- After separating from his wife, the passionate hotel manager Markus Winter wants to change his mind in the magically beautiful landscape of Thailand. But his busy aunt Dorothea, a passionate amateur astrologer and successful catering entrepreneur, has bought a dream hotel on the beautiful island of Phuket that spoils its guests with comfort and Far Eastern magic. Dorothea knows only too well that Markus has the necessary talent to get the slightly ailing business back on track. Since he can't refuse his aunt anything, Markus spontaneously takes over the job of manager. This means a bitter fate for director Simon Vogler, who has always managed the lovingly furnished hotel in an exemplary manner, but has recently made a few blunders. But Markus trusts his knowledge of human nature and gives Simon another chance. A good decision - because when Markus once again has to manage a thousand things at the same time and there is no time for his daughter Leonie, who has unexpectedly arrived, Simon takes good care of her. Since the two managers pull together, the hotel soon shines again in its former glory. Besides, Markus, who doesn't show all the stress, still has an ear for the personal needs of his guests: Ariane Thermölen wants to get divorced after twelve years because her husband Jan and she have grown apart. In his sensitive way, Markus finds the right recipe for the two of them - as well as for the clumsy teacher Helen: Markus and Leonie quickly transform her into a princess who finds her great love in the handsome pop promoter Daniel. Soon everything runs like clockwork, only Simon seems depressed, although Markus has long since promised him the post of deputy director. But Simon has been at odds with his Thai daughter Suay for years and doesn't even know that he is already a grandfather. Markus has a wonderful idea.
- Markus Winter travels to Bali, to buy a luxury hotel for his Viennese aunt Dorothea von Siethoff. The owner, Franziska, however didn't yet tell her sister Maria, who wants to keep the hotel they inherited form their father. Famous Parisian chef Pierre Fontanne booked in the hotel, probably to bid against them. Markus's daughter Leonie 'Leo', which he brought along, absolutely wants to meet her idol, pop singer Alexander, who is recording an album on Bali. She teams up with a fellow fan and meet Jan, Alexander's charming, suspiciously green manager.
