The Oscar Nominations We Want to See1 of 14
Best Picture: 'Avengers: Infinity War'
Black Panther may be the most likely candidate for a superhero Best Picture nom, but my vote is for the best Marvel movie of the year — Avengers: Infinity War. It featured dozens of characters, yet didn't feel overstuffed, surged with thrills and genuine emotion, and ended with a bang (or, more accurately, a disintegration). Plus, Josh Brolin stole the show as Thanos. So often in superhero movies, the villain's motives exist purely as a foil for the protagonists, but not in Infinity War. Thanos may be insane, but he isn't one-dimensional. So can we get Brolin a Best Actor nom, too? — Kelsey
