Forrest Gump (1994)

One of the best film i ever watched.

I usually avoid Drama, Romantic genre films since in this type of films, the acting (characters) and the story is everything. I initially watched some films and after a while the stories kinda seems repeating same old stuff and hence i started to ignore them. I also avoided this film for a year or so for another reason, people kept saying about this film so much that i thought it to be overrated or something After watching it i can say that, this film is different. I don't know what they did right but it bought tears in my eyes and for me to cry over a film, the characters and story have to be more than brilliant, it certainly doesn't have to real but feel and connect more than reality.

Complete entertainment package

I was searching for a one-season story series and luckily i found this. Every series or tv-show now just gets stretched and stretched, also it is becoming a norm too. I wanted to see something entertaining without having to waste time watching 4 seasons or five of a series/show which also in future could get unnecessary stretching.

So due to the above reason i convinced myself to watch this and woow i don't have any negative criticism towards this show. It is a brilliant entertaining worthy of my time show. Casting is great, Actors are great, Acting is great, story is good, and what else do i need?? nothing.

Kingdom (2019–2020)

I don't know how it could be better

Rating movies and series is different as the very thing is different from each other. When i rate series, i always think about my experience while watching. In this particular series, there was no unnecessary stretching, no fillers wasting time. Characters are on spot and one can feel for everyone. Relationship between them can be felt in a way that you predict what they're going to do next. ( little spoiler: during the interaction between the chief counselor and the Queen also happen to be father and daughter, i felt that the father was exploiting his daughter too much and she is going to protest back heavily. That what really happened) . This kind of relating to characters by audience can be done by a brilliant set of writers.

Now the main thing, I have never seen zombies in pre-modern civilization. Zombie slaying by swords and arrows with fancy dress and hats?? I am up.

Mortal (2020)

Partially awesome and partially far from good

Starting with a mysterious look i expected it to be highly fictional super-hero movie but even though it turned to be a whole different type of movie i liked it. Since I am not from Norway i don't know the mythology around which the plot revolves and also it's not produced from Hollywood, i will not criticize it. Visuals are good and acting is fine, the thing i found awkward is character interaction. I mean dialogues could have been better. I felt like they were rushing too much. Overall i enjoyed it and recommend it too.

Future Man (2017–2020)

Season 1 fun, Season 2 awesome, Season 3 Great

Just finished season 1, it was totally awesome and fun watching. I had watched all the episodes continuously till the end of season 1, so there were moments i felt it's not moving forward at the same pace but after the ending i definitely felt good. It was totally satisfying to watch.

Edit: Ow season 2 was on a whole different level. This season focused more on the exploration of all the lead characters, their strength, weakness and more weaknesses. So the plot development was reasonably slow and also everything about this timeline of future, Mars, anything made no sense. It's like they waste too much time on building up. The last episode was great and ended with a mindblowing cliffhanger.

Edit: Yeah, season 3 is great. All those historical figures living in eternity sounds like utopia. This very idea is funny though. At last the explosion of base on true story is what made it hilariously funny.

Since i watched it to spend my time and have fun and not for absolute logic, it's worth it. To be honest, time travelling itself doesn't make sense.

Guns Akimbo (2019)

Violently fitted in it's genre

Its one of the best in it's genre. Action: wow pretty violent action & Comedy: Does a good job in this too, that homeless guy was the best. Now coming to the plot, many films are hitting the audience with such concept of real death-match fight game where there are players and watchers. All i can say is that this film also does a good job and fans of this genre might have a good time watching this.

Angrezi Medium (2020)

Irrfan Khan is the man

This film is ONE of THE BEST BOLLYWOOD FILMS i ever watched and when i say this, i am sure that anyone from India who loves film can relate. Sure it has flaws and else but It does a great job in its genre giving us an fun time, also showing our culture vs the west (no offence). I'm not saying that our culture is superior but the way it's portrait in this film is real and honest in my view. It's the last film of Irrfan Khan, a true gem of Indian film industry. He does his job so naturally and beautifully, it's perfect. Had a great time watching this.

What Happened to Monday (2017)

Went beyond opposite of what it imagined

I first thought it to be a regular film about hot female elites fighting their life for freedom but it went straight opposite and turned out to be amazing thriller, scifi-action film. Every aspect of the plot can be believable and sounded reasonable. It's hard to find films with future realistic scifi plot. In terms of acting, you better know about Naomi and she don't need appreciation from me. She did her best job.

First thing first,i didn't enjoyed this show. I watched all the three seasons and damn 1st season was awesome, it set the bar really high. I was almost ready to say that it is one of my all time favorite but it ended the very moment at the starting of season 2. Season 2 and season 3 are pure trash. I haven't hated any thing more than this. I knew they were building up for something great so gave time, waited and waited and waited but nothing. It doesn't worth the patience and ended up to be trash. Story is delivered to perceive the story as realistic with unrealistic fights, how does this two can be combined and expect to be a good show? i almost felt like watching south-indian films lol. Characters introduction is perfect, they gave life to almost every character but gave too much life in some and that's where the problem began. They forced many things to the viewers, this is the main reason of my not liking the show. They failed to create a likable character to root for. Oh come on, just because hot chicks are there, I'm not going to watch. Characters are at some moments super smart and at some moments they become super dumb. The forcible way of portraying characters killed this show. At some moments they fight too well and at times they became punching bag.

Nerve (I) (2016)

Brilliant concept but no backbone

The backbone of a film is always the characters, in this film, apart from the two or three lead protagonist, no others were introduced on the scale to connect with. Plot is good, social media attention, showing insecurities between friends, twist at the end is huge. I just kinda fed up of watching good guys hacking into bad guys at the end moment and won boom! What I'm trying to express is that the concept had the potential of taking this movie to the ultimate peak but it's ended too quickly and simply.

(plot discussions) If the creators of the game were capable of hacking into everyone's server and mess up with everything, if they were able to have command in such high authority, how can they be dumb at the final moment of the movie? Anyways it's certainly fun to watch with friends and have a good time.

Konwarpurar Konwar (2017)

Not Perfect but Awesome

Though it's not perfect, it's a beautiful movie to watch and have a fun, memorable time. Plot and soundtrack is just awesome, fight choreograph could've been better but overall the romance between 'bhaikan and banti' overshadows every flaw. Cameo of our hero Utpaul da made it to the top. Good to see an regional movie doing well.

This is a good AI movie to watch. Plot, acting, execution, everything is good but not great definitely because it's a low budget movie. Story is simple and in this budget segment, it is probably one of the best movies.

A funny and entertaining film to watch. This kind of films lightens up the mood and give us a good time. I'm not going to write about the plot or anything because it doesn't matter. If you're going to watch such movies, you know better that you're not for the story or logic. You're for a fun time and to enjoy, with this expectation you will get satisfied fosho.

Cloud Atlas (2012)

Perfectly beyond any genre.

This film has everything, it falls under every genre possibly. From romance to horror, mystery to drama, thriller to scifi,it is great. Yes it's true that liking or disliking a movie entirely depends on mood but there are also films that just lightens up your mood no matter what. This film got a unique and brilliant story as backbone, acting is in it's class, Visuals and bgm is awesome but the thing is, for me, i kinda feel like it is not well executed enough. Maybe i wasn't ready, sorry for feeling this way but it could have been done better.

Cobra Kai (2018–2025)

Cobra Kai never dies!!

Wow wow wow! The show is itself a good thing happened for all the karate kid fans. Actually i never watched the original karate kid which this show is an extension of but i watched the Jackie Chan's Karate kid, so i got the idea of what's happening in this universe.

Coming to this show, it's a brilliant imagination. The emotions, relationship between each and every character in the show can feel by audience. Contrast among the characters, the differences and similarity makes the plot great.

Not giving away too much of the plot but Miguel you better wake up and fight!

Warrior (2019–2023)

Fights 10/10, BGM 10/10

Perfectly executed in all ways. plot is amazing as well as it's portrayal. The most lovable thing is the BGM, The combination of fights and BGM is memorable. I'd have rated it 10 if they showed us the full fight of Ah Sahm and Dan Leary :-p

Nevertheless a treat to imaginaton and eyes as well.

Artemis Fowl (2020)

Visually appealing and nothing special

In terms of Visuals, it deserves 10/10 (ofc it's a Disney movie) but in case of story, it has nothing to carry my interests to continue watching. No suspense, not exactly funny, lack of emotional relationship portrait. I continued just for Visuals.

Though it is clear that i didn't like the plot of this movie but I'd like to see a sequel to it.

American Sniper (2014)

Brilliant direction and Cool shots!

Pardon my knowledge on real life Chris Kyle but in terms of movie, this is awesome. I'm not from america and don't know more about the "man" Bradley portrayed. Bradley did and amazing job as well others. Sniper shots are directed brilliantly.

If you're not around from america and don't consider yourself letting in politics, chances are high that you will enjoy this movie.

The Order (2019–2020)

Not perfect but not bad either

Yes it's not perfect in terms of story or logic but it's fun watching. Those murders, lacks of involvement of any higher authority could be something people are rating this show low but in other terms like fun, drama, relationship, this show is good. We can actually feel the chemistry between everyone with other, and the romance between jack and allysa is brilliantly portrayed. Give it a shot buddy, you'll enjoy.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

Godzilla!! Oh lord, i can only think of what this film could've done with a great plot. It could be one of the most memorable and exciting moments of film addicts but sadly it was a horrible experience.

What a dumb plot, i only continued to watch because of Godzilla and other monsters. Every other human being is dying and we're supposed to follow a selfish woman who tried to destroy earth and her daughter who saved the earth. Wow what a plot! And and we're also supposed to feel sad for the sacrifice of evil woman why? cause she sacrificed herself. Dumbo!

I'm not going to discuss the plot holes since everything about human makes little sense, but the back story of monsters is amazing.

Den of Thieves (2018)

Twisted and satisfying ending

Yayyy i love films with twist and twist and twist, this film has done the same for me. Ending of an film is very important as it is the thing that leaves the most impact. Some films are about journey and some about the destination. This is about the both, well balanced. Great ending!

Limitless (I) (2011)

Brilliant concept with amazing cast.

Such an amazing idea turned out be a great story though it might have improved but be honest it's enjoyable, fun, thrilling and what else it missed. I mean nothing!

I wish if it have sequel, not the crap crime solving genius cop show which is not even worth mentioning.

Limitless (2015–2016)

If you love the movie "LIMITLESS", then don't watch this.

I just loved the film "LIMITLESS", i mean what an amazing concept. If someone had access to such powerful mind bending drug, surely they would do something great like shown in the movie. But but but in this show, it's rather a clown laughing smiling and solving petty crimes on the street by becoming consultant for FBI, can you believe it?? Eddie (B.Cooper) has done an amazing job in the movie and all in his cameos on this a show. I would have loved to see some international level thing, his side of thought, what he have done in that time, what do he intend to do. He'd surely not been caught off guard by a helpless pot smoker. I just can't get enough of the thoughts like why in the first place Eddie saved Brian, what was his intention and like Sands once said "i don't know why senator wastes pills on you". It's true though. One dimensional story, crime solving genius, cop show? Really??

I'm going to watch the film one more time cleanse myself.
