tipu, E Rea. A first of its kind, the series was written, acted, directed and produced by Maori people. In constant pursuit of learning and honing her craft, she continued to work extensively in theatre acting, writing, directing and working as a playwright. Rena was a founding member of the reputable Taki Rua Theatre Company.
She wrote and recorded short stories for Radio NZ, wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed stage play Daddy's Girl whilst playing reoccurring roles on NZ TV series Betty's Bunch and Shark in the Park. Rena was a rare recipient of a Dame Te Atairangikaahu (the NZ Maori Queen) Literary Award and Scholarship in 1991.
The Kevin Reynolds/Kevin Costner film Rapa Nui in 1993 was her first film role followed by the leading role in the cult classic NZ film Once Were Warriors. Her electrifying performance garnered her universal rave reviews. David Denby declared, "Owen's performance is classic!" Roger Ebert proclaimed, "You don't often see acting like this in the movies. The two leads bring the Academy Awards into perspective." Ruby Rich called her "The Bette Davis from Down Under" while Thelma Adams wrote, "Owen has the looks of Jeanne Moreau, the raw emotional power of Anna Magnani & a slim athleticism all her own".
Once Were Warriors was voted one of Time Magazine's top 10 films in 1994. It garnered over 30 international awards and screened in 66 countries. Rena won Best Actress awards at the Montreal, Oporto, Seattle, San Diego Film Festivals & the Cannes Film Festival's Spirit Award. While in NZ she was awarded the Benny Award for Excellence in Film and the Toastmasters Communicator of the Year Award.
She returned to the Theater to act in Stephen Berkoff's plays East West and Kvetch. Rena earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role in the NZ TV series Coverstory, was a series regular in the Australian Network 10 TV drama Adrenalin Junkies from 1996-98, played a leading role in Garth Maxwell's When Love Comes and a supporting role in Rolf De Heer's critically acclaimed Dance Me To My Song that was in competition at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival and earned her an Australian Film Institute (AFI) Best Supporting Actress nomination.
In 2000, Rena set up a base in Los Angeles. She played beloved Taun We in George Lucas's Star Wars: Attack of the Clones followed by a cameo role in Steven Spielberg's Artificial Intelligence (A.I). She guest starred on Gideon's Crossing & played a reoccurring role in WB's Angel. Lucas cast her again as Nee Alavar in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Born in Sudan, Siddig was raised in Britain and attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) where he studied acting and theater. Immediately after leaving LAMDA, Sid did a season of theater in Manchester, in addition to performing in various shows in pubs and small theaters. Later, Siddig worked as a director in a small theater in London.
"I was in a situation where I pretty much had a theater company at my disposal and a theater at my disposal and could do anything I liked...as long as I did it for nothing. Which is sort of a step before charging and not being able to do what you like. I was at a point where I could have just gone on and become a director in London, as a trainee at the Royal Shakespeare Company or something like that, and ended up being a bona fide director. It was quite a big struggle because for a year and a half, which is the time I spent directing immediately after I left acting school, you just have no money so you're just living on welfare and you're trying to make it. . ."
During this time of financial struggle Sid was offered the part of Emir Feisal in A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia (1992), the sequel to Lawrence of Arabia (1962). Sid co-starred with Ralph Fiennes who played T. E. Lawrence.
Siddig's performance in A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia (1992) brought him to the attention of Rick Berman who was creating the new series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993). Originally brought in to audition for the role of Captain Benjamin Sisko, Berman decided Siddig was too young for the role and cast him as Dr. Julian Bashir instead. The part had to be slightly rewritten for Siddig as the original "bible" had called for an Hispanic male to play the part, named Julian Amoros, although Berman reports that no other actors were considered for the role.
During his time on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), Siddig and co-star Nana Visitor had a son (Django) and were married in 1997. They divorced in 2001, although they remain friends.
After a successful seven-year run on television, Siddig began working in feature films, quickly accumulating roles in movies such as Vertical Limit (2000), Reign of Fire (2002), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), and the critically acclaimed Syriana (2005). Early 2005 saw Siddig return to the stage opposite Kim Cattrall in the West End production of "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" Following a controversial guest turn on MI-5 (2002), the title role in Hannibal (2006) in 2006 and a recurring role on 24 (2001) in 2007 brought Siddig back to the small screen.Avi Singh- Actress

Jonathan was born in New York City. At a very early age he started using his voice to mimic the sounds and voices around him. At the age of eleven he began performing in various stage plays and musicals in school. At age thirteen his interest in piano surfaced and he could be heard playing classical favorites without reading a note of music. The same gift of his ear for recreating sounds and voices allowed him to learn songs on the keyboard as well.
In High School he was honored with the Vocal Music, Drama, and Theater Workshop awards. At College he cultured skills as a Broadcasting major while working at both the Alternative Rock as well as the National Public Radio stations on campus.
In time, it was clear that his original material in both music and voice would most exemplify his talents. After a four year stay in Atlanta, GA to hone his skill set and build a portfolio, he moved to Los Angeles to be closer to the Motion Picture and Television capital of the world and follow his dream of voicing animated characters. A veteran of stage and radio, he resides in Los Angeles, California where he enjoys a rewarding career in voiceover.Announcer, Cartel Droid #1, Mokko- Actor

As a child growing up in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Ernie Hudson wrote short stories, poems and songs, always thinking that his words might one day come to life on stage. After a short stint in the Marine Corps, he moved to Detroit where he became the resident playwright at Concept East, the oldest black theatre in the country. In addition, he enrolled at Wayne State University to further develop his writing and acting skills and found time to establish the Actors' Emsemble Theatre, where he and other talented young black writers directed and appeared in their own works. After graduating with a B.A. from Wayne State, he was rewarded a full scholarship to the M.F.A. program at the prestigious Yale School of Drama. While performing with the school's repertory company, he was asked to appear in the Los Angeles production of Lonne Elder III's musical "Daddy Goodness," which led to his meeting Gordon Parks, who gave Hudson the costarring role in his first feature film, Leadbelly (1976). Unfortunately, all that followed "Leadbelly" was a year of "bit parts and some harsh lessons about Hollywood," which led Hudson to enroll in another academic doctorate program at the University of Minnesota. He did not complete the program. Through his experience, he learned another vital lesson: "There are those who spend their lives studying it and those who spend their lives doing it." Hudson definitely wanted to be in the second group. Keeping in mind this self-revelation, Hudson accepted the starring role of Jack Jefferson in the Minneapolis Theatre In The Round's production of "The Great White Hope," a role that he put "everything he had into," including shaving his head. A series of starring and guest roles followed on such television shows as Fantasy Island (1977), The Incredible Hulk (1978), Little House on the Prairie (1974), Diff'rent Strokes (1978), Taxi (1978), One Day at a Time (1975), Gimme a Break! (1981), The A-Team (1983) and Webster (1983), as well as costarring roles in the TV movies White Mama (1980) with Bette Davis, Roots: The Next Generations (1979), Women of San Quentin (1983), California Girls (1985), Mad Bull (1977) and Love on the Run (1985). Other feature film credits include The Jazz Singer (1980), The Main Event (1979), Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983), Penitentiary II (1982), Going Berserk (1983), Joy of Sex (1984) and, of course, the mega-hit Ghostbusters (1984).Grini Millegi- Actor
