"While Yosemite isn't really all that bad of a movie, it has decent cinematography and acting, it's just not that interesting. Honestly got bored sometimes throughout and paused the movie just to see where I was at on time. Still Yosemite isn't all that bad either. It doesn't really do anything wrong, it's just kinda bland and boring." - DirectorDuke JohnsonCharlie KaufmanStarsDavid ThewlisJennifer Jason LeighTom NoonanA man crippled by the mundanity of his life experiences something out of the ordinary.January 8, 2016

"With some great animation and clever ideas Anomlaisa comes through as being a very well crafted film. However, at least for me, I just could really get into this film until about the halfway point. The first part just dragged and I'm not sure if that was intentional or not." - DirectorJason ZadaStarsNatalie DormerEoin MackenStephanie VogtA young woman's desperate search for her twin sister brings her to a ghost-filled stretch of wilderness known as the 'Suicide Forest.'January 8, 2016

"Normally the January horror movie is a waste of time but The Forest was actually a surprise. With some visually striking imagery, some great uses of symbolism and solid performances, The Forest keeps you guessing and on your toes until the end. Sure it has some unnecessary jump scares and the ending jump scare was just plain stupid. Still I had a great time with The Forest." - DirectorAlejandro G. "First 2016 release I saw in 2016 and what a way to start off the year. Beautiful cinematography and outstanding performances from the entire cast, this brutal revenge flick is a hard one to stomach. The only complaint I had was I felt it was a little too long but that's really it." - DirectorPark Hoon-jungStarsHitanshu BarikKim Hong-paPark In-SooWhile the Kingdom of Korea is under occupation by the Japanese, an old and experienced hunter is challenged by the hunt of the last tiger.January 8, 2016

"A gripping story about man vs nature with outstanding visuals, soundtrack and performances. Sure the CGI can be a bit shaky at times but it doesn't really distract you from the film. There's 2 scenes with the Tiger that are just completely amazing." - DirectorMichael BayStarsJohn KrasinskiPablo SchreiberJames Badge DaleDuring an attack on a U.S. compound in Libya, a security team struggles to make sense out of the chaos.January 15, 2016

"Fast paced and relentless, 13 Hours proves to be one of Michael Bay's best and most mature films. Extremely tense and filled with disturbing moments in the heat of battle, 13 Hours is as engaging as it is slick." - DirectorAntoine Bardou-JacquetStarsRupert GrintRon PerlmanRobert SheehanAfter failing to locate the legendary Stanley Kubrick, an unstable CIA agent must instead team up with a seedy rock band manager to develop the biggest con of all time-staging the moon landing.January 15, 2016

"A solid and entertaining movie that's only held back from some of it's pacing. Sometimes it's fast paced and other times seems to be going nowhere. Still Ron Pearlman is hugely entertaining and overall Moonwalkers is a good time." - DirectorAaron NeeAdam NeeStarsKyle GallnerAdam NeeMatthew Gray GublerTom Sawyer and Huck Finn are grown men, still searching for the hidden treasure that has eluded them since childhood.January 16, 2016

"A very fun and at times hilarious film about a bunch of screw ups trying to make it rich. This twist on Huckfinn and Tom Sawyer is a true treat as the cast in the film share such a great chemistry. It’s one of those films that you find on Netflix and out of curiosity watch it and then be glad you did." - DirectorTim StoryStarsIce CubeKevin HartTika SumpterAs his wedding day approaches, Ben heads to Miami with his soon-to-be brother-in-law James to bring down a drug dealer who's supplying the dealers of Atlanta with product.January 16, 2016

"While being decently entertaining, Ride Along 2 is unfunny compared to the original. Kevin Hart is the show stealer once again as Ice Cube delivers cringe worth lines throughout most of the movie." - DirectorJ BlakesonStarsChloë Grace MoretzMatthew ZukGabriela LopezFour waves of increasingly deadly alien attacks have left most of Earth in ruin. "Probably the only film where I thought to myself that the first act was better than the rest of the movie. The cast does try but that doesn't mean there's great performances throughout. For the most part the kids outside of Chloe Grace are pretty bad. Not to mention some fairly bad CGI and dialogue. Overall, The 5th Wave has a pretty good idea, but it's execution isn't quiet as solid." - DirectorRaman HuiStarsBaihe BaiBoran JingWu JiangHuman and monsters have lived in their separate worlds, but after the birth of Wuba, the last of the monster kings, begins the adventure to bring the two races together.January 22, 2016

"Charming and Fun, Monster Hunt is exactly what a movie like this needed to be. Full of action, fantasy and comedy, Monster Hunt is a truly fun feel good movie for all ages. Sure the CGI is pretty bad for the most part and the overall film is pretty apparent to how it's going to end, it's still the ride that counts the most." - DirectorLenny AbrahamsonStarsBrie LarsonJacob TremblaySean BridgersA little boy is held captive in a room with his mother since his birth, so he has never known the world outside.January 22, 2016

"With outstanding performances, Room is an emotional ride from front to finish. It's one of those films I went into with mildly high expectations and it met them on every level." - DirectorCameron LabineStarsChace CrawfordTyler LabineChristine WillesMountain Men is a comedy/drama that follows two estranged brothers, Toph and Cooper, as they journey to a remote family cabin in the mountains to evict a squatter. With their very survival at stake, they must learn to work together as brothers to get back to civilization.January 26, 2016

"Being a fan of Tyler Labine I'll watch pretty much whatever his name's on Netflix but Mountain Men is more down the middle than some of his other projects. While being a pretty decent watch it is easily forgettable. The cast and setting is solid but there just isn't anything strong enough to stand out." - DirectorGavin O'ConnorStarsNatalie PortmanJoel EdgertonEwan McGregorA woman asks her ex-lover for help in order to save her outlaw husband from a gang out to kill him.January 29, 2016

"While having solid performances and decent cinematography, Jane Got A Gun is really brought down by some major pacing issues and the script. "Sticking close to what made the first two Kung Fu Panda movies such great films, Kung Fu Panda 3 delivers with one of the best villains in the series yet. While I assume there's going to be a fourth film, I feel like Kung Fu Panda 3 did a good enough job to close out the series." - DirectorMamoru HosodaStarsKoji YakushoAoi MiyazakiShôta SometaniWhen a young orphaned boy living on the streets of Shibuya stumbles upon a fantastic world of beasts, he's taken in by a gruff warrior beast looking for an apprentice.February 2, 2016

"The Coen Brothers deliver again with a hugely entertaining love letter to film with Josh Brolin eating up every scene he's in. The cameos are great and the cinematography is great and has a "retro" feel to it. However, Hail Caesar isn't perfect. Some scenes just seem out of place and used just to extend time or to fully use the cameo. Still, highly recommend Hail Caesar!" - DirectorBurr SteersStarsLily JamesSam RileyJack HustonFive sisters in 19th century England must cope with the pressures to marry while protecting themselves from a growing population of zombies.February 5, 2016

"While being a pretty fun flick with some interesting visuals and action pieces, PPZ still struggles with the same problems as it's source material. Being that the zombies rather feel like filler and a gimmick then their own thing. Still I found PPZ to be rather enjoyable, if not all the rememberable." - DirectorTim MillerStarsRyan ReynoldsMorena BaccarinT.J. "While not really knowing anything about Deadpool and walking in expecting a sub-par film because I didn't really care for any of the trailers. Deadpool ended up being a big surprise for me. I will jump on the bandwagon and say that I'm glad Marvel and 20th Century Fox decided to step up and give this film an R rating because it was actually refreshing. It's crude, violent, childish and somewhat offensive and I love it for that. Even though I'm not a Ryan Reynolds fan, I can't think of anyone else who could have played a better Deadpool." - DirectorRobert EggersStarsAnya Taylor-JoyRalph InesonKate DickieA family in 1630s New England is torn apart by the forces of witchcraft, black magic and possession.February 19, 2016

"One of the biggest disappointments of the year, The Witch is slow, non-atmosphereic and builds up to a very quick payoff that seems to just help make the film come to a close. Even though The Witch had great cinematography, score and performances, it still wasn't enough to get me invested. I was hoping for a truly unnerving film with strong heavy atmosphere but unfortunately it isn't." - DirectorAlex ProyasStarsBrenton ThwaitesNikolaj Coster-WaldauGerard ButlerMortal hero Bek teams with the god Horus in an alliance against Set, the merciless god of darkness, who has usurped Egypt's throne, plunging the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict.February 26, 2016

"Another big disappointment, Gods of Egypt makes some Sci-Fi originals look like Pacific Rim. Bad acting, writing, CGI, this movie is why we don't get a lot of fantasy styled films now a days. I will give it some benefit on saying the Anubis parts were some of the better parts. It's still entertaining enough to get you to the end but overall disappointing." - DirectorByron HowardRich MooreJared BushStarsGinnifer GoodwinJason BatemanIdris ElbaIn a city of anthropomorphic animals, a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy.March 4, 2016

"Even though Zootopia is pretty heavy handed with it's message, it's still a fun, cute, and fast ride. The animation is great and the detail to the world it created is outstanding. However, Zootopia is a little predictable but overall a very good film." - DirectorDan TrachtenbergStarsJohn GoodmanMary Elizabeth WinsteadJohn Gallagher Jr.A young woman is held in an underground bunker by a man who insists that a hostile event has left the surface of the Earth uninhabitable.March 11, 2016

"John Goodman brings one of his best performances ever to the screen with this tense and engaging thriller. Still a rather good film with an outstanding performance." - DirectorLouis LeterrierStarsSacha Baron CohenMark StrongRebel WilsonA new assignment forces a top spy to team up with his football hooligan brother.March 11, 2016

"Funny and over the top, The Brothers Grimsby is exactly what I wanted it to be. Both Sacha Baron Cohen and Mark Strong are great but I will say some of the gags were trying a little too much to be shocking rather than funny. All in all The Brothers Grimsby was a great time and highly rewatchable." - DirectorRoy Hin Yeung ChowStarsSammo Kam-Bo HungEddie PengLuodan WangAn orphan, whose father has been killed by dark power, attempts to bring justice back to the town.March 11, 2016

"With some truly great martial art fight scenes and some interesting visuals, the story sundering Rise of the Legend doesn’t really make it worth the watch. It feels like pieces of thread just getting you to the next epic fight scene and that’s where this movie is amazing. The fight scenes are without a doubt some of the best of the year." - DirectorZack SnyderStarsBen AffleckHenry CavillAmy AdamsBatman is manipulated by Lex Luthor to fear Superman. "Overblown and jumbled, Batman v Superman falls flat even though I wasn't very hyped to see it. The action, visuals, and soundtrack were all great but the overall story was pretty bad. The films tries to hard to set up the upcoming DC movies and loses focus on what the film should have been about, Batman vs Superman. I feel tore because the film is either a love it or hate it with some moments and ideas I loved and the rest I hated. I haven't felt this tore in a while." - DirectorMarc AbrahamStarsTom HiddlestonElizabeth OlsenMaddie HassonThe story of the country-western singer Hank Williams, who in his brief life created one of the greatest bodies of work in American music. 7/10
"With strong performances, great visuals and of course great music. I Saw The Light is a solid biopic of the one and only Hank Williams. My biggest and really only probably with the film was how it went about telling the story. I felt like I Saw The Light focused on things that didn't see as pivotal as other aspects of his life that seemed glanced over." - DirectorJay LenderMicah WrightStarsMia MarconKris LemcheDavid AlpayThe renovation of an old house in a village somewhere in Eastern Europe will bring the crew of an American home improvement TV show up against superstitions, misunderstandings and bloody violence.March 26, 2016

"They're Watching feels like a lesser, witch version of What We Do In The Shadows. While the film is enjoyable enough to get to the end, it's nothing amazing either. "With a title like Frankenstein Created Bikers you'd think you'd be in for an over-the-top grindhouse thrill ride but inside of all three of those things, you get 2/3. Yes it's over-the-top and yes it's styled like a grindhouse film however it's numbingly boring. While some of the dialogue is so insanely over-the-top is can be hilarious, funny enough to the point that me and my friends will be quoting it for a long time, the dialogue is also painfully bad. The film is just overall extremely poorly made. Bad editing, bad cinematography, bad writing, bad makeup, bad effects and it's not even to the point of it's suppose to be this way. It's just bad that's try to be exploitative that I feel like "This is really bad... Oh well it's a grindhouse film who cares." I care, take for an example Hobo With A Shotgun. Hobo is a prime example of a great grindhouse film that's well made as well. Frankenstein Created Bikers is just plain bad but me and my friends did have a few hard laughs though." - DirectorIlya NaishullerStarsSharlto CopleyTim RothHaley BennettHenry is resurrected from death with no memory, and he must save his wife from a telekinetic warlord with a plan to bio-engineer soldiers.April 8, 2016

"2016 is shaping up to be a pretty solid year and Hardcore Henry is a film I've been looking forward too for a while. Fast paced, frantic, over-the-top and violent. Henry is a film for action junkies. With great stunt work and the idea of being a POV movie is a really interesting take in the action genre. This does feel a lot like a video game and I can't complain. Sure the story is kinda weak and there's a few moments of bad to terrible CGI but outside of that this film hit every nail on the head that I wanted it. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be." - DirectorMike FlanaganStarsJohn Gallagher Jr.Kate SiegelMichael TruccoA deaf and mute writer who retreated into the woods to live a solitary life must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window.April 8, 2016

"Hush is a unique standard horror film. What I mean is, Hush brings a unique twist on your standard home invasion horror film where the main character is deaf so she does know what's going on at some points. That twist does bring some truly chilling moments. However, the rest of the film is very stereotypical home invasion horror/thriller. Still Hush is much better than about 90% of horror we get now a days and would be an easy recommend ." - DirectorJon FavreauStarsNeel SethiBill MurrayBen KingsleyAfter a threat from the tiger Shere Khan forces him to flee the jungle, a man-cub named Mowgli embarks on a journey of self discovery with the help of panther Bagheera and free-spirited bear Baloo.April 15, 2016

"I grew up with the original animated Jungle Book movie and I still hold it close to my heart. Jump cut many years later and we get a more "realistic looking" (I say that loosely) version of the film and I have to say it's still as charming as the original. The plot stays close to the same with some changes here and there. The cast is fantastic but the boy who played Mowgli can be a little stale at some points. This does carry a darker tone then the original but it's still fun enough for children to enjoy. My biggest complaint would be that pretty much everything besides Mowgli in this film is CGI. If they were going to do a solid CGI film, I wish they would have just made Mowgli CGI as well because there's many times throughout the film where I could really tell were Mowgli just stuck out from the CGI animals." - DirectorCedric Nicolas-TroyanStarsChris HemsworthJessica ChastainCharlize TheronEric and fellow warrior Sara, raised as members of ice Queen Freya's army, try to conceal their forbidden love as they fight to survive the wicked intentions of both Freya and her sister Ravenna.April 22, 2016

"While I enjoyed the first one I never thought it was anything amazing and the sequel Winter's War kinda made me feel the same way. It's a pretty solid film but nothing outstanding. Rather enjoyable and pleasing with some fun moments, decent set pieces, and acting. I think the first Huntsman movie was a little better but Winter's War is still pretty solid." - DirectorBen WheatleyStarsTom HiddlestonJeremy IronsSienna MillerLife for the residents of a tower block begins to run out of control.April 28, 2016

"Visually stunning, well performance and absolutely insane. High-Rise is incredibly head starching as it is interesting. While the metaphor to society and its elitists might be a little in your face, the overall film is so crazy and entertaining that any strong messages it pushes are heard but not distracting. With an outstanding soundtrack High-Rise is a real treat to watch." - DirectorJeremy SaulnierStarsAnton YelchinImogen PootsAlia ShawkatA punk rock band is forced to fight for survival after witnessing a murder at a neo-Nazi skinhead bar.April 29, 2016

"Keanu is from the masterminds Key and Peele who had arguably one of the best sketch comedy shows of all time. Keanu kinda feels though like a full length sketch but that doesn't mean it's bad. It's actually really funny and super enjoyable. However, even though Keanu hits everything it needs too, it's one of those movies that I don't feel like I would re-watch very often. Still a crowd pleaser and I hope to see more from the duo." - DirectorKevin MunroeJericca ClelandStarsJames Arnold TaylorDavid KayeJim WardWhen the galaxy comes under the threat of a nefarious space captain, a mechanic and his newfound robot ally join an elite squad of combatants to save the universe.April 29, 2016

"I've been a fan of the video game series since I was a kid and actually played through the video game tie in of this movie which was a lot of fun, so it was to my surprise that the movie itself was rather boring. Very few funny moments and not nearly as fun feeling as the game, Ratchet & Clank still had some clever moments but ultimately felt mediocre. It's strange that the game itself based on this movie was a lot better than the movie. The film felt like it cut from place to place where the game had more time to flesh things out a bit. Unfortunately Ratchet & Clank falls as another disappointment for the year." - DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsChris EvansRobert Downey Jr.Scarlett JohanssonPolitical involvement in the Avengers' affairs causes a rift between Captain America and Iron Man.May 6, 2016

"Captain America has been my favorite series from the Avenger tie in films and Civil War just might be the best of them all. Leaving the theater I couldn't help but think this is what the second Avenger movie should have been. It has a great cast, action and solid plot. Also unlike Age of Ultron I felt like everybody had their right to be in the film and felt used and not random. It's a fun flick with some really great moments and is probably the best Avenger tie in." - DirectorYorgos LanthimosStarsColin FarrellRachel WeiszJessica BardenIn a dystopian near future, according to the laws of The City, single people are taken to The Hotel, where they are obliged to find a romantic partner in 45 days or they're transformed into beasts and sent off into The Woods.May 13, 2016

"Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood have great chemistry together and it brings forward a pretty decent low budget watch. However The Trust isn't without it flaws. "I remember seeing trailers for The Angry Birds Movie and just thinking how terrible it would probably be. Jump forward to the other day when Netflix added the film to their list I decided one night I'd put it on as some background noise while I play some online games. However, after just a few minutes I found myself watching the movie instead of playing games and honestly being completely surprised on just how good this movie ended up being. It's film that I feel confused about. It should be a kids movie right? Well it kinda isn't. In my opinion this is more for adults. Throughout the film it has some adult jokes and the overall plot of the movie is kinda messed up when you think about it. Not too mention the film is kinda mean spirited at times. Still I was honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed The Angry Birds Movie and how much I laughed." - DirectorShane BlackStarsRussell CroweRyan GoslingAngourie RiceIn 1970s Los Angeles, a mismatched pair of private eyes investigate a missing girl and the mysterious death of a porn star.May 20, 2016

"While not as good as First Class or Days of Future Past (I consider the best X-Men movie), Apocalypse is still pretty solid. Apocalypse makes for a really interesting villain and the introduction to young Nightcrawler, Jean and Scott was pretty nice to see. There were some moments where I thought the CGI was pretty weak that falls behind when compared to the performances by James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. Which brings me to my biggest problem in the movie. They needed to focus more time with Erik (Magneto). I felt like he was really under used and should have been in the film more since he felt like such a key character to the story." - DirectorDave GreenStarsMegan FoxWill ArnettTyler PerryThe Turtles get into another battle with their enemy the Shredder, who has acquired new allies: the mutant thugs Bebop and Rocksteady and the alien being Krang.June 3, 2016

"While still being fun and stylish, Out of the Shadows falls in comparison to the first (2014) TMNT film. I know I'm on the short side of saying that the reboot (2014) TMNT was great, fun and exciting, Out of the Shadows doesn't have some of those great moments. Bebop and Rocksteady was fun to watch and the Turtles of course were great again. However, Shredder, Krang, Casey Jones, April and Vernon felt really under used. Shredder was basically nothing. Casey Jones felt out of place and just there to be there. April was a lesser than the first and Vernon was barely in the film where in the original was one of the better characters. Krang was a huge disappointment and his fight compared to the Shredder fight at the end of the first just it falls short. I will say though that Out of the Shadows is still a good time I just felt like that tried to cram too much into one movie. I hope to see the series move forward." - DirectorNa Hong-jinStarsJun KunimuraHwang Jung-minKwak Do-wonSoon after a stranger arrives in a little village, a mysterious sickness starts spreading. "Atmospheric, nightmarish and ultimately an extremely well rounded movie, The Wailing is a must see. The performances, cinematography and set designs are outstanding, while the story keeps you guessing. I'd say my only real hang-up with the film is the run time. There was probably five or six times I thought the film was going to be over but it kept going which made it feel like it was starting to drag but until the end the film did keep you guessing on what was going to happen. Highly recommend." - DirectorJames WanStarsVera FarmigaPatrick WilsonMadison WolfeEd and Lorraine Warren travel to North London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by a supernatural spirit.June 10, 2016

"While I never thought the first Conjuring was a horror masterpiece like everybody else, I still thought it was a rather solid horror film in a sea of terribleness. So when I heard the sequel was coming around the corner I figured I might as well go see it and it pretty much met my expectations which were "I hope this is pretty decent." It's not as good as the first but it's still rather good. Sure the jump scares are stupid and the Demon Nun is cliched but there's no doubt the acting was great and James Wan's use of tracking shots are excellent." - DirectorDuncan JonesStarsTravis FimmelPaula PattonBen FosterAs an Orc horde invades the planet Azeroth using a magic portal, a few human heroes and dissenting Orcs must attempt to stop the true evil behind this war.June 10, 2016

"With some decent cinematography and action set pieces The Last King really falls from being rather boring. Sure the action set in place in nice but its small and far in-between. With a great cast and some, for the most part, great CGI Resurgence just felt weak and bland. Nothing really stood out and the film ending pretty much how you'd expect it too. The biggest complaint I can make about Resurgence is that it goes really out there in left field with it's story and it starts making things just seem silly." - DirectorTravis ZariwnyStarsLouise LintonJohn RobinsonMobyDuring one of Oregon's most violent storms, a young cellist seeks solitude and comfort in the safety of her large apartment, but soon realizes she might not be home alone.June 24, 2016

"Saw Intruder as the fourth film during a Horror movie lock in and I'd have to say it was the weakest out of the bunch. It's your standard stalker/home invasion film that really doesn't bring anything new to the table. It has some poor cinematography that mainly consist of close ups. However, the film doesn't really do anything wrong either, it just kinda does nothing. The overall story really felt like nothing happened besides like three things in the entire run time. It's one of those movies you watch, feel nothing and then forget. But I can't say it's the worst movie of the year because it didn't really do anything all the wrong, it was just bland, unoriginal and ultimately just a movie." - DirectorNicolas Winding RefnStarsElle FanningChristina HendricksKeanu ReevesAn aspiring model, Jesse, is new to Los Angeles. I get it that it's suppose to be the "extras" of a North Korean Propaganda documentary but still feels like it's doesn't really go anywhere or have much of a purpose to show us anything all that new. Let's be honest for a moment, the entire time he was on the screen you were focused on him because he was that good. His performance alone makes The Infiltrator worth seeing. Besides Cranston's excellent performance The Infiltrator also boosts a some beautiful cinematography, a great cast, and honestly some great pacing as well. "Being a fan of the Graphic Novel, I was anticipating the animated film. While I think DC has dropped the ball on their live-action films, their animated films have been top quality (ex. The Dark Knight Returns Pt 1 & 2). However, The Killing Joke felt a little empty. While the animation is beautiful and the Joker owns every second on screen with creepy animation, the overall film just felt week compared to the graphic novel. I don't really want to compare the film to the comic but I feel like I kinda have to since the novel felt like more was at stake where the film just went from beginning to end. Maybe it was a little too rushed or just weak direction but it's still a pretty solid movie. "I went into Suicide Squad later than my peers and after hearing their thoughts I was walking in with the expectation of a 4/10. However, thanks to extremely lowered expectations I left the theater rather surprised and smiling. Suicide Squad is nowhere near perfect but it's not completely wrong either. The visuals, action set pieces, and soundtrack were all top notch and the story was serviceable. All those elements helped create a decently fun movie. Suicide Squad isn't without sin though. First and foremost the Witch or Enchantress was hands down the worst villain I've seen in a while. She was a terrible character and a forced loved interest as well. Her brother was just plain dumb looking and neither one truly felt like a force to be dealt with because the film doesn't really focus on them as much as "the villains." Next is the squad itself. It's fine if you want to have multiple characters but do it evenly. Suicide Squad mainly focuses only on Will Smith... I mean Deadshot, Harley Quinn and Army Man Joe I forgot his name. The rest of the characters are just background characters that have a little intro and then contribute nothing else besides a few one-liners or actions pieces and that's it. They set up Diablo really fast to have a decent moment but it did feel forced as well. Just want to say this really fast, Killer Croc was dumb looking and acting and Slipknot was hilarious or how they just disregarded his character.... Oh yeah the henchmen in the movie looks dumb. Finally though and probably the worst part of Suicide Squad I have to say is the Joker. Honestly though when I saw the trailer I thought the look and laugh of the Joker was just incredible but then when I actually saw it, it was just so cringe worthy. It's over acted. I thought most of Harley Quinn was cingey too but the Joker takes it all. Still thought he looked great and his laugh was great but overall just bad. So to concluded Suicide Squad is one of those very few films that I love/hate but kinda proves that DC is having a failing cinematic universe and there's parts of me that believes if David Ayer got to release his original cut of the film that it might have been a little better." - DirectorDavid LoweryStarsBryce Dallas HowardRobert RedfordOakes FegleyThe adventures of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who happens to be a dragon.August 12, 2016

But where Pete's Dragon fits best is it's story telling. Yes it's pandering and yes it's cheesy at times but it's for kids and it's serviceable. Even though it is somewhat too geared towards kids there is still a strong enough story though to get adults involved as it does bring some decently strong messages.
