Badhaai Do (2022)
Awesome and a mature approach to the subject
Thank you for the team to take a mature approach to the subject and brining it to mass audience rather than the usual over the top ridiculous jokes on sexuality or over the top seriousness throughout.
For the first time I appreciate Rajkumar Rao's acting and the actress who played his mother's role did an awesome job.
Feeling proud to see Indian movies taking the risk to bring this subject to mainstream.
The central two characters were etched out perfectly with even the minor nuisances in them.
I tried avoiding this movie thinking that it would have the overly stereotypical portrayal of characters, but I was wrong and I am happy that I finally watched it. After a long time, a very good movie from Bollywood.
Eternals (2021)
Nice plot and new inclusive addition to Marvel
The storyline is new and inclusive in all aspects. But due to the length of the storyline, I think it would have made a fantastic series rather than make it a single movie.
Its good to see that there is a debate among the Eternals whether the mankind is worthy of saving, but some important scenes were deleted off which would have made it more interesting. Hopefully the judgement of Arishem in future movies may show this in detail.
Norsemen (2016)
Awesome. Shame on Netflix not to approve 4th season
Such an awesome series. This is how a real sarcastic comedy show should look like not with background laughter. The show has some gruesome scenes for sure which may not be suitable for young audience. The first two seasons are really fantastic, the third one is a bit slow but never does it looses the charm of sarcasm, even flinging it towards itself in some scenes.
Its really sad that Netflix didn't approve for another season when they allow seasons after seasons for terrible shows like Riverdale and Stranger Things but cannot support really unique content.
Sara's (2021)
A one time watch about parenting
It is a good one time watch with a must talk on parenting. It is one topic no one talks about. Thanks to the script writer who wrote it and the director who brought it to light without it being preachy. It shows both sides, those who are good at parenting and those who are not without speaking much about it.
As usual, Anna Ben was good and so did Mallika Sukumaran. I wish they had casted some good actor rather than Sunny Wayne (as the character could have used some good emotions) and also the actress who played the role of the old actress. Rest of the actors did their parts well.
Cold Case (2021)
Boring and so artificial
The movie feels literally like a deliberate effort to create suspense and horror that it drags too much through most of the scenes. Too bad art direction, using some of the real bad dubbing and some actors who can't really emote, the movie is a painful waste of time. The director can learn one or two things from recent movies like Nizhal, Naayattu, Drishyam 2 etc. Tp create a gripping movie with crisp editing and acting.
El caso Alcàsser (2019)
Worst documentary. Total waste of time.
It is a waste of time. Absolute garbage.
The entire case goes through so much confusion and reaches nowhere, absolutely nowhere. Plus the enormous amount of subtitles doesn't allow you to read and understand everything. Adding to the confusion is the going back and forth between years every 5 minutes.
Dracula (2020)
Awesome adaptation of Dracula.
An awesome adaptation of Dracula. Each episode will leave you awestruck with the twists and turns.
Screenplay, cinematography , direction and editing is excellent. The actors, especially the one who plays Agatha Vanhelsing makes you wanna watch her throughout the episode with her accent and dialogue delivery.
Would really watch if there is a chance for a next season.
Take Off (2017)
Awesome
Realistic acting, superb screenplay, camera, M and direction.
An amazing watch. You won't regret it ever.
Nayattu (2021)
Awesome screenplay, acting and direction
Realistic screenplay making you gripped to the seat and anxious even after the initial credits roll in.
Acting of the main 3 characters is top notch.
An entirely different genre from the director after the movie Charlie.
