- Each year, the San Jose Film Commission honors Bay Area film and video artists with a spectacular awards ceremony. The Joey's were created to recognize the creative achievements in electronic and print media. There are currently 52 categories including film, tv, video, radio, documentaries, music videos, short subjects, animation, still photography, print, interactive CDs, web sites, and much more.
