Atlanta: Cancer Attack (2022)
Season 3, Episode 5

Cancer Attack
10 February 2023
Wiley is a piece of Al's self that has been buried beneath his Paperboi persona, thus a ghost.

Wiley's appearance is exactly how Al sees that part of himself. Al is insecure which is the real reason why hes so worried about his phone. Al's real art is on that phone... "is there something special about this phone?.". Wiley starts off saying things like "we all have to die sometime.

Maybe my end should come at the hands of Paperboj" (Wiley/Al vs Paperboi). When Wiley says "were you told as a child you talk white.. must have made you feel separate. Its interesting when people aren't allowed in the universal group" he is throwing shade at Earn and Paperboi while also hinting at his metaphysical nature. He's saying that Paperboi is hiding the real Al.. so that part of him does not exist in this universe. Earn looked past Al during his search for community and friendship and now money. Earlier in the episode Al tries to start a conversation with Earn but Earn is too busy to talk unless Paperboi has a question about ginger beer. So everything Wiley been saying has struck multiple chords in Paperboi.

When Wiley looks PB in the eyes and says "I don't think you'll get what you want that way" he finally understands and tells himself (Wiley) a secret about his creative block. Al "was never really into rapping". Everything is then confirmed with the birthdays and Wiley/Al lyrics which is why PB is in shock and lets Wiley leave "you were my mirror my best friend we used to be one and the same. I swear i saw the other side i never wanted less because i don't want more of vou". I think it means he threwaway the real part of himself that he doesnt like and now that part of him is "on the other side" Veg. The idea of twin flame/soul fits as a replacement for this "self theory" too but based on this season I think Wiley is the ghost of Al's self.

They Already Had Much More 'REFINED' Movies Before
8 September 2022
Just watched #ThorLoveAndThunder . The movie is all over the place. Natalie Portman has always been great actress, but her chemistry with Hemsworth is really bad. The dialogue is silly. The editing is choppy. It's a mess. The worst thing was "THE TOO MUCH HILARIOS" It's down there with Captain Marvel, Eternals, Thor 2, Captain America and Black Widow as my least favourite Marvel movies.

I really thought it had potential. I didn't mind Jane Foster wielding Mjolnir as much as I thought; it's explained well.

But as the Marvel movies are progressing, you begin to question if there are stakes at all. What is there to lose? How do you define 'danger'? Anyone can do anything now and the rules we've been establishing for the past decade are now irrelevant. It's quite annoying.

Also, that being said, the movie is still watchable. Marvel's worst movies are still worth watching; they're still fun. It's just they had much more 'refined' movies before.

Just Watch It

I actually really like it. A simple premise that's very well executed. It has a slow start but once it has the pace it doesn't disappoint you at all .

S03 Review
12 June 2022
The first thing to note is that much like the previous season, this one felt a bit too short. While the first season had sixteen episodes, this season only had nine. Since the episodes' running time ranges anywhere from six to twenty minutes, watching Season 3 can sadly feel like a fleeting experience if you were binging it. It is still long enough to scratch the itch that a year's hiatus left by the last season, but leaves the viewer wanting more.

However, what Season 3 lacks in quantity, it more than makes up in quality. With a couple of exceptions - Night of the Mini Dead is literally a zombie movie on fast forward - the season is absolutely fantastic. Whether it is a welcome return to the show's original season in Three Robots: Exit Strategies or a weapon of mass destruction with the personality of a puppy in the episode Kill Team Kill, fans of the show will undoubtedly find something to enjoy.

You Don't Want To Miss The Imax Experience.
6 June 2022
'Top Gun: Maverick' Is the best blockbuster action movie since 'Mission Impossible: Fallout'. Wonderful!! You don't want to miss this one, especially on the big screen.

There is no doubt that Tom Cruise is the biggest movie star specializing in action movies and blockbusters in Hollywood history.

very respectful work
3 June 2022
This is the second time that I cry about a work produced by Apple TV+ that's impressive

The introduction is one of the most beautiful musical introductions I have seen in a long time. I do not remember ever skipping it. I always watch it, in appearance and visually, it was wonderful and also sheds light on many of the events that we are watching in a distinctive and innovative way.

There were some twists and turns in the middle of the action and a slowdown in the action but later on you will know that it wasn't directed by Ben Stiller. He did great in directing the episodes and how he was able to convey the characters' emotions and their ups and downs. It was very good.

Big Development In The Events

It was a great episode, I loved the beautiful humor in the scenes.

I loved Stephen Fry (Ian Gibbons) acting and sympathized with him.

I loved the references to the other companies especially the one about Twitter.

Out Of This World
22 May 2022
Behind the incredibly imaginative visuals and the 'out of this world' editing, is a movie that knows what it wants to say/be from the beginning. It never loses its way. All this spectacle wraps beautifully around a simple yet touching story.

The Northman (2022)

The Northman
17 May 2022
The Oscars are barely a month behind us, and we already have two Oscar-worthy potential contenders for next year.

Robert Eggers new film "The Northman" is a revenge thriller set in the era of the Vikings. This is Eggers' biggest budget yet, and he has used every penny wisely. The realism he has created immerses you into this brutal world, but he also incorporates his signature visuals, the tripper ones used in just the right way to make them work seamlessly with the world he has built.

Performances are excellent across the board, with Alexander Skarsgård giving an incredibly physical yet vulnerable performance and Nicole Kidman delivering one of her best as well.

There are two big obstacles "The Northman" has to overcome. First is the early release. Will this be remembered in nine months, Second is the graphic violence Eggers does not shy away from showing the brutality of this world. Will that turn off too many voters? Of course, I don't hope so.

If it can overcome both of these, "The Northman" could see nominations for acting, director, screenplay, cinematography, production design, sound, and even Best Picture.

A movie you shouldn't watch twice
8 May 2022
I don't want to give any spoliers but one scene which really stuck me was Lee and Patrick are walking & twice they miss where they have parked the car. Now what's the big deal. It has happened with you and me. But you are cool with it & get more involved in film as it is realism, something which has potential to happen with things being set up already in film.

And cherry on the cake, it serves so beautifully as a metaphor to the context of the story.

There is a certain tension between Lee and Pat & you will wonder where and how will it end and it does beautifully and something stays with you while you finish the film, is dialogue by Lee, "I can't beat it.... I can't beat it".

Yes you can't all the time as much as you try and want to, you need to surrender to the reality and your current psyche to survive another day until you are able to beat it. That's in short is Life.

What A Jim Carrey
7 May 2022
-A really good movie, the story was very good compared with the first part, I loved the references, especially that one about Vin Diesel and The Rock, CGI was very nice, songs, vocal performance, etc.

-For a moment I thought Jim Carrey was improvising in the movie, It can't be something else.

It's worth your time.

Good Watch
26 April 2022
  • shots from crazy impossible camera angles look insane.

  • tension.

  • nice jokes are thrown here and there.

  • even w/ quick cuts you can tell what's going on.

  • maniac Gyllenhaal.

  • enjoyed this WAY more than I should've.

  • some scenarios felt too contrived.

  • some twists I didn't see coming in the end.

Windfall (2022)

It could be much better.
23 April 2022
While Windfall certainly has its flaws, there is a lot to admire and appreciate. The score by Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans is striking and bombastic and the cinematography by Isiah Donté Lee is gorgeous and well shot. There are some comedic moments that work well, specifically a scene involving the characters deliberating about the amount of money that the burglar should ask for. Yet ultimately the film does a disservice to itself by not fleshing out all of its characters and its ability to land the ending. However, with a lot of mediocre Netflix offerings, you could do a lot worse than spending 90 minutes with Windfall.

Machinery Of Torment
21 April 2022
The movie tackles not only heavy metal but the influence bullies have on an individual and the trial of fitting in. The film isn't saying that starting a band will instantly make anyone have a lifelong connection with others but it is speaking out about giving one's all towards something they love and being able to accept change - good or bad.

Metal Lords is led by the struggling friendship between rough around the edges Hunter and his BFF Kevin. Having lost his mother recently, Hunter is struggling with fitting in and decides that heavy metal is the only way to solve all his troubles.

way too long

I fell asleep a few times, but I think they tried to cram too many characters in at once. Not enough explosions for my taste, though, I'm a huge fan of the Christian Bale movies.

I Loved How They Respect The Mind Of The Viewers.
17 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This movie talks about the threat to Earth by a devastating comet from the perspective of two of the scientists who discovered it. But the film doesn't deal with the attempt to prevent this disaster as much as it deals with how people receive this shocking news, and that's what we can describe as worse than the disaster.

The black satirical comedy covered the general character of the film, with clever writing full of situations that make us carefully reconsider our days, actions, reactions, and motivations.

Director Adam Mackay for the third time confirms his unique style to assert his superiority in the genre of films, this person loves to create visual chaos that appears in the end in an eye-catching and very funny comedy.

The beauty of this film is that the psychological changes in the characters were felt without being directly revealed, as well as the many indirect messages that the work presents and indicate respect and appreciation for the minds of the viewers.

Eternals (2021)

Should have been a Disney show.
7 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This doesn't even feel like a recent MARVEL movie - comes across as slapdash and hastily put together, and the plot doesn't make sense. This business with THENA getting out of control over and over, they should have dealt with that, she's a danger to the whole team. A spicier take would have been: What's so special about humanity that we should save them? They're ruining the planet and the people they tend to put in charge are just the worst. We're letting the Celestial out, and then the Avengers have to stop the Eternals. By the way, i downloaded this illegally, and I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in the theater.

A mesmerising heroine for our times
4 April 2022
'The Worst Person in the World' is the type of movie that gets better the more you contemplate about it. It accurately depicts the chronic indecisiveness of millennials and their discomfort with the idea that we're all running out of time. Well thought and well done.

Slightly reminded me of Frances Ha; which is a definite.

MR, I Was Born For It
19 February 2022
This is a very good movie. The plot happens very slow but it makes sense. The characters have a good develop and the actors made a good job. The moral teaches us how arrogants and bad persons we can be and the world will pay us with the same coin.

Bravo Netflix
18 February 2022
I just finished watching "Munich - The Edge Of War", the movie is very good, I watched it and replayed every part of the movie very close.

The movie contains a lot of sad scenes, and I don't want to spoil the details of the movie, but many scenes bring tears to my eyes.

I'll watch it a few times because the first time I watched it to focus on the content and checking the detail.

Co-star Janis Neuner his picture was very good.

In my opinion, the movie is very good and interesting because I usually like world history too, so the movie won my sympathy from the beginning, this new year, everyone who has time should go to Netflix to see the movie.

What an amazing performance
17 February 2022
Even though I don't live in the states and tragedies like mass shootings are not usual where I live, this movie was overwhelming to watch at times.

Four actors dissolve into their characters and for a moment you no longer see a performance, it's almost as watching a bunch people trying to figure out how to move past the most terrible tragedy of their lives in real time.

And my face was completely wet within the first 30 minutes and stayed that way till the end.

As Entertainment Weekly said: This is an urgent and necessary movie.

17 February 2022
Actually.

Here's a more brutal review of Inventing Anna.

It's trash. Long winded trash with stupid accent.

Netflix trying to glamorize a fraudster who essentially didn't pay hotel bills. C'mon now.

Not worth your time. Avoid.

A beautiful, different and very smart drama film that takes you philosophical dimensions about the future of the human relationship with technolog.

Joaquin embodied the character and it's complexities brilliantly, wonderful directing, very beautiful colors, a journey full of feelings and classy music.

The movie is full of emotion and great performance by the actors. He has one of the most wonderful stories that I have ever seen and one of the few films that I did not expect anything from and surprised me, even Joaquin was perfect for the role and increased the aesthetics of the film.
