Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (2019)

Cheesy, empty, dull.... and deeply pretentious.

The movie wants to be bigger and better, but never fixes the trilogy. It feels like a poorly made superhero movie with failed attempts at comedy, mixed with emotionally manipulative star wars nostalgia.

The trilogy started fine, but has become a disappointing, deeply unsatisfying, desperate, disastrous, and pretentious set of films with little if any real value. This didn't feel like star wars and never earned the title.

Episode 9 loves to give characters obnoxious and shiny new abilities, while still claiming to be a valid Star Wars sequel. I could never connect with or care about the new characters. The Last Jedi and Ruin Johnson ruined what was started, and one movie would never be able to clean up that mess.

Stranger Things (2016–2025)

Season 3 Review... Yikes.

I expected better than the mess that season three was. It could have been so much better.

This should have been about the kids versus the world. Not the kids versus each other. I hate how they used Hopper to create unnatural conflict between the kids. Perfect way to ruin the character who used to be my favorite.

Dividing the groups in genders was very cringy. Max and eleven should never be with each other. Max is a horrible character and never had any chemistry with Eleven.

"There's more to life than stupid boys" -Max the mad maxi pad

That was max's way of "enlightening" Eleven.

Constant and Mindless banter and bickering involving Dustin with Erica, and Steve with Robin.

My little pony conversations? Seriously? And the Constant bickering between Erica and Dustin about who is more of a nerd.

This horrible dialogue took me out of the moment and ruined all suspense.

Dustin singing never ending story was horrible. It was so unbearably out of place and long. The song isn't the problem, the problem is that the song felt like it would never end, and was so poorly placed. Singing while people are dying is what this cheesy disaster of a show has turned into.

I can't believe anybody actually liked this season after seeing that!

This show was supposed to be a deep science fiction drama series. Not a useless cringe-inducing and shallow sitcom.

Having Robin come out as a lesbian was so unnecessary. Why not put effort into making the dialogue serve the plot instead of showing that you're culturally sensitive? Stop trying to use an 80's themed show to fix the past or something. Just stop. Robin never fit in with the other characters anyway.

Why are the Russians there and trying to open the gate?

Why was this season a useless redo of what we already saw except with more useless bickering and cheesy Russian costumes?

Maybe we are expected to watch season 4 to find out, but I have lost all interest.

Stranger Things: Chapter Five: The Flayed (2019) Season 3, Episode 5

Fine episode, with cringe dialoge that remains unchanged :)

Decent episode, but the dialogue in this episode (and season) has reached a new level of cringe. Including discussions like,

Mike: Hey.

Eleven: Hi.

Mike: Does your species like M and M's?

The Mike and Eleven interactions have been at a new level of ridiculousness and mediocrity ;)

Good action scenes, though.

Toy Story 4 (2019)

Not a horrible film, but mistakes were made.

I didn't hate the movie, but I am frustrated with it... mistakes were made.... but it was still much better than it could have been.

The bad:

This movie had human characters everywhere.... and the humans in this movie act like they each have an IQ of 40.

The dialogue. Was. Horrific. This Toy Story movie was contaminated with horrific modern-kid-movie dialogue that doesn't measure up to any other Toy Story movie.

At least 40% of the dialogue was entirely unnecessary. Dumb and unfunny jokes are used dozens of times and mostly fail miserably each and every time. The same jokes are used over and over again and were never funny in the first place. The dialogue should have been written to support the plot instead.

New and worthless characters steal screen time from far more valuable classic characters....

The good: Bo Peep turned out to be a very well written character. Her and Woody are by far the most engaging characters and some of the only truly enjoyable characters in the movie.

But.... Do not get your hopes up, and you still might be able to enjoy this movie for what it is.

Easily entertained child-minded individuals may love this movie, but genuine fans of the Toy Story animated films will be less satisfied.

The original Toy story was a genuine work of animated art. But, Toy Story 4 was unbelievably chaotic and directionless, with truly unnecessary and annoying dialogue throughout the film.... and some really annoying characters try way to hard to be funny and fail :)

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Thanos should snap all of the 10/10 reviews out of existence....

Cheesy humor, extremely overrated, And not enough Thanos ;)

Way to many jokes destroying tension and suspense...

First hour and a half should have lasted 40 minutes.

Thanos is by far the best character in the movie, who barely got any screen time. Why not give the "villain" some actual screen time?

Thanos isn't even a bad guy. He wanted to make the universe better.... even if he never had the right plan.

Also, When Thanos snapped, half the universe died painlessly. No suffering.

Fat jokes about Thor.... that Got VERY old very quickly.

Captain Marvel should have been killed by thanos. That would have been amazing!!!

Thanos throwing Captain Marvel was by far the greatest moment of the movie.

Falling back on Time travel is a pathetic way to get the attention of an audience and to save the universe. We've just seen this 1000 times.

It was just Painfully overrated.

Should have been a 2 hour 15 minute movie overall.

Thanos was really the only good character.... because he didn't try to make awkward and cheesy jokes every 10 seconds like every other Avenger lunatic.

Iron man snapped thanos out of existence..... That means he's not much nicer than Thanos is.

Not the worst movie, just incredibly overrated. It was average, and I'm just being realistic.

And about an hour to long.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

Overrated, bad music...

Terrible music. Entirely unnecessary, useless and annoying music. Ruined the movie. Average movie overall, and incredibly overrated. The worthless and mindless music started blarring at least 10-15 times throughout the film. Very shallow and annoying rap nonsense. Can't deal with it. I have never seen a movie with less fitting music.

Way to many spider "men", including unbelieveably cheesy and annoying unfitting representations of the character.

It was just a super cheesy movie, and it was entirely unneeded and directionless.

Dumbo (2019)

Fun, but Kinda Dumb(o)

Fun flying elephant scenes.

Very cheesy, and hyperactive dialogue.

Unnecessary, and contrived subplots, including a little girl who "wants to be valued for her mind", and uses "the scientific method". Cool, but I came to see talking elephants... who never ended up talking. Also including random man with one arm, for some reason.

Human characters mostly just distracted from the animals and plot.

Fat woman sings random song, fat woman beats up body guards, little girl invents science, random black guy is the strongest man in the world (who was a super cool character) and elephants get set free.

Fun, kinda annoying, and unsatisfying.

The Walking Dead: The Calm Before (2019) Season 9, Episode 15

Exciting...

We all know it was probably one of the most exciting episodes of the season. But I have some things to say about it....

Deaths...

Enid- She was always one of the worst characters since season 6. She failed to "just survive somehow". She was always whiny and annoying, but was worse in other seasons. Happy to see her go overall.

Henry- His death ruined potential character development. He was being developed throughout the entire season more than most other characters, but all of that is gone now. He isn't even a great character but had more importance than many others at this point.

Tara- She had to go. I've been waiting for her to die since season 6 or earlier. Annoying, slow, and got chubby somehow even after a societal collapse and a zombie apocalypse.



Who could/should have died:

Rosita or even Siddiq should have died, instead of Henry. Now Gabriel and Siddiq will still have a weird three way relationship with Rosita.

The Walking Dead: Guardians (2019) Season 9, Episode 12

Good, But...

I thought it was a good episode overall, but some things need to be addressed.....

Are Gabriel, Rosita, and Siddiq going to have a threesome now or something?

Why does Judith need to have the most unbearably annoying voice in the history of television?

And I think we need to finally find out what happened during the time jump. I'm tired of seeing emotional conversations related to the time skip without finding out what happened during those years.

Just had to say those things....

A Quiet Place (2018)

Mostly Boring time, pretty bad place....

Some suspenseful scenes, but they were created by horribly irresponsible decisions. Short and a bit shallow, the movie ended abruptly without us getting enough out of the interesting and potentially effective concept.

The bad:

Why would you let your kid walk 40-50 feet behind you with a noisy toy you never even saw him have? What a joke......

The pregnancy scene was somewhat intense, and she wanted that. Learn about what causes pregnancy please. Also, If a kid dies in a horrific world, I won't respect you if force another one in the same situation.... Ya know? I didn't care about the mom at all!

Delusional parents of 4 (one dead) questions whether or not she can protect her kids when talking to the father.... well, maybe you shouldn't have had another one after you realized how horrific the world is!!

Why not check first to see if there is a nail on your steps.... you have lived there a while, right? You are paranoid about every little sound, so utilize your eyes as well.

The ending was lame. Some lady has a gun in her hands... amazing.



The good:

One funny and suspenseful moment was when the crazy old guy decided to scream as loud as he could.... hilarious.

Some emotionally intense scenes in the movie. The father died after screaming to save his kids.

The monsters looked interesting, and the ears were portrayed in a fairly interesting way.

Familial bonding, emotional intensity when deaf girl started hearing.

Bird Box (2018)

Unsatisfying and Plain Junk

Horrible backwards story-telling format. Made the film Pathetically predictable and disappointing.

Starts with Annoying and useless banter between a boring artsy woman, and a nagging sister who won't shut up. Boring artsy chick is pregnant (at a ridiculous age for a 54 year old Sandra Bullock).

Luckily the Annoying sister dies.

Tall guy likes random girl. She doesn't like him. But... Random girl has sex with tall guy 5 minutes later.

The double birth scene was gross, annoying, and a terribly cheap way to add suspense.

I don't get the movie. I guess I learned that birds are special, and monsters that we never see can easily be defeated!

I can't believe this movie is popular. Sandra Bullock is the most overrated actress of all time. She's just an old lady with a dull monotone voice. Worst person for the role.

Halloween II (2009)

A Valueless Creation

Get ready to see Michael Myers as a horrifyingly hairy, giant grunting bear in this movie... With way to many Unicorn hallucinations, and a lot of random swearing. Without a quality storyline. This movie pathetically attempts to validate itself as a Halloween movie by including Danielle Harris from Halloween 4 and 5 as Annie. But, a movie without a quality storyline will always fail. Shockingly, Busta Rhymes was more fun to watch in Halloween Resurrection than anything in this movie.

Halloween (I) (2018)

A Disappointing Mess

The easily entertained movie goers will be perfectly happy with this disaster of a film. But, people who are looking for a quality storyline or a finished movie with a clear direction will be extremely disappointed.

I mostly enjoyed the first half of the movie. The ending was the worst and most pathetic section, which ruined a lot of potential. Do not expect the ending to be better than Halloween Resurrection.

The film attempts to be original using an interesting twist, but timidly chooses a plain and boring formula for most of the film. The pathetic attempts at humor were a disaster, and made the film very messy.

The film doesn't do much to separate itself from the other sequels. It fails to be unique due to imitating other sequels which are supposed to be ignored. It felt like a lame remake instead of being a new and interesting sequel.

Don't get your hopes up. You will need to ignore the unfinished nature of this film in order to enjoy it. The trailer showed images that were never in the movie. Seems like very messy editing.

Halloween Resurrection was also bad, but the new movie was almost like The Last Jedi of Halloween films. But, an easily entertained popcorn muncher will enjoy it. It was unoriginal, uncomfortably unfunny, and unfinished. The soundtrack and Jamie Lee Curtis were the best things about this film. Just do not get your hopes up.
