9 Things We Learned on the Set of 'Tag'7 of 10
Carrie Brownstein played along — but only for a day
Carrie Brownstein wanted in on the action-comedy, but she could only spare a day on set (the same day we visited, FYI). So what did the production do? She was cast as a therapist who Sable (Hannibal Buress) consults, only to have their session derailed by Callgahan, Hoagie, and Randy. As with most of the movie's non-action scenes, the actors shot the scene countless times with the jokes getting weirder with every take. Brownstein morphed into the kind of character that would make Amy Sedaris proud.
