The Unforgivable (2021)
It should be named "The Unresolved"
Another movie that had so much potential, but the ending was ruined by being open to interpretation. Just close the movie out okay? If I wanted to use my imagination about how it could have found closure, then I wouldn't be watching a movie.
Gravitation (1999)
A must watch even 22 years later
I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but I was glad I did it in the end. It was an engaging story from start to finish. I only knocked off some stars for the outdated and problematic portrayal/tropes of gay men. I recognize it for what it is though and the time I which it was released. I still enjoyed it and was rooting for the main characters the entire time! A definite watch no matter your orientation.
Yuri!!! On Ice (2016)
Wow, shocked how much I love this
Let me start off by saying that I say these things while being neither a sports/figure skating fan or gay. This anime just blew me away. Beautiful animation and beautiful love story. 10/10 would recommend! The only part that slowed me was some of the actual skating dances, but I believe that has more to do with my general dislike and boredom of sporting events.
Plunderer (2020)
Stick with it; I beg you!
I agree with other posters. I turned this on just to pass time while I was engaged with other things (crafting). I thought it was kind of okay, a little sexual, a little weird at first. But holy cr*p episode 12 happened and then it was a roller coaster of emotion. 10/10 stick with it! It's amazing! I can't wait for season 2!!
Private Life (2018)
Meh
How did this get such good reviews? It was okay until the end where it literally just drops off. I don't want a movie where I have to imagine the ending. Give me a ending! If I wanted to imagine what happens in the entire sorry, I'd write a book.
