The Winemaker (2021– )

Very expensive via Apple TV

This movie equals about a Netflix movie with 4 episodes - and you will have to pay about 3 month worth of subscription to the binge channel as Apple charged me CHF 7.50 for the first of 4 episodes. Do your math ... No, it's not worth that much money although it's a solid plot, good actors and a beautiful environment.

Going down

Based on a review in my newspaper I was eager to see the 3rd episode of JE on Cinema Screen. Given the very positive opinion by the reviewer the latest episode did not live up to my expectation. I never liked Atkinson in his role as Mister Bean but in the latest part he's back in a way I've been positive missing in part 1 and 2. The intro and first 40 minutes of the movie are close to boring as not much happens but gets better towards the end when speed picks up. Still good entertainment although containing much too much political messages so you can wait until you get it on your screen at home as it's really not worth going to the cinema.

Bordertown: Loppupeli Osa 2 (2016)

A rare defeat
8 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Stakes are high and may be somewhat too high in this last episode of Bordertown. We mostly enjoyed all the episodes and the last one stands out because it gets personal, very personal for chief inspector Sorjonen. It's rare to see a top cop losing on it's game in the last episode of a series but this is one of the strength and characteristics that sets this Nordic crime movies apart from many others.
