April Picks: The Movies and TV Shows You Can't Miss7 of 10
"Fosse/Verdon" | Premieres on FX, Tuesday, April 9
Each time I look at any footage from "Fosse/Verdon," FX's drama series centered on the creative and romantic relationship between choreographer Bob Fosse and dancer Gwen Verdon, I hear Tina Fey's joke title for American Hustle: "Explosion at the Wig Factory." I also have to remind myself that this isn't a Ryan Murphy show — in fact, FX might have fashioned the limited series in the style of "Pose" and "Feud" in an attempt to fill the void created by Murphy's move from edgy cable network to Netflix. That said, the pairing of Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams might be the best TV casting coup of the year. And does this mean that All That Jazz will finally become available to stream? — Arno
