Laal Singh Chaddha (2022)
Controversies aside, Amir Khan was disappointing.
Viewer expectations are high especially if you are remaking a Hollywood hit and that too by taking six long years to make it. First half was very touching and raised the bar of movies but post that it left with a major disappointment.
If you had seen Dhoom 3, then Samar is what AK tries to act throughout. It is high time roles of young characters should be played by young only.
Lupin (2021)
Overhyped. Lots of flaws. Good Acting. Poorly witten
Lupin is a typical example of how not to plot or direct heist shows.
I watched both seasons because of the hype surrounding it but was highly disappointed because of the logical flaws in the plot and the script.
ZeroZeroZero (2019)
Thriller which spreads across continents and families
Such series make Amazon Prime the best. Starts as an innocent drug busting operation and than it grips you to experience some of the most powerful mafia families and wannabe big leagues spanning across multiple continents and cultures.
Also shows you the brutal realities of the developing and under-developed world.... Money and Survival.
Bodyguard (2018)
You won't take a break till you finish it
One of the best thriller series I have watched lately. It grips you right from the first 20 minutes till the end.
Lots of twists and turns and no matter how much you try to calculate what is going to happen next, the show shocks you each time.
Bhaag Beanie Bhaag (2020)
Vulgar and begs for laughs
Another disaster by Netflix. The series is supposed to me a comedy. A comedy script makes the audience laugh not beds the audience to laugh. More of a copy paste of Ms. Maisel on Prime. The least I wanted Netflix was to become a copy-cat.
Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives (2020)
Desperate 'Hypocritic' Housewives
Four women trying their best to show how they are the pillars behind their successful husbands and children. Soon the conversation moves to the best plastic surgeries and botox operations to prevent aging.
Khaali Peeli (2020)
Waste of time and money
Had a lot of expectations considering the trailer and media saying it will be a fast paced action comedy. it was the same disappointing story of 90s and they expect us to get thrills and laugh on the same scripts in 2020s.
Sadak 2 (2020)
Highly disappointed
Having seen and liked the original Sadak, i expected this to be of the upper leagues. Overall an average story line with mediocre acting. I have seen Alia do much better in other movies. Just a half hearted effort. All the 'Baba' thing just failed to engage me for long.
Devils (2020)
Simply Brilliant!
Warning: You will need to have some background of Finance before watching it or do research on finance terminology while watching it.
For others this will be thrilling. The progress from dollar economy, to dollar-euro duopoly and finally crypto is week marked in the series.
It is up to you to decide whether bankers are Gods or devils.
Hero (2015)
I still hate myself for attempting to watch it
Looks like a desperate attempt to finish a movie which the producers and the director had concluded was not worth making at the first place.
Actors especially Sooraj, Tigmashu & Athiya tried very hard to act but they failed miserably in convincing the audience that they can change expressions depending on the scenes.
Mrs. Serial Killer (2020)
Netflix has lost its value for money
It was shocking that such a movie was promoted aggressively by Netflix.
It was utterly boring and fake. Giving one point only for Manoj Vajpayee.
Omit him from the movie, it deserves a zero.
Bombay Velvet (2015)
A creative disaster masquerading as a movie
Please kill me for expecting average, if not above average, performance from the star cast and the star director. This film falls short of a strong story and fueled by mediocre performances. Wasted my time. Repenting it.
How to Be a Billionaire (2014)
The title is highly misleading
It is just talking about wealthy people's lifestyles. It shows what some billionaires possess and self praise by them. The title is misleading.
Rangbaaz (2018)
Acting and direction at its best
Well while most of the Indians know about the dreaded gangster Shri Prasad Shukla (Shiv Prasad Shukla in the series) and movies were made on him before, this series is different. It is not a story but a biopic.
Definitely a good watch.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019)
Spectacular!
The history of 'Rani of Jhansi' is actually brought to life by this movie. You will feel pride to see an Indian queen taking on the most powerful empire of the world.
Kangana does great justice to the role. Great direction.
Must watch for every Indian and every human who respects courage and sacrifice.
Chintu Ka Birthday (2020)
Sweet movie showcasing deep family bonding & values
Imagine you are a foreigner stuck in a war between two nations. You are not on any side but both sides look at you as friends and sometimes with suspect.
Shows deep nonnegotiable bond of love among family members enriched with Indian values.
Brilliant script, direction and acting. Vinay Pathak rules throughout. Also watch out for Bisha Chaturvedi and you will love her. Also brilliant performances by Tillotama Shome, Seema Pahwa and the entire team.
Worth watching, you will never know what you missed in life.
The Raikar Case (2020)
Binge watch.... gripping till the last minute
After watching this series and Asur, I have realised one thing that Indian web series are highly underrated.
This is a unique story revolving around a murder which took place in the Naik Raikar family.
It has suspense right from the beginning till last episode, full of chilling thrills, shocks and twists. You just can't judge the flow.
Must watch for all binge thriller lovers.
Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side (2020)
You wont stop watching once you begin
I just happened to start this series with a casual attitude and not much expectations but that's where you get addicted.
Once you start it, you will not be able to take a break.
Binged watched all 8 episodes of the season.
Brilliant story, direction and execution.
This series proves Indians can actually make a brilliant series without unnecessary abuses and sex scenes.
The best Indian series I have watched till date.
The Forgotten Army - Azaadi ke liye (2020)
Must watch - History which was never told in detail before
Brilliant depiction of the history of the INA. Gives you many perspectives of the forces instrumental in getting freedom to India.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020)
Great Movie, Must Watch!
If possible watch in 3D. Tanhaji is the story of a Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusure who was known as Sinh meaning Lion. Ajay Devgan does justice to the role of this legend. The surprise was Saif Ali Khan who brilliantly acted as an antagonist.
Fighting scenes and video graphics are very captivating. Story is well told and makes you feel proud of being an Indian.
For those who want to understand the might of India and particularly the Marathas surely should watch with family.

Section 375 (2019)
Engaging from start to end
Eye opening. Must watch legal thriller.
Akshay Khanna is one of the most under rated actors.
Terrific roles by the artists and excellent direction.
PM Narendra Modi (2019)
Good Movie
Overall movie was good. Gave insights to life of Indian PM Modi.
Vivek's acting could have been better especially after seeing him in Raktacharitra.
Balanced and a family movie.
Rating for their efforts in inspiring nationalism.
Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter (2013)
See the greatest war from German eyes
This series actually takes us into the WWII and makes us feel how it was to experience that war being a German.
Badla (2019)
Best of Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee & Amrita Singh
First let me give credits to the original movie The Invisible Guest (2016). Awesome remake.
This movie keeps you hooked to the screen till the last second. Brilliant thriller and fantastic performances by every character.
