- DirectorBert KishStarsKatrina LawJordan BelfiPatricia RichardsonGreta Kaine (Katrina Law) is always in search of juicy gossip. As a gossip-tabloid reporter in Los Angeles, it's her job to expose the rich and famous. So when word gets out that the late Senator Tannenhill's sons might be proposing marriage at their family's Big Bear compound during Christmas, Greta and her chief rival Wes (Tom Lenk) are challenged by their old-school editor to get the scoop. There's incentive to be the first, too: the editorship of the magazine's new online incarnation. Greta's assistant tells her that Wes has a head start to snowy Big Bear, so she dashes to the mountain resort. When she mistakenly ends up as a guest of the family, she's in the middle of what could be her best story yet. However, she discovers that the family, including matriarch Maggie Tannenhill (Patricia Richardson) and caretaker Peters (Robert Curtis Brown) are more down-to-earth than she had assumed. Increasingly guilt-ridden about her game of subterfuge, Greta must decide how far she will go for a story.

- DirectorMichael Landon Jr.StarsChristian KaneMarley SheltonRyan McPartlinEchoing in the deepest depths of space, a humble prayer ascends from Maire Taylor, a smart, beautiful businesswoman who asks that her husband find the strength and wisdom to let go of their 9-year old marriage; meanwhile, a second prayer comes from Billy Taylor, a hopelessly romantic artist who asks that his wife receive the strength and wisdom to hold on. From these humble pleas come an answer in the form of a little miracle: an 8-year-old runaway from heaven who takes on the rekindling of this once-intimate friendship and romance that slipped away from Billy Maire after a heart-wrenching loss. Using all of her skill and charm, as well as some well-intentioned mischief, she comically sets out to heal their broken hearts and save their marriage by helping them get back to the basics of love.
- DirectorMichael M. ScottStarsBrooke BurnsHenry WinklerWarren ChristieCorporate analyst and single mom, Jen, tackles Christmas with a business-like approach until her uncle arrives with a handsome stranger in tow.
- DirectorErnie BarbarashStarsMerritt PattersonJack DonnellySamantha BondWhile on a last-minute European holiday, a young woman finds herself in the middle of a real-life fairy tale when a chance meeting with a handsome local leads to something more.
- DirectorJason PriestleyStarsAmy AckerDavid Haydn-JonesEmma DukeA young woman from a privileged life falls for a soup-kitchen owner after discovering a Dear Santa letter written by his 7-year-old daughter.
- DirectorRich NeweyStarsAmy AckerWarren ChristieBrooke NevinMaggie and Sam are crashing Christmas. When he proposes that they team up against his sister's perfect Christmas, neither is prepared for the blended-family challenges that lie ahead.
- DirectorMichael DamianStarsKatie McGrathRoger MooreSam HeughanAt the invitation of an estranged relative, a young woman travels with her niece and nephew to a castle in Europe for Christmas, where she unwittingly falls for a dashing Prince.Has the guy from that show… not Highlander… some other show about Scotland. I’ll think of it in a minute. Also has Roger Moore, 007 as a grumpy old fart. Anyway I don’t think anyone is a prince here and technically the troubled teen is the heir. These movies never get it right. Try it.
- DirectorAlex ZammStarsLacey ChabertJane SeymourStephen HaganPrince Leopold, heir to the throne of Cordinia, wishes to marry his young love Emily Taylor, a humble seamstress from Philadelphia. But Leopold's mother, Queen Isadora has other plans for her son.Lots of Hallmark tropes here—Lacey Chabert, obnoxious Folgers placement, a prince in disguise, etc. This one is easily in my Hallmark top 10. The guy who plays the butler is the GOAT. But the business with the hoagie in the kitchen is just dumb—like strategerie dumb, and Queen Jane Seymour is Regina George on steroids up until she does a heel face turn at the very last. Two thumbs up to Lacey if that was really haggis. I also got the uncomfortable idea that her BFF ended up with her dad. Watch it.
- DirectorAlex ZammStarsDanica McKellarRupert Penry-JonesEllie BotterillAfter getting fired from her job as a maid at a ritzy New York City hotel, Allie reluctantly accepts a temporary gig as the governess to a young girl who is part of a powerful family in Europe that lives in a castle. My #1 Hallmark Christmas movie, sets the standard and most of them never come close to this again. The king goes and gets his Queen Danica McKellar on horseback at the end of the movie. This makes the vagina happy. Watch it.
- DirectorJames HeadStarsBriana EviganPaul CampbellGreg EviganWhen a Princess escapes her entourage to explore New York City over Christmas, she meets a young man who shows the beautiful stranger his side of the city.I don’t like the ones where the chick is the princess and the guy is a just a guy, so I’ve barely watched this one. The princess always seems to want to ditch her royal life whereas the prince in these things at least has a chance of wanting to be a prince. Plus Paul Campbell’s movies with Kimberly Sustad are just better quality. Skip it.
- DirectorFred Olen RayStarsViva BiancaKirk BarkerAaron O'ConnellWanting to escape an arranged marriage, a European prince flees to the United States. There, he meets a struggling young waitress who may just be his one true love. This one is kind of terrible because from what I can remember, it’s mostly spent in a diner. Honestly I only watched it once or twice. There’s nothing particularly romantic about it and I don’t really care about the characters. I found myself rooting for a sledding accident because I just wanted something to happen other than people walking in and out of the beige restaurant. Skip it.
- DirectorErnie BarbarashStarsMerritt PattersonJack DonnellySamantha BondWhile on a last-minute European holiday, a young woman finds herself in the middle of a real-life fairy tale when a chance meeting with a handsome local leads to something more. This is a Jadis movie-- it's winter, not Christmas, but it checks all the other boxes, so here it is. These winter movies lack the excitement of the Christmas films because I'm hung over and it's cold.
- DirectorAlex ZammStarsRose McIverBen LambAlice KrigeWhen a reporter goes undercover as a tutor to get the inside scoop on a playboy prince, she gets tangled in some royal intrigue and ends up finding love - but will she be able to keep up her lie? This one has a lot to unpack. Basically the lead actress is a chick playing a chick playing another chick. The prince is secretly adopted but in the end nobody cares, which would never happen IRL, there’s a little girl in a wheelchair, a villain right out of an 80s soap opera, and I think they get chased by wolves, or maybe that’s the sequel, and then there’s the Borg queen. And it’s Christmas. Watch it.
- DirectorMonika MitchellStarsJessy SchramSam PageCrystal BalintAn aspiring fashion designer falls in love with her socialite client's fiance, Prince Jeffrey. It's a New Year's movie but there are still Christmas decorations in the background and there's a knight on this list, so it's OK. Nice enough costumes, and they don’t ruin anything with cheap jewelry. Decent, above-average story good for multiple watches, I like it… but it’s still nothing special and the accents are terrible. Try it.
- DirectorSam IrvinStarsAlexis KnappCallum AlexanderPamela Sue MartinSamantha, a teacher, returns to her hometown for Christmas, where she is joined by her boyfriend, Alex. When she learns Alex is the crown prince of Madelvia, she must decide if she loves Alex enough to stop teaching and become a royal.I have a hard time finishing this movie. The prince is bland and forgettable, and the stars they have doing smaller roles can’t save it. Skip it.
- DirectorDavid DeCoteauStarsTara ReidIngo RademacherHaley PullosA bachelor king tries to reconnect with his old college sweetheart.Has Tara Reid and would have been vastly improved with flying sharks with fricken laser beams attached to their heads. This movie proves that Christmas is about suffering. Skip it.
- DirectorFred Olen RayStarsCindy BusbyDiarmaid MurtaghAdam LevyHandsome prince and fashion assistant fall in love amidst a Christmas fashion show. This supposedly takes place in Beverly Hills and it looks like they filmed on the hottest day of July. I just don’t see the reason for people to pretend it’s that cold. It was probably cheap to shoot because of the location but this movie doesn’t say Christmas to me, and honestly the prince just seems like a football player who took a bet to see if he could pass for a prince. Skip it.
- DirectorPeter HewittStarsMerritt PattersonAndrew CooperBrittany BristowA king who is struggling to live up to his father's name hires an ice skating choreographer for a special Christmas Eve performance to celebrate the founding of his nation. All of these movies are predictable, but this one was also boring and the only royal who seemed royal was the king's aunt(?). I would totally watch a movie about her with none of these other people in it. Try it.
