Mark Hamill Disclosure of the Week
For Star Wars diehards and entertainment journalists, Mark Hamill is the Jedi gift that just keeps on giving. In an interview this week to promote the 4K Blu-ray release of The Last Jedi, Hamill let slip George Lucas' vision for Luke Skywalker in Episode IX, which will be helmed by J.J. Abrams. According to Hamill, Leia was supposed to play a big role: "I happen to know that George didn't kill Luke until the end of [Episode] 9, after he trained Leia. Which is another thread that was never played upon [in The Last Jedi]." We'll just let those little nuggets sink in.
