Since the two managers pull together, the hotel soon shines again in its former glory. Besides, Markus, who doesn't show all the stress, still has an ear for the personal needs of his guests: Ariane Thermölen wants to get divorced after twelve years because her husband Jan and she have grown apart. In his sensitive way, Markus finds the right recipe for the two of them - as well as for the clumsy teacher Helen: Markus and Leonie quickly transform her into a princess who finds her great love in the handsome pop promoter Daniel. Soon everything runs like clockwork, only Simon seems depressed, although Markus has long since promised him the post of deputy director. But Simon has been at odds with his Thai daughter Suay for years and doesn't even know that he is already a grandfather. Markus has a wonderful idea.

The experienced Hamburg hotel manager should get an idea of whether Tina Berger is not overwhelmed with the management of the luxury hotel. The efficient Tina has worked her way up from a simple chambermaid to acting director and knows the business inside out. Tina pampers her guests, who feel like they are in paradise on the hotel's own beach, with great care and every imaginable comfort. But at the moment she is torn between work, motherly duties and a relationship crisis with her unsteady boyfriend Klaus. Tina has noticed that her managerial qualities are to be tested. Stupidly, she mistakes Pastor Stefan, the frugal winner of a competition, for Frau von Siethoff's spy and does her best to sweeten his vacation. Tina's assistant Janin takes care of him so attentively that the spark between the two soon jumps over. Markus, on the other hand, is plagued by bad luck: from the transfer to the hotel to accommodation in a broom closet, everything goes wrong. Assuming he is from the staff, Markus is even ordered to clean the pool. The discerning hotelier initially has every reason to thoroughly doubt Tina's abilities. As a professional, however, he soon recognizes her professional strengths: In fact, she has everything under control and can improvise charmingly even under the greatest stress. Markus feels more and more attracted to the impulsive woman, and Tina also falls in love with this extremely charming gentleman "Meier". But when she finds out who she is actually dealing with, even the starry sky over Mauritius cannot match the mood brighten more.

Markus's daughter Leonie 'Leo', which he brought along, absolutely wants to meet her idol, pop singer Alexander, who is recording an album on Bali. She teams up with a fellow fan and meet Jan, Alexander's charming, suspiciously green manager.

- Dr. Wendelin Winter visits daughter Alexandra's shared Hamburg student apartment. Shy, nerdy housemate Felix worries rightly when the third, music student Maike Südhoff, whom he adores despite being treated like a sweet baby brother, doesn't return from another nocturnal private cello recital, as her corpse is found by their dog on Wendelin's walks, dumped near the river Elbe. Maike's computer confirms Winter's suspicion: she paid for her studies as call-girl with exclusive escort-service "Bella Musica". One of the three 'sponsors' and regular clients is Senator (city state minister) for culture Konrad Niehaus, who found her skull-smashed in his hall after a wild night in his home attended by his playmates, judge Julius Arndt and jeweler Steven Reinbeck. While Niehaus is arrested as prime suspect, Arndt and Reinbeck are bloodily murdered. Commissioner Kliewer suspects Maike's recently jail-released brother Uwe Südhoff, but Winter looks into the madam and her surprise visitor: Clara Niehaus, whom her husband assumed on holiday in Sylt, actually in a Hamburg hotel and aware, yet supportive of his career. Alexandra finds an alarming clue in the laundry.

Businesman Hermann Lehmann ruins the holiday for himself and his wife Ursula by his hostile attitude when their daughter Meike (18) present her fiancé, fitness entrepreneur Philipp Schmitt.

Leon Groß, who gave up his German business career to start an orphanage for wild elephants, is Markus's pick to help a grieving widow pick up her life. A botanist with butterfingers is granted a gardener's job so she can afford her own investigation.

Erik flies in Malte's Hamburg ex-fiancée Susanne, a compatible heiress. Resourceful Fabian gets caught in his own white Internet lies to seduce younger and fitter Susanne.
- Markus Winter, owner of the upscale Siethoff hotel group, travels to his luxury resort in Myanmar to advance an ambitious project: the establishment of a first-class hotel management school, whereby the historic pagodas are to be carefully and respectfully integrated into the hotel complex. The architect Frank Simon, with whom Markus has worked several times, is entrusted with the conception and planning of the project. Even at the first meeting, Winter senses that his old companion is not doing well: Frank, who is otherwise so dynamic, seems erratic, unfocused and exhausted. Rescue is approaching in the form of the casual adventurer Hendrik Felden, with whom Anna can find a ride, but the spoiled city dweller and the nature-loving globetrotter have very different ideas about travel. Only gradually does the young woman develop a new view of the country and its inhabitants on the journey of several days through original villages and magical landscapes. At the same time, her feelings for Hendrik get stronger and stronger. Her groom Georg makes the acquaintance of the down-to-earth, slightly awkward vacationer Maria Schneider. Actually, the beautician from Bavaria had traveled to the Far East to finally relax completely. But now she is actively helping Georg prepare for the wedding party. There is no question that this encounter will not be without amorous consequences.
