- Two brothers are worried about their cow, who is foaming at the mouth. Peter also has a daunting visit to the Greens' farm. Dusty the cat has an injury, but won't be easy to help. An animal lover finds a pigeon with a deformed leg.

- Julian helps his friend and former colleague Katy with one of her sheep, who's developed an eye problem. He can see they need to operate, but the feisty ewe doesn't seem keen. Matt and his fiancee set off to adopt a puppy.
- Peter faces an emergency midnight lambing, Julian has to operate to remove his dog's tooth, Poppy the cat requires complex surgery on her badly broken leg. Peter, Julian and the Huddersfield vets meet up for a ramble on the moors.
