South Park: The 25th Anniversary Concert (2022)
That's called a Montage!
Awesome performances. 👌
I've been a fan of South Park since watching the first episode on Global TV (Canada) back in '97.
I love Matt & Trey for their talents, balls, and extremely clever 'smut magazine' sense of humour.
This concert truly was something special and would have loved to be a part of it live, with all of the other fans.
Check it out!
👍 👍
The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch (2020)
A whole lotta nothing.....
TV shows like this one and Curse of Oak Isle are overly-dramatic theatre with repetitive nonsense and endless, drawn-out filler every episode.
Nothing more.
No hard facts.
No conclusions.
No reality.
Just like 95% of all "Reality TV".
Ancient Aliens (2009)
I love it.
For me, it's the most thought-proving show behind How the Universe Works and Space's Deepest Secrets.
To all the people who tear this show apart because they think it's nonsense: You're completely missing the fine details about these discoveries from our ancient past and how to explain them using our i-m-a-g-i-n-a-t-i-o-n.
For example, try explaining the Antikythera mechanism. An ancient mechanical analog computer, designed to calculate astronomical positions and eclipses of celestial bodies within our solar system decades in advance, and with extreme precision. It could even correct for the elliptical orbit of our Moon. It is dated to approx. 150-100 BC. A time where a basic telescope is not known to exist.
There are massive holes in our known evolution of Human intelligence and technology, just as much as there is a gap in our evolutionary tree as a species. This knowledge didn't just fall from the sky...
Or did it?
The Proof Is Out There (2021)
90% Nonsense.
So it gets 1⭐ to represent the 10% of sense.
And I'm not just hating because I would like to see the show cancelled - that's the actual content of the show.
It's your call.
Fairview (2022)
Fairview?.. More like Crapview.
I am beyond sick and tired of what Comedy Central has become....
I've been watching the network off n' on since the mid '90s, and it's never going to be what it used to be. It had an arsenal of 'funny' original programming and Stand-up comedy for days.
This? What is this? What is this supposed to be?
Socio-political obnoxious comedy?
A dumpster fire of jokes?
Death? Is this what dying is like?
You mean to tell me, that an actual production crew at an actual studio got paid to produce this?
4 reasons to 'cut the cord' to CC:
1. They greenlight stuff like this.
2. Their schedule consists primarily of constant re-runs of South Park and non-original programming (The Cleveland Show, The Office, Friends?).
3. They recently started doing that extended time slot thing (35mins instead of 30) that other "re-run" networks are doing, so that they can spew 15+mins of adverts per show. Not to mention the overlapping credits and intro of separate episodes, sped-up playback and cutting scenes to make it shorter. You're literally paying to watch more, more, and more adverts. Seriously??
4. They purposely lower the broadcast volume level of their programming, so that you have to turn up "your" volume considerably higher than other networks. That way, when the adverts come on, their volume is then brought back to a 'normal' level and your volume is now loud enough to wake the dead. This is an illegal tactic, to raise the volume level of adverts above normal, but they seem to have found a sneaky way around it.
I mean, who doesn't want to hear ads for car insurance and psoriatic arthritis and depression meds blasting through their TV speakers or surround sound?
I only tune in from time to time because of free streaming websites, because I MOST DEFINITELY would never pay for trash like this. I don't need or want high quality viewing for re-runs and Geico adverts.
Repossessed (1990)
Haters will hate.
Granted, it isn't one of his best comedy films.. but if you are a true fan of Leslie Nielson and the comedy he delivers, you should still enjoy the silly nonsense as much as I do.
Three Busy Debras (2020)
3 Annoying Debras
10 mins of the most annoying, cringe-worthy garbage I could ever wish for. And no, this is not based solely from a male perspective. I love funny women in TV & Film. This writing simply sucks. You couldn't pay me to watch this. Seriously.
Comedy Knockout (2016)
It could be good, but it just isn't.
I give it 4* because of the various comics.
The show itself needs a better layout/production and a much, much, MUCH better host. He's unbelievably terrible.
The Big Bang Theory (2007)
Pathetically not funny.
I appreciate the "scientific themed" idea for a sitcom - but the nerd factor, stupid jokes and painful laugh-track is way over-the-top for me. It's too much so, that it's annoying. ALL CHARACTERS ARE ANNOYING AF. More 'cringing' than 'laughing'. If it wasn't targeting stupid teenagers, it *could have* been a good series for me. I wouldn't even bother writing this, but it's airing on every TV channel that airs sitcoms. The series is over - Go away.
-end rant.
Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club (2019)
Like a trainwreck in a dumpster fire full of dirty diapers.
I would rather bleed from the eyes for the rest of my life, than to watch this poor excuse for a television show.
#GetCancelled
Doom (2005)
Large nachos w/ extra cheese.
Total cheese flick starring Dwayne "overacting" Johnson. Seems appropriate.
Some people might find this entertaining. I did not.
3* for decent gore scenes.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Star.. What?
I stopped watching SW films since the Episode I, II & III nonsense.
I also laugh at everyone who flocks to a theatre and actually pays money to see this, the same way I would laugh at someone for buying snake oil or magic beans.
"Ugh.. dude.. sorry, bro. Here... here's your $10-15 back. You've been scammed."
Cooper's Treasure (2017)
This is not a reputable documentary.
It is yet another over-glorified, over-hyped reality TV show. What else would you expect from Discovery network?
As others have mentioned, you could easily condense the content into 1 or 2 episodes. There is so much repetition, that I feel like I'm being taken on an 'idiot ride' and I can't take any of it seriously. Especially the mapping from space, using such old technology to detect underwater objects from very far away, while traveling at high velocity.
Search for written documentation instead of this time-wasting trash and watch something else on NatGeo, for example.
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (2014)
This is how I like my news.
Right up there with The Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart, but with more 'in- your-face' jokes. Does an excellent job of exposing the nonsense in today's events across the globe.
There's a reason the show currently has a 9.0 out of 10 stars. It's pure awesome.
3rd Rock from the Sun (1996)
Yup. This is a good one.
This sitcom is what I wish today's sitcom were more like.
I put it right up there with other great sitcoms like 'That 70's Show' and 'Newsradio'.
If you enjoy ridiculous, silly humour with great actors - do not let this one pass you. Grab a copy of season 1 and get ready for a treat!
