- The film traces the changing dynamics and the reversal of roles in a family that feels obligated to try to afford its eldest member a dignified end, even when she refuses it. Wait for Me is a story about the relationship between a mother and daughter late in their lives and permanently divided by the physical border created in the Yugoslav Wars and their relationship feelings towards the inevitability of one of them dying.

Using elements of psychodrama, she enters the role of herself in the past attempting to tackle the suppressed emotions caused by his abuse.
