- DirectorPeter JacksonStarsIan McKellenMartin FreemanRichard ArmitageBilbo Baggins and company are forced to engage in a war against an array of combatants and keep the Lonely Mountain from falling into the hands of a rising darkness. It's a fair visual affair that contains little in true excitement and depth but we should, by now, know that it's the final instalment of three that when all are conjoined works fairly well.
- DirectorJames MarshStarsEddie RedmayneFelicity JonesTom PriorStephen Hawking gets unprecedented success in the field of physics despite being diagnosed with motor neuron disease at the age of 21. He defeats awful odds as his first wife Jane aids him loyally.Respect Cinema? Then this, too, will elevate your perception of what is the difference between Escapism and Art.
- DirectorNeville AstleyMark BakerStarsHarley BirdJohn SparkesRichard RidingsMrs Duck seems to have taken a liking to Peppa's Golden Boots and runs away with them! Can Peppa track down the Golden Boots before the big Puddle Jump competition?Costing £5.00 for all, in exclusive, but the target audience enjoyed it...too.
- DirectorAva DuVernayStarsDavid OyelowoCarmen EjogoOprah WinfreyA chronicle of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965.True-life drama of struggle & cost is loveingly shot and portrayed on the Big Screen. A must see if civil-rights, oppresion, racism and bigotry are of an interest.
Seen with the very last Orange Wednesday (24/02/2015). - DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsHarrison FordKaren AllenPaul FreemanIn 1936, archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones is hired by the U.S. government to find the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis can obtain its awesome powers.Comic book heroes. Adventure. Fun. And '80s cinema Spielberg, Kaufman & Lucas style...great fun indeed.
- DirectorTim JohnsonStarsJim ParsonsRihannaSteve MartinAn alien on the run from his own people makes friends with a girl. He tries to help her on her quest, but can be an interference.Great for tiny-tots and maybe a minority of others. Not the best work in the Dreamworks Canon too but the overall narritive is simple & pure, sugar coated predictable...kids' stuff.
- DirectorJoss WhedonStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansMark RuffaloWhen Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it's up to Earth's mightiest heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plan.Frankly, I was bored. A exceedingly dull affair that will only pass the time during a cold, dark English winter, if there were nothing else on the menu of course. Uninspiring and dull, dull, dull.
- DirectorGeorge MillerStarsTom HardyCharlize TheronNicholas HoultIn a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a woman rebels against a tyrannical ruler in search for her homeland with the aid of a group of female prisoners, a psychotic worshipper and a drifter named Max.An all boots-and-no-polish film that really needs no expectations of plot and narritive. A very high-end, highly exciting car crash road movie that really does not need to be driven around the block more than once.
- DirectorKyle BaldaPierre CoffinStarsSandra BullockJon HammMichael KeatonMinions Stuart, Kevin, and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a supervillain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.
- DirectorColin TrevorrowStarsChris PrattBryce Dallas HowardTy SimpkinsA new theme park, built on the original site of Jurassic Park, creates a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, which escapes containment and goes on a killing spree.Creature-feature with unsurprising bite and relish. Bog-standard in all access of this monster-mash theme park.
- DirectorAlan TaylorStarsArnold SchwarzeneggerJason ClarkeEmilia ClarkeWhen John Connor, leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline.Okay...just a touch of nostalgia with a new vibe that can add to the franchise very well.
- DirectorPeyton ReedStarsPaul RuddMichael DouglasCorey StollArmed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, pull off a plan that will save the world. The charming and, to a point, the more juvenile arm of the MARVEL tree. Cute but not cuddly.
- DirectorJosh TrankStarsMiles TellerKate MaraMichael B. JordanFour young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe which alters their physical form in shocking ways. The four must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. With a fifty mile round trip for a meal and then a film, so we, reluctantly, viewed this; the byword here is "kids" and "children" used throughout and it is where it ends. Truely dreadful in every way and simply a total waste of cinema screen-time. Avoid this unfantastic minus-four.
- DirectorAndré SingerStarsHelena Bonham CarterJasper BrittonLeonard BerneyResearchers discover film footage from World War II that turns out to be a lost documentary shot by Alfred Hitchcock and Sidney Bernstein in 1945 about German concentration camps.A further understanding of European history and the atrocities of the concentration and death camps of the Second World War and the insight and behind-the-scene of its making. Compelling, even its main-theme's impact just could be lost due to the documentation of the original material. Very good, very worth a look and historical throughout.
- DirectorWes BallStarsDylan O'BrienKaya ScodelarioThomas Brodie-SangsterAfter having escaped the Maze, the Gladers now face a new set of challenges on the open roads of a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Not too bad actually. Constant throughout with pace and held together with a little more than average plot, considering its main target audience..."the kids", as they say, and say, and say...
- DirectorGuy RitchieStarsHenry CavillArmie HammerAlicia VikanderIn the early 1960s, CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization, which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons.A tad tiresome affair that brought about an attack of the yawns' after the mid-section. The soundtrack seems slightly familiar, maybe an homage to Ennio Morricone, perhaps? With it set in its particular time-frame it would have done it no harm if more diversity were used, but while no "Funeral in Berlin", this episode should categorically stay within the boundaries of the Wall.
- DirectorSarah GavronStarsCarey MulliganAnne-Marie DuffHelena Bonham CarterIn 1912 London, a young working mother is galvanized into radical political activism supporting the right for women to vote, and is willing to meet violence with violence to achieve this end.A charming and beautiful, and at times, too, touching and heartbreaking, film that brings to light the suffering of unfair-play within a sexist society of early 20th Century Britain. A true and historical account of militants against oppresion that brings together women from all social classes' and backgrounds. Pay your respect and go and see this stunning piece of "English" cinema.
- DirectorTerry GilliamTerry JonesStarsGraham ChapmanJohn CleeseEric IdleKing Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table embark on a surreal, low-budget search for the Holy Grail, encountering many, very silly obstacles. The 40th Anniversary cinema release...Wednesday, 14th October 2015.
- DirectorBrian HelgelandStarsTom HardyEmily BrowningTaron EgertonIdentical twin gangsters Ronald and Reginald Kray terrorize London during the 1960s.Violence and love dominate this film. This tiny snippet of nineteen-sixties English gangland culture takes a look's into the life of the Kray twins, with Mr. Hardy's spilt-personality role really makes this film the more fascinating and brings to life the myth, the legend once more. Well worth a visit to the big screen to see such an engrossing film.

With no fuel readily available for the DeLorean, the two must figure how to escape the Old West before Emmett is murdered.Part III of the final instalment of watching the full trilogy in one showing...great fun, 21st October 2015.
- DirectorGenndy TartakovskyStarsAdam SandlerAndy SambergSelena GomezDracula and his friends try to bring out the monster in his half human, half vampire grandson in order to keep Mavis from leaving the hotel.Short. Sweet. Family. Fun.
- DirectorWes CravenStarsNeve CampbellCourteney CoxDavid ArquetteA year after the murder of her mother, a teenage girl is terrorized by a masked killer who targets her and her friends by using scary movies as part of a deadly game.Midnight Halloween horror special.
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigChristoph WaltzLéa SeydouxA cryptic message from James Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover the existence of a sinister organisation named SPECTRE. With a new threat dawning, Bond learns the terrible truth about the author of all his pain in his most recent missions. Not too exciting and not too dull either. A straight forward affair that just holds it together, another viewing will be necessary, and not a bad thing too. Just to add, this Bond is most certainly looking a tad too old in the face. With his, much, younger ladies involved here it is starting to look like father-daughter, or worse, jail-bait relationship. Time will only tell what things may look like if this Bond is to carry on his role.
