- Since Quebec Health minister Gaten Barette's controversial Bill 20 passed in November 2015, Quebec's fertility programs have become less available to couples seeking help in conceiving children. A new documentary on the subject explores the impact of the legislation, following producer, journalist and lawyer Erin Ashley Singer as she explores the subject while in the process of freezing her own eggs. She examines the challenges people face as Quebec policies shift in the midst of their various stages of IVF treatments. Along the way, we meet a 42 year-old woman navigating the changes while struggling to conceive; a gay couple worried the cost of IVF might now exclude them from motherhood; and a couple concerned with the fate of their frozen embryos. These hopeful parents grapple with the emotional highs and lows of their experiences, ultimately examining Quebecers' values and ideology around family planning.
- The Mile-Enders is a coming of "middle" age story about co-dependent frenemies and neighbours Lori and Adam as they navigate aging, gentrification, and the world of start-ups and dating in one of the world's most lit neighbourhoods - The Mile End.
