Great story telling, involved plot, engaging characters and a story Veterans can empathize with. I enjoyed the duality of this story, creating a dynamic that is both beautiful and tragic. The plot focuses on a story about values, honor and demonstrates varied perspectives. I do love the director but the story itself and the actors really bring you in and damn... It's been so long since I have been on the edge of my seat or gripping the armrest in anticipation. I absolutely recommend this movie to Veterans and civilians alike - it's just overall a captivating story. Unsure about any political agenda or Hollywood's part as part of an arm of the government by inundating folks in progoganda as some media has porported. I'll leave that you.

Terrible writing, wasted potential

The actors are genuinely good but the writing and plot are weak and lazy. There are a number of plot holes throughout the seasons and lots of unanswered questions. The characters will develop only to return to the same toxic behaviors from the previous seasons like there is no progress. The show is incredibly frustrating and the worst part is that they genuinely had the potential to do something great with the story and cast.
