- In this feel good short film, Clarence Williams, a recent widower finds himself in a tough situation. After devoting over 15 years to his company, he arrives to work on to discover that he losing his job three weeks before Christmas and is desperate for a solution to fulfill his promise of providing the best Christmas ever to his two daughters (Jennifer and Kendall), in spite of them losing their mother less than a year before. Jennifer Williams is the older, wiser daughter who quickly realizes that something is different about her dad when he arrives home from work earlier than usual. After a brief conversation, Clarence confirms his daughter suspicions that he is sad because he had been let go from his job. In the middle of their conversation, Kendall Williams, the youngest daughter enters the room and begins talking about all the items that she expects to receive for Christmas. Clarence does not have the heart to tell Kendall that he is now unemployed and Christmas will be different than expected this year. Not only with it being the first Christmas without their mother but also the first Christmas without him being employed. Later that evening, Kendall enters the room once again to detail her lavish Christmas List to her older sister Jennifer. Jennifer is obviously frustrated with her younger sister self absorbed ways and quickly informs Kendall that their dad lost his job. Kendall later confronts her dad to confirm that Jennifer's statement is indeed truthful. The reality of not having a job is especially painful when he has to explain the situation to his youngest daughter, Kendall, who is spoiled beyond measures and believes that Christmas is all about gifts and material things. Fast forward to Christmas Morning - Just when Clarence thinks there is no way out, he is delighted to awake to a true Christmas Miracle. Clarence takes this valuable opportunity to remind his children of the true reason for the season which is simply being with family and not about gifts and material things.
