Killer Elite (2011)
Killer Elite is based on the novel The Feather Men.
"There is no evidence to suggest that any SAS soldiers have ever been killed by a hired assassin."
As far as I know, there is no documented case of a hired assassin killing SAS soldiers. The SAS is a highly trained and well-equipped special forces unit, and it would be very difficult for an assassin to successfully target them. Additionally, the SAS has a number of counter-surveillance measures in place to protect its personnel.
There have been a few cases of SAS soldiers being killed in action, but these have all been the result of enemy fire or other combat-related incidents. There is no evidence to suggest that any SAS soldiers have ever been killed by a hired assassin.
Shot Caller (2017)
Transformation was amazing.
As a top fan of "Shot Caller," I have to say that this film is an absolute masterpiece. The way director Ric Roman Waugh weaves together a gripping storyline, intense action sequences, and thought-provoking themes is nothing short of genius.
One of the things that impressed me most about the film was the stunning performance of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jacob Harlon. Watching his transformation from a successful businessman to a hardened prison gang leader was both chilling and mesmerizing. It was a true tour-de-force performance that truly deserves recognition.
I also appreciated the way "Shot Caller" explored the complex power dynamics within prison gangs, and the lengths people will go to in order to survive. It was a raw and unflinching portrayal of life behind bars, and the way it depicted the thin line between law-abiding citizens and criminals was both fascinating and disturbing.
Another aspect of the film that I loved was the incredible attention to detail. The set design, costumes, and overall aesthetic of the movie were all top-notch, and it really helped to immerse me in the story. And the action sequences were so well-choreographed and thrilling that I found myself on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film.
Overall, "Shot Caller" is a true masterpiece of modern cinema, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an intense, thought-provoking, and brilliantly executed crime drama. It's a film that will stay with you long after the credits roll.
