Snub: "The Handmaid's Tale" Has a Rough Night
It dominated last year's awards, taking advantage of an absent "Game of Thrones" to win Outstanding Drama Series and taking home several acting awards, too. But "Handmaid's Tale" had tough go of things at Monday night's show. Defending champ Elisabeth Moss lost Outstanding Actress in a Drama to Claire Foy, Joseph Fiennes dropped Supporting Actor to Peter Dinklage, and the show somehow came away without a Supporting Actress win despite having three nominees in the field. Oh yeah, and relinquished the Outstanding Drama Series crown to "Thrones," too. Now that's a lousy night.
