myriad of cultural, educational and entertainment activities, have positioned the festival as the a premier event for Ibero-american cinema.
The festival has grown due to the continuous support of the University of Guadalajara, the Mexican Film Institute (Imcine), the National Council for Culture and the Arts (Conaculta), the State Government of Jalisco, and the cities of Guadalajara and Zapopan.
