Chris Eyre is a genius
20 February 2023
I genuinly missed Longmire after it ended and tried to live Yellowstone but didn't, i juat found all the rich people of very little diversity all fighting over land really dull after while...and then thank the lord, Dark Winds arrived...

It is not only beautifully written and directed, the cast is superb and clever and different, it feels other worldly. There is always a hint that there's other forces at work here that go beyond just human. But it's subtle they never over play their hand...

The lead actor, Zach is brilliant. I want every episode to be longer so i an just see him work things out...Chris Eyre is a director who shkd be making big movie but thank got he is making this.. Please can this series keep coming.....

Miss this show
20 February 2023
Just rewatched it. Literally miss Walt and Vic. I genuinely think it was the precursor to Yellowstone, even though Dark Winds is better. If Longmire ever comes back they shld have Chris Eyre direct it.....cannot understand why so many fans got so angry about the ending as it is all preordained in the books isn't? I have nothing else to say but have to film the word count so i did like the horse in the show too!!!

I am not being funny but why do i have to write an essay to egy a genuine review, all I wanted to say was I LOVE this show not write a thesis on it! 600 words is practically the length of a High School essay! Why!!!'

WISH THIS WAS STILL ON - IT FELF UPLIFTING
13 December 2022
I genuinely miss Stan and Charlie and their various family escapades. I follow them on their Facebook pages and I think there's been a lot of changes since this series first went out, but for me it was always the MOST real and true to life and the producers clearly tried to capture the reality and not the hype.

Stunning scenery Stunningly hard living conditons Would love to see more female characters as I always wondered what the women were doing and wanted to see them more And nosey to see round all of their homes

Good people leading good but hard lives. Meghan and her idiot husband wouldn't' last ONE day here.

GOOD SHOW, GOOD TALENT
28 June 2022
You can tell that these two tried to tell a good story and do the leg-work but were probably being pulled back to DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA by a frazzled channel exec who was simply beg hounded to chase ratings and dumb it down...it's a tough line to walk but I actually loved the guys and the show...

GOOD WATCH WITH LOTS OF FRESH INSIGHT INTO UFO'S
2 June 2022
Typically these show's interview witnesses and then move on to new stories, this one weaves a compelling argument for here a. Being a point to these lists, b. And a reason for them come here. I did not know hat we had fired nukes into space and I shocked me that we did it without thinking of he consequences. It make total sense that potentially life on other planets might no look too favorably on this and I was drawn into he argument the team were remaking.

Good show, very thoughtful and nice to see Roderick Martin, so rarely do we have non white experts it was a joy to see him and he added a calm and distinguished edge. I for one believe he has made a strong case for the UFO's no being here for fun. And while I wasn't;' scared, what can I DO? , I did feel more informed afterwards.

Beautifully shot too.

WHERE IS THE REST OF THE FAMILY?
2 February 2022
Why is there a film about Cousteau but so few of his family in it, where is his eldest son and other grandkids? Seems Francine is determined to write them out of history which is so unfair since she doesn't dive and never was an explorer. Why can we not hear from people who dived with him in his golden years also with the surname Cousteau? Just feels like half a story.

GOOD SHOW WITH NO 'EXPERTS'
13 December 2021
The title is typical madness but actually the sow is pretty fascinatng because it has a whole history behind it. This is not a made up story it turn sou but for hundreds of years people have settled and fled tis location. And what is for me the most compelling evidence is that the local native community all believe they know what it is, some creature called Nantieenuq.

I have NEVER heard of this before and actually found it super surprising, plus I actually like the local people in it as they are not professional Bigfoot hunters, they are just good people trying to work out what is taint their own land. They are actually very calm, they don't run around yelling or screaming. They just listen and try and work out how to handle the weirdness coming at them.

Plus Kyle the bear guard is just LOVELY. So understanding and respectful. So I give it a big thumbs up for doing something very different in tis often tired genre. BTW is it beautifully shot too. So they spent. A lot of money making this....premium looking compared to other paranormal.

BRAVE SERIES TRYING TO SHARE INSIGHT
12 November 2021
You know that the vast majority of people reviewing this as a one are some how missing the point. How can a biopic about your own life, that you make, be objective? This is COLIN'S story. Not some made by committee piece. So it is 100% his POV. Tough.

I thought it was powerful and insightful, I felt myself feeling distressed for how he was viewed by others and misunderstood by his one loving parents who never saw the racism as he did, how could they, they were white?

Colin is uncompromising not because he chooses to be but because that is what he has learned about the way the world has treated him, his kid like mantra all resistance is futile touched a nerve. The hair scene, the car scene, the hotel lobby experiences. Being told he was a good ONE, ALL shaped him. It is not hard to see why he is so passionate and eloquent, so motivated to speak about ow he was treated DIFFERENTLY. Ie in a racist way. He has HAD to speak up.

He KNEELED, an act of reverence for the anthem. He didn't preach hate, ask for anyone to shoot anyone, beat anyone up, mention the military in a derogatory way ever or suffocate anyone with is knee. He wore his hair as he wished and expressed concern at police brutally toward African American men. Seriously, that is a bad thing to speak up?

Yet here we go again, everyone SO SO SO angry and giving fake reviews on a TV show that re think veiled micros aggressions. Just as Colin explained! The irony.

I think Colin is going to be a big voice in the future of American politics for the long term, I pray he is, so people need to get used it it. I for one am glad he made this series. It was enlightening and I love the use of flash back drama recon and present day civics and history lessons. We need more shows like this. He told his story calmly, he told it well, he made me get a glimpse into the very day casual racism that he endured and still endures and it made me ashamed that even now, the bigots wont listen.

You may not like his political POV but at least listen to him with respect and stop telling him , his story isn;t true. His experiences are not true....

Great Coverage

Just watched this again at the airport waiting for a flight and had to comment, so nice to get coverage that is from a fan's point of view and not over the top. Good work and thanks for now going on about the dresses.

Good Addition to IMDb
2 February 2018
Really enjoyed this show, found it on the site while I was looking for other information and have since gone back and watched all of them. Smart, about movies and good hosts who let their guests speak for themselves. Can;t imagine it had a huge budget but shows you what can be done with a smart show runner and a great idea. Bravo.
