Boston: "Being Human"
I'm not usually a fan of American remakes of perfectly good British shows, but I’m glad I gave "Being Human" a chance due to my being a sucker (no pun intended) for a tall, pale, and broody vampire (played by Sam Witwer, in this case). The series follows the lives of a ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf who happen to be roommates in Boston as they navigate both paranormal and human problems with the support of one another. The cast has great chemistry, and I highly recommend the show if you’re in need of a funny (and sometimes heart-wrenching) sci-fi binge fest. — Alicia
