Michael Hoffman reteams with RDJ after Soapdish. This movie also stars Ian with RDJ and is a British production just like Richard 3rd. Won two oscars for costumes and art direction for a reason the movie looks gorgeous. Sam Neal is great and silver tongued as the King. Effectively captures the Authenticity of the time period. RDJ does a great job of playing a fool, a lost confused man, and then a caring doctor. The stuff with the court in particular I think is the highlight of the film.

Another Box office bomb that RDJ was in that fell under the radar. Great cast Kieth Sutharland, Wionna Ryder, RDJ. This movie was controversial upon it's relase and even now looking at reviews many criticize it for not feeling like the 60s or being made by "hippies". Start of film Keith Sutherland we see his relationship with his famiy and Wionnya Ryder. Sutherland's character can come off as a little insuffarable. RDJ plays the druggy fuck up character similar to roles he had done previously, but gets more meat with this character. Movie can come off a little cheesy or hokey like the college protest scene. However, the film's problems are improved by great performances and well developed characters.

1985-1986 Season ( RDJ is great at accents, this 1986 cast was weird and only lasted a year. But RDJ I think gets too much hate. The Suitcase boy skit with Joan Cusack is funny and weird.

better than critics say. Well directed and solid, iffy plot, but this is a solid throwback 90s action film with a stacked cast. RDJ gets constrained most of film by script. But his character has some interesting developments. And RDJ is also good in it. As is weasly snipes. And Tommy lee Jones as well as his returning crew are all great. The twist allows RDJ to elevate his performance and basic writing.
