Editors' Picks: Our Favorite Things From the Week of Feb. 2512 of 12
Ressurection(ist) of the Week
After lingering in the ether since it was first released in the U.K. in 2015, "The Frankenstein Chronicles" has finally been released in the U.S., thanks to the folks over at Netflix. Starring Sean Bean (Ned Stark in "Game of Thrones") and Vanessa Kirby (Princess Margaret in "The Crown"), the show features not only solid acting and compelling characters but also a unique take on the Frankenstein story, which is a challenge with so many variations on a tale that was first published in 1818. More period suspense than horror, it's got plenty of cross-genre binge appeal.
