Class Action (1991)
Excellent
It shows you what professional actors can do and how they can capture your heart.
They pull you in and you associate your beliefs between right and wrong with the law. And how truth and justice truly matter.
The cast is pure excellence.
I wish they made movies like this today. It's just so well made cast well and you can't really predict what's going to happen as it's an edge of your seat kind of legal drama.
A movie that can come close to this is the verdict with paul newman
Just so well done and outstanding. I urge you to watch it if you haven't seen it. It came out in 1991 and I missed it. And I love great movies and this is one of them.
Sexy Beast (2024)
Well Done
It is very hard to make a prequil.
One of the things that this show does is actually reuse lines that are in the original movie.
There was also another line that was directly taken out of another gangster film.
However the character development is outstanding and the actors take their rolls extremely seriously.
The characterization is done almost too well because it put you into the head of the characters and why they do what they do and the complexity around the underworld.
This is not an easy undertaking and the directing the script. The acting work that is associated with the character development is outstanding.
You will find yourself getting lost into the characters. Which is exactly what you should be doing? As part of the understanding of what this all will lead to.
It is extremely well done.
Cold Blood Legacy (2019)
Leon, the professional part 2 after Thirty years
I actually can't believe that Leon. The professional was made in 1994 and this film was made in 2000 nineteen, so about 30 years have passed and if you go into the movie for the first few minutes, you see John Renault walking with sneakers and then he switches back to his LL bean boots. Lots of bad cuts, no character plots. It's just a terrible movie, but you know Leon. The professional John Renault carries a lot of clout but the movie. Is not that good.
Anyways, the story was weak. And it really just didn't capture me. But the only reason I kept watching it was because of the fact that I like John Renault so much. However, the film just wasn't that good. So if you have nothing to do and you're constipated, go ahead and watch it.
The Channel (2023)
Oy Vey
When I'm watching this movie, all I can think about is heat and the character. Detective Vincent Hannah had a problem with his daughter and this movie. This detective has a problem with his daughter. And it's just the same script in a different movie, and it isn't filmed as well. Isn't directed as well? It's a C minus film but I do like the character who played Mac in the TV series. The unit with Dennis Haysbert, that's much better..
A great example is when they're robbing the bank with the key We're Neil punches him in the face. And says let it bleed, and then this guy gets the key And they beat him up anyways...
And finally, it has the same ending as True Romance, which is an A Plus film.
Where is original thinking and screen writing today????
Grand Isle (2019)
Awful
Why was this movie ever made?
He was much better in Moonstruck, and Raising Arizona.
This film is just a complete waste of time and complete garbage I can't believe it was ever made, does he really need the money that bad?
First Kill (2017)
Poor beyond belief
Bruce Willis Die Hard
Bruce Willis First Kill
What happened?
Bruce how could you have done this movie?
Seriously?
Hunter Killer (2018)
White Squall and Crimson Tide Part Duex
Well first of all the movie has great special effects and probably had a huge budget associated with it.
The problem is the cast just couldn't pull it through and to have a Hillary asked president who drowned in the movie white squall I'm sorry it doesn't cut it Jane was great in Schindler's List she was tremendous in white squall but she doesn't pull it off as president she's not strong enough as a character.
Gary Oldman wasted his acting ability in this film.
And Gerard Butler I think he's just too busy making movies he needs some time off because he constantly plays the same character.
It's almost like a birthday attack with the name Cob on a submarine it brought me back to another character named Cob on a submarine who was in a film called Crimson Tide which was a superb piece of work.
I gave up watching it.
