The world WILL know her name
11 August 2023
.... Sofia Wylie!!!

I said it once or twice, and I'll say it again.. this woman is talented beyond words.

Anyone can easily hate in this spin-off series, because NO it's not the original high school musical and it's not even trying to be.

But not one person can tell me they don't get nostalgic, not even a little??, watching those teens strolling through East Highs Hallways..

Season 4: loved Monique, loved Ashley!!! Coach Bolton!! Those are gifts for the OG fans hating in those reviews.

It's a nice last season, filled with fan service and Easter eggs, if you are ready to let go Olivia Rodrigues that is..

Sofia Wylie, just wow, she'll take it far! Can I have this dance was my favorite "remake" song and the best original song from a newcomer imo was "Dreams don't die"

Don't be so harsh people, don't judge like they are trying to be better than the OG movies, they also worship them with this tv show!!

SEASON 2 FINALLY
22 April 2023
Okay first off I am in love with Amaia and Begonas acting and storyline and also pretty sure I am not the only one.

Praying for season 3, but even in the worst case scenario just happy with the ending as it is.. since you know... if you know...

The story in general was great too, didn't see the purpose of them being there coming quite in that form. So messed up, in a great way of course.

This show makes me want to change my wardrobe to all blue and turquoise lol, except those hideous new green sneakers maybe. Loved Bels blue Nikes tho

Besides the story that keeps you on the edge of your seat (hooked me for an 8 hour binge), the visuals are beautiful, the directing outstanding and the acting ohhh the acting.

The L Word: Generation Q: Last Year (2022)

Tibette
21 November 2022
It's been 13 years and no one can describe the feeling you get when you watched those two in your teens and now in your adult life findig their way, once more, back to each other. Goosebumps!!

Tho also the rest of the series has a great plot, so easy to watch and follow, even tho there seems to be some controversy about this and probably also my opinion.

What else can I say? You can't serve everyone.. in the end, instead of bashing each other's ships and preferences, let's just admire and appreciate how far we've come in those what? Almost 20 years since the L word first aired? When we still needed to desperately search for representation on the TV and now we're even able to fight about who we want to see with who. Amazing!

Loved it
20 October 2022
Literally stayed up until 4am to finish this after work.

This is a similar way of going about this true love fairytale stuff like Frozen did, adorable and warm but not at all in a feminism in your face kinda way.

Loved every minute of it and had so much fun watching.

The visuals are gorgeous, the twists and turns are exciting it never gets boring and you keep finding yourself rooting for a different character ever 15 minutes, because everyone one of them has something to like about in my opinion.

If you want to have a good time and get in the October mood, go watch this immediately!!

One more thing: Sofia Wylie... she is a rising star!! She just glows, being the main character finally and showing all that talent that's inside of her. It's just a shame we didn't get to see her dance, but maybe that's a good thing, because she finally got to show what she can do besides dancing like a star and singing like an angel! Princess of colour, yeah baby!

Queer women cast by queer women! Binge-worthy!
19 September 2020
This show kept me up all night. It was sooo intense and twisted and kept on surprising me. You'll see a lot familiar faces and all characters are very well thought out. One suprising hit: Charlotte! Sarah Paulsons performance is outstanding and so is Nixons, even though she flew kinda under the radar for a while. Great comeback.

Also.. always amazing to have queer women portrait queer women on tv!

Wynonna Earp in a nutshell
3 August 2020
Guys, Earpers, Fam... we all know this is the best show to ever air on television. Besides the fact that it's woke, funny and full of heartwarming feminism. And of course the best lgbtqi+ representation in worlds history as well as hilarious dirty jokes... There is magic in every bit of this masterpiece. Respect, community, talent, appreciation. I've met the cast in Barcelona last year, surrounded by fellow Earpers. We were all hoping and fighting so desperately for this amazing show. I've never felt anything like it. And I feel it everytime I watch one of the episodes. If you are here looking for a review recommending the show and telling you to watch it? Well, here I am. Watch it!! It will change your life for the better and welcome to the kindest community in the world.

Milestone in Queer TV History
1 December 2019
Okay I am happy to be the first to rate this masterpiece. Since I already am a fan of Dominique as well as Jessica, I was more than happy to support this project. And since big networks don't seem to produce the content our community needs, or at least only up to a certain point.. I am all for indie movies supported/sponsored - from the fans, for the fans - like for example the Carmilla Movie.

Regarding the movie, which is a holiday movie (and the first queer one), it's cute, it's funny, it's charming.. it's everything you are looking for. It will make your gay/queer/straight/whatever heart warm and fuzzy.. and isn't this what it's all about?

I also want to add how greatful I am to be part of this amazingly kind, supportive community.. we ARE the change.

And thank you to the Season of Love-Team for this amazing movie and for the next big milestone in queer tv history!!

I don't get it? Why are there so few ratings? Don't we always crave and scream for authentic LGBTQ+ content? This is part of our history. I loved it. And I love Netflix being so open about them representing our community and why it's nessecary.

The only thing I don't get is the OCTOPUS?!

Pretty good
12 April 2019
Okay so I don't know why Noah Centineo is in like every Netflix Original romcom..? But from all of those that I watched, this is by far the one I liked best. Original idea, funny.. and sure the end was not a surprise. But I guess that is why we all enjoy those movies so much, because there are days we just need a good old happy end, am I right?

Also: Loved Laura Morano and her character in this one!

Watch if you want to know this case
28 March 2019
If you are just watching to see a action loaded spare time filler- you came to the wrong place. This is for people who want to know more, or get to know this case. What happened to Gypsy is a tragedy and every scene and build up is necessary to truly understand the weight of this crime and how it came to the murder. It is pretty intense, but worth every minute...

All the actors are well chosen and nail their parts. (Gypsys voice is spot on). I personally am happy to see Robb in this production, since she lay low with her acting career for a while. With this part she is back better than ever, and I think she is most gifted to play dramatic roles.

I am sorry but I liked it, this season and the writing in general kinda sucks anyways - I dont get why everybody acts like a masterpiece was ruined. I liked the musical epsiode tho and am here to fight against 1 star ratings..

This is like one season of The Bachelor in every epsiode. Nicely done, includes characters for everyone I think. Very down to earth and if your are into that you might like this mini series.

Refreshing. Heartwarming. Perfection.
8 February 2019
Those are just a few of the words that come to mind. I said it once and I will say it again: This is one of the best comedy shows I ever watched.

Rita Moreno is hilarious, you can't help but love her.

Isabella Gomez is a great actress too, she plays it all very down to earth and believable.

One day at a time is one of the few comedy shows that will make you laugh out loud and cry real tears.

They make you laugh while crying..

Season 3 is a joy and I didn't expect any less.

As a gay women in todays world who knows almost all the shows and movies including lgbtq+ characters. This is the most honest, real, relatable, refreshing, down to earth way to tell the story of a -first time-. I am taking a bow, Netflix. Thank you!

6 February 2019
This movie was amazing. Sandra Bullock speaking german calms my soul.

Sometimes I wonder why there is so many bad reviews.. like for example the one of shahdadayoughi. But then I check out their profile and realize they only give 1 Star ratings on here and spread hate. Go check it out!

It's so funny.. and pathetic. It's a good thing I only check Imdb ratings AFTER watching.

And I recommend you do the same!

Bullock shines
4 February 2019
This is everything the Happening wanted to be and should have been. Sandra Bullock is outstanding in this movie, and I am so glad that in the last years she pulled away from - just - lovestory and girl next door roles.. making it possible for us to see her shine in motion pictures like this. I was hooked from start to finish, yes there are lots of unanswered questions BUT this is honestly something one has to expect in this kind of genre..

Was sad that Paulson was gone so quickly tho..

Loved it - and cannot wait to see more work of Bullock with Netflix!

This is happy death day, in a much cooler more extravagant way. Hold your tissues ready.. you will laugh.. you will cry. And it will be totally worth it. Starts a little slow, but after epsiode 2 you WILL be hooked. Lyonne shows once again the beauty the art of acting can be..

Too blurry
1 November 2018
The storytelling and acting was great. I would love to hear Salem speak next season... it is possible as we learned in the last seconds...

For those complaining about the feminism.. well it is a show about women in powerful positions, so I don't know what you were expecting.

My only complaints are the blurry edges in the camera perspective and that there are no lesbians.

Worth a watch!

Fantastic
19 May 2018
I don't get all the criticism? These are children in High School afterall? They are all involved in extracurriculars.. River Vixens, Football, Wrestling, Pussy Cats? This does actually make a lot of sense... and takes the edge off a little and they all deserved that for the big finale. Also Madeleine Petsch outdone herself once again.. she has such talent and authenticity. She is a real scene stealer, the scene at thistehouse was breathtaking. She ruled this season!
