Gal Gadot Reveals What It Means to Play Wonder Woman8 of 11
Did you follow the Wonder Woman story when you were growing up?
Not really, to be honest. No. I knew of her. The Lynda Carter show, the Wonder Woman show, I wasn't born then. After I got cast, I saw some of the re-runs.
Is your daughter familiar with Wonder Woman?
[Big smile] Yes, she is. Yes, she is. Yeah. She's super excited.
You were talking about pop cultures figures for young people to look up, and boys had many. Who did you look up to in pop culture when you were young?
Let me think if I had any. I didn't have a strong female figure to look up to. Only when I was a teenager I loved different artists, you know, women. But as a girl I didn't have a strong figure to look up to, other than my mother.
