Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2023– )

More magic is needed to appropriate the novel.

The next harry potter. Not really. The percy jackson novels will always be my harry potter but the series is just missing the magic required to create the world. Everything is nearly there but not hitting the mark. The cast is good but better world building can be there. Not just for the sake of exposition but also for the sake of taking us in the story. The choice of creating the look which is real and same to our world is a bold choice but the magic is getting lost because we don't overwhelm it when we enter into another world. The characters starts to feel fake when you don't give them time to sit in their world and let them relax for a while. Too much perfection sometimes doesn't serve the story. Also the acting can be more better in a way that I don't see them breaking or getting overwhelmed with what they have just encountered in their quest. Too much rushed. They should sometimes just sit and wander. I want more of that too.

His Dark Materials (2019–2022)

Breaking Bad, Malcolm in the middle and now this. The only 3 shows. Maybe silicon valley too but it does not carry such emotional weight with it to justify itself but still.

After watching around a hell lot of shows I can confidently say that ending a story while keeping it interesting till the end is way harder than people think it is. How I feel after this? Let me think.... A sense of wholeness, catharsis and an optimistic feeling to look ahead in my life. Hbo is damn good. I wish they hadn't cancelled Lovecraft Country.

The acting, conviction of CGI animals with beautiful acting, such elaborative character arcs, beautiful world building, Idk man if the writer of the novel was a genius or this tv show's team just knows strings of fantasy and magic. Whatever it is you have succeeded where most of the other shows have failed. The first complete fantasy tv show.

Anand (1971)

A movie which shows true tradition of India, most of the movies today are made out of liberal minds. There is a reason our grandparents don't watch those, most of the movies are over sexualized and contradictory to tradition of India where we were taught to look other women as our sisters. Aside from this, the movie is very cheerful as well as sorrowful as our life is. The acting's great and cinematography may feel goofy sometimes but the movie is world class.

I don't know what to say. It was after so many movies that this movie gave me a higher feeling(maybe cathartic). The music, cinematography, expressions were just too good. Those who are saying this movie was slow needs to understand these are kind of movies that are close to reality than every other one out there, there was also one named The Ship Of Thesis which is similar to this and will be labelled slow as I also labeled it slow but one day I decided to watch it and ou boy was I not surprised. For such people all I can say Is you should gain some patience or go watch King Arthur Legend of Sword.

I rarely stumble upon these gems. Malena is a beautiful movie. From the starting of a movie it uses the camera angles intelligently. The tone and the era gives the movie a distinctive but subtle and beautiful tone. We get to see the story from Renato's perspective. This movie is an emotional roller coaster with the harsh reality of this world captured beautifully on a camera.,

This movie for me was better than infinity war in many ways. People are celebrating infinity war as a genius movie but it was the event that was crucial. The movie was bad. I mean who jokes around when a massive threat comes to earth. The movie was like porridge and for that i was skeptic for this one(other than that the movie was fine but i will say its overrated) ant man and the wasp is quite good. Some people only hate it only they expect it to be something that this isn't.

You will be mesmerized after watching it. The acting is superb and the visuals are beautiful as well as the beasts. I think harry potter is the only series that's still going good and not disappointed me like potc(what happened to penelope cruz), dceu(bvs was masterpiece), marvel (antman 2 was good). Nonetheless this movie is very good as i just returned from cinema and wrote down this review.

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

I know we did not expect this. We want to see more jedis and fanstasy stuff. I watched it and its good enough. It is something new from this universe and after watching this movie it will take some to time to digest it. But then you may feel that it is pretty good but the george lucas movies were better.

This movie is amazing. If you have average understanding of art then you should watch it for sure. Watch it when you get bored by mainstream entertainment(for those with less patience)

First thing I want to mention is the film's cinematography. It's top notch. And man this movie will get you thinking, the plot is also unpredictable and acting is very fine. You should watch it if you want to see something real and thought provoking.

This is one of the best animated series for childrens especially. Those parents who says it is too dark don't know how world works. This series was the first one that i saw was so diverse and intelligent. Well today the parents wishes have been heard and now they have converted ben 10 to a rainbow freak show with lego aliens(i mean really) today money comes first then anyhting. This show taught me reality and creativity with some other shows included. But, now they are impersonating sweet dishes which are dancing around in sparkle and colourful worlds. There are literally no good cartoons right now as there were back then.

When i was a kid i saw hulk, spiderman and iron man 1 and i was like these movies are great but today, marvel has become a joke, these movies are great fun but its just that, mceu doesn't connect properly due to their profit deriveted motive(comedy and action). I find xmen series far better than mceu. Keeping aside that, lets talk about bvs(ultimate edition). You should probably watch that only because you know its a complete version. The problem that why people usually dislike these kind of movies is that they make you think deep. And of course many people are not so well at it. You need to keep your focus on the movie throughout the time thats when you understand it. Basically, this film is not just about the stuff on the surface, it also is more asthetic and philosphical. And if you don't like the movie its fine, you still can watch xmen series and dc animated movies. Gosh i wanted to see the 5 movies. Btw, Jl was the biggest disappointment for me in history of cinema.
