Learned a lot and am still processing just how creepy the algorithms are designed to operate. Understanding the platforms many people use is very important and terrifying.

Charmed (2018–2022)

The worst.

Terrible writing, acting, effects, sets, costumes and story - there is nothing at all interesting or charming about this series (being a blatant rip off of the original series stealing only the name and none of the charisma of the original) - no chemistry with what looks like a bargain basement clearance rack in a dollar store equivalent of 'sisters' - I keep trying to give it a chance and it's simply the supreme absolute worst. Garbage. Cash grab and completely disrespectful to the source material - I do not recommend.

The Witcher (2019– )

So pleased with this show.

Henry Cavill is a marvel as Geralt. And Anya Chalotra is perfect as Yennefer. This series is endlessly rewatchable - while I had a few nitpicks (how could you do Triss like that?) this is solid and well done. I hope we don't have wait till 2021 for the next season.

Joker (I) (2019)

Holy hell this was a good movie.

I can't remember the last time I felt so uncomfortable throughout the entirety of a film. It was engrossing yet creepy. This depiction of Joker was mesmerizing to me, I couldn't take my eyes off Joaquin Phoenix ever. It was funny in ways I didn't expect and equally moving. It's so hard for me to try to quantify this movie.., it was a character study as well as a look at human behavior in general as well as a sorta action piece and a drama with some comedy wrapped with an all around creepiness to it is about the best I can say. It's definitely a movie you'll likely think about long after you finish watching it. Definitely recommend.

Cobra Kai (2018–2025)

Season One was shockingly good and Season two was really good as well and just made me so greedy for Season three. To bring this story to the present day with the original characters, along with a young new cast and have it work so well is quite the achievement. It could've been all nostalgia or unbalanced (see what I did there ;) and it was just perfect. The story is tight and really amazingly well written, the fights are so good (season 2 ending was knock you out of your seat shocking). I definitely recommend- it's rewatchable, fun and a breath of fresh air. I really love this show

Chernobyl (2019)

Captivating and intense.

I remember this happening in 1986 in real life but was a teenager at the time and didn't really get the scope of what happened. Seeing this through the prism of being and adult is so affecting and overwhelming..., from realizing how close the whole planet was to experiencing the effects of this catastrophe to what the people (individually and collectively) went through in the places within the region this actually happened in. Decisions and trauma we can only imagine. Every single position played a part from the fire fighters to the engineers, miners.., to the doctors and nurses along with all the regular people..., families and pets..., wild animals and the government types who always make everything worse -- literally every single life form in at least the immediate area was impacted. Your brain can get overwhelmed if you think about it too much. In as far as the performances, cinematography, sound etc it was fantastic and hauntingly beautiful. Definitely recommend.

The Magicians (2015– )

Season 4

What a downturn from the three previous seasons. This season had underdeveloped monsters. A lame nonsensical subplot regarding the Library. Hedge witch tattoos that made no sense (I could go on n on regarding the plot and sub stories that were so so bad..) and most importantly the worst themes regarding suicide/death -- they were horrible, baffling and irresponsible. I recommend the first three seasons (which were stellar) but this 4th season n beyond?? Not so much. I am so disappointed and surprised with the decline of this season. Such a shame as this was one of my favorite shows n I read the book series because I liked this show so much...., I'm sticking with the books now n not really the show moving forward.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

I was so happy yet sad with this movie. I have had days to process what I saw and while it was a great way to tie up the stories it is so hard to watch knowing that's it's the last time for some of my favorite Avengers. Looking forward to watching it again. Loved it 3000.

The Dirt (2019)

I loved this movie.

I've watched it twice already and I can see this will be a movie I can rewatch a bunch n still enjoy. Do I wish it was longer? Yes. Do I wish they included 'Wildside" on the soundtrack? Yes. Will I buy this on blue ray when released?? Absolutely!!! - if you've read the book it will of course make the movie better (as they left many parts of the book out for better or worse) but I watched with some friends who didn't read the book (n aren't Crüe fans to the extent that I am) and they loved it. People will likely nip pick it to shreds but it was so fun and dark and sad and heavy - a little music lite for me in that I wish they featured so many more of their songs but the movie was really great and I'm glad they did this movie with reverence as it could have so easily been campy and cheesy and it's wasn't at all to me - I LOVED IT!!

Captain Marvel (2019)

Saw this movie Friday night and while it was a bit action heavy and light on character development it was quite enjoyable. I really liked the back story of Fury's eye and Goose was definitely awesome :) this movie did what I complain about in most movies..., there was so much focus on act 1 n act 2 that the 3rd act always seems underdeveloped. I enjoyed this movie and although I probably won't pay to see it again I will buy it once it's out on blue ray.

I have tried to give this show a chance but it just gets worse and worse. A steaming pile of horse dung is the 'respectful' ripoff they are selling and I've stopped watching.

Would you like an show that has magic and isn't a ripoff??? Try 'The Magicians' - good, new fresh stories, super cool magic and they include (gasp) ALL people, people of color, white people, gay people, straight people, ugly people, pretty people, fat people, skinny people, good people, bad people (you get the point)

I'm glad the original Charmed is so rewatchable that hopefully this terrible terrible ripoff will soon be a distant memory as they have shown such gross disrespect to the source material that its actresses n writers are simply not worthy of the fan base earned over the years from the original.

Return this back from whence it came as this reboot sucks

They could have called it anything besides 'Charmed'. Blatant ripoff of the original. The 'orbing' was off-putting. The sister bond/family driven feel was non existent. Why is it soo dark (lightening wise?) was that deliberate? The acting was uncomfortable to watch, the jokes didn't land for me and I felt I could do better effects with my laptop. How offensive is this?? To this fan VERY offensive- vanquish this ripoff n Create a new show with new people/powers/story.
