As mais bem vestidas (segundo os ibrahims do ramo)
Fashion is a reflection of society. If before the industrial revolution extravagant people used to show power, sovereignty and influence in different ways, this has changed drastically since. However, as far as masculine elegance is concerned, there isn't much big news since, like other important pieces in the fashion industry, the 3-piece suit appeared in France in the 18th century. The royal tailors of Louis XIV had the idea of producing a more casual outfit for their king, being made of just three pieces of the same fabric. Yet suits haven't got cheaper or easily accessible for everyone. Thus men became more discreet with clothes and began to display their gains in other ways: through cars, cigars and jewelry for their companions. Consequently, the suit came to be considered more kinda bourgeois, businesslike clothing. As of 2022, I wouldn't say that much has changed in that sense.
So shall we move on to women's fashion. which is the only one to enable invention, variety, creativity and originality, and which any self-respecting woman adds to her worries, even if she considers herself a kinda "I'll just go to the movies and see what's on" type?
