Movie Campaign of the Week
The Jigsaw Blood Drive launched this week. A continuation of Lionsgate's savvy campaign to get horror fans to donate blood and earn complimentary Jigsaw tickets, the program began in 2004, and this year the studio garnered added attention with its campaign slogan: "All Types Welcome." With seductive images of LGBTQ+ spokespeople, including Amanda Lepore, Shaun Ross, and our friend Grae Drake (pictured), as well as a call-out for the Red Cross to revisit its donor policies and become more inclusive, we remember that the Saw is a franchise with a heart — even if the Jigsaw has rigged up a contraption to extract the vital organ from his subjects.
