Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Very pleasantly surprised
I finished the film and immediately had to write a review, enjoyed it so much. I'm a ghostbusters fan and my family aren't that fused, but i have to say we all enjoyed it immensely. And such a touching tribute to Harold Remis.
The Orville (2017)
Great fun
I had never heard of this show until I was recommended it on Disney+ but I'm so glad I was.
I've been having a good binge and can't wait until series 3 comes out. Best thing I've watched in a long time.
Awake (2021)
Waiting for something to happen
I spent the whole film waiting for a climax, explanation or conclusion that never came.
Army of the Dead (2021)
Don't expect too much
I thought the montage at the beginning was the best part of the film.
Lost (2004)
So much better second time round.
During the lockdown, we had heaps of time so thought it was a perfect time to binge on an old favourite. Amazon Prime is a godsend, don't need to wait a week between episodes like first time round and the x-ray feature really shows how much time and effort they put into it.
Almost finished the whole thing, I hope the ending makes more sense this time.
Chernobyl (2019)
Best series I've seen in a long while
Very impressed, and i've been recommending it to everyone. I was haunted by episode 3.
More shows like this please.
Mother! (2017)
I didn't get it
I know it's good for a film to make you question things. But the question I asked myself was 'what was that all about?'.
Girls Trip (2017)
A few good laughs
I got a real 'Sex And The City' vibe from this film. Considering they didn't have 6 seasons to build up the characters, I think they've done really well. I don't know how many takes they must have gone through with Dina at the breakfast table, but I couldn't stop laughing.
If you do decide to watch the film, pay close attention to Queen Latifah's voice. It's divine, I could listen to it all day.
Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)
I really enjoyed this film
A perfect Fri/Sat night action film. It won't change your life, it won't win an Oscar and if you watch it you won't regret it.
Get Out (2017)
It was ok
If it's supposed to be a horror, it wasn't scary.
If it's supposed to be a comedy, it wasn't funny.
It wasn't a bad film, but I wouldn't recommend it or watch it again. A bit 'meh' for me.
