So good
26 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
They are all great actors, it is the best casting for a show since game of thrones and maybe better call Saul, but damn are Mandy Moore and sterling k brown just stellar. Mandy moore I splaying her 3 different aged versions so well I never feel like seeing someone acting a different age, and sterling just killed me again with his jokes but even more with his melting down with Mandy moore about his mothers. This show is incredible, and I fear that Rebecca's end will be heartbreaking.

Doesnt fall short of season 3
30 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Like game of thrones, season 4 is a new cycle, and it is really making you want to see uthred is those landscapes, those sunsets, for many more seasons. The soundtrack is great, character development is about to grow great, it would really be interesting to see the rise of king aethelstan and the creation of england. They showed how to make a good character out of a young dane (unlike vikings) sygtrigyr and stiorra is a good thing. All in all, can't wait for more

What The last kingdom is best at
28 April 2020
This episode got me back for good, in the show i fell in love with during the 3 seasons and particularly season 3. It is what it's the best at, storytelling, character develoment, authenticity, great acting, and great build up for the future outcomes. the recap at each episode confirms how wide the story arcs are, so many characters, all interacting with ech other, very good at introducing new wharacters It speaks authenticity really, it feels genuine all the time. Although we had the beocca moment, I truly hope we will have seaons 3 moments back in the future too, the music, great lighting and cinematography delivering great emotions during key moments on characters loss. Really I hope this show thrives and is not cancelled! hopefully the end of vikings (the so poorly wirtten vikings) will bring more people into this show, it needs to go on

Sad one, reminds of season two's number one episode
15 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I would never imagine to see a show bringing to life that feeling, that as a child you wanna have time to contemplate life, have the time, all the time in the world to just be there in bliss contemplating. your whole life you'd want that idea to happen, and once finally you can, there is things in the way, time is missing, running out, you can never really take it. that idea of bliss one day, you're reaching out for it. So sad to see rebecca sad, realising she's running out of time, and her two sons powerless.. and that ending, sterling is acting so well.... we are blessed to witness such a great cast and crew performing

Incredible, how they get better each season, for so long now, this is the best spin off, you get tensed for characters you already know the future Hands down to one of the greatest show for sure Hope the ending is as good as mr robots The cinematography is one of the greatest There is nothing to say against this show to me, it is pure control, pure art, we just get to witness it and be blessed to live it like it or find something else

Plastic sword ...
22 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Oh god it's bad... hope it was a pilot for the whole series Dialogs were dull Story was a nonsense, the whole part with elves... the bard.... omg I've never seen a worse show episode from a good show The yennefer romance was incredibly stupid, the editing felt like suicide squad level... And it's incredible how only Harry Potter can handle magic school, it felt as bad as the show the magicians And Geralt was just stupid and absolutely the opposite of what was introduced during the first episode It makes you greatly miss game of thrones for creating the atmosphere around characters, fantasy and new places But first episode was good, and the third is back on track

Incredibly touching
17 December 2019
Those last episode coming up to this one particularly, well, they have something way deeper than season 1 and 2 had to offer with their pack of youthfulness. So to say, all those people criticizing the writing or the characters that are not what they want them to be... this is not game of thrones, this time you don't get to be the writer (you didn't get too in got but you're uneducated) this is history, take it as it is, your feelings about it not being what you want is irrelevant on critic reviews, keep your thoughts for your friends or family or even yourself and think a bit before using freedom of speech via social medias.... think by yourself a little bit, grow up

Season 3 is a great coup for a show, brilliantly handled
17 December 2019
Olivia coleman is incredible, keeping Claire's acting while recreating the role, incredible, when she says to porchey what she would have wanted to do.... wow, so moving, she is brilliant, This cast is meant to last until the very end of the series or at least last a very long time, which the prvious one couldn't have done for long anymore, so it seems a bit abrupt from season 2 to season 3, but the cinematography changed too, and the series is going towards another level, which is impressive considering How incredible the first two seasons are already

Very interesting
28 March 2019
To the previous comment, yeah you're wrong, they toured, we never saw Randall picking a college, so it's absurd to try and say the script is wrong, when obviously it's not, and furthermore you should have known he wouldn't go into this black college after the conversation with his father both in the park and in the car. About the episode, damn it's well acted and written, the cast of this show is incredible, the whole crew, the story needs build up so not every episode is as exciting as the other, but the cast is so good together, every siruation be very well acted Then story of this serie is gonna be very good in the end i'm sure, as the director knows it all already And the story of their couple is very interesting, and I hope it doesn't end up in divorce, otherwise it is hopeless for couples where both wanna do their dream job haha, don't mess with us

Milo
16 November 2018
Milo Ventimiglia, makes me lose it every time, in this particular episode, his tears in the car, that actor is brilliant, haunted by a powerful past surely, kinda like in the show, the character and the actor are perfect together, this show got a great cast, writers, producers, immensely talented actors, and it knows it, it's just brilliant, the story is just talking about life, so emotionnally, the cinematography and the music from siddhartha khosla are fitting it so well. At times some episodes arent as good as the others, but man it is a show, it needs build up, and still: every episode I shed a tear or way more.

Response to jack as an idiot:
8 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
You don't know the rest of the series, you don't know jack, no one knows why he is such a man of action who would have done everything for his family. I'm sure we'll learn it when we'll see how his brother died, during war maybe, and Jack didn't do what he could have, maybe like kate, he was suffering from it, thinking it's his fault. Jack didn't just go for a dog, he went back in to save his family's souvenirs, so that they could remember their story the rest of their lives. The other thing we discovered in episode 15 (if you could have waited before saying stupid things) is that Jack apparently knew that he would died in a near future, or he really had some medium skills, always knowing what was gonna happen (is it to mistify the character, or really a message, that some weird things are trully real, we don't know) If you don't believe me, then why would there have been only 4 tickets to the concert in the car, that he was hiding? he didn't keep the fifth on himself or whatever. So stop accusing things, think a bit and stop complaining, things are never good or bad, red or blue, dying from smoke happen, making one decision instead of another, i mean this happens everytime at any seconds in the world for 7 billion people, there is not just one way things have to happen.

The details
7 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Just incredible, the episode is very good, once again so well acted, well written, well paced. Music is on point; and as in the Kate episode, not required at some moments, only these life sounds and the light. All the scenes have a real meaning for the past, the future as far as in the episode. Everything is impeccable. And then, after the episode, you start thinking: all the details come to your mind, like the fact that the episode is talking about how jack always knew everything that was gonna happen, and in the beginning of the episode, we clearly saw .. there were only 4 tickets to bruce springsteen concert. And that moment with Doctor K... the music and his acting, makes you get emotional directly. One thing that intrigated me, was how the camera showed us for a long time that they sat on the bench, him first, then her, and he didn't let her the nearest seat, but let's say, he's old, that's it, huh? But then you realise it is the same moment as Jack and Doc K: now Rebecca and Doc K on a bench, filmed in angles, the same way, the feelings, how she is lost and requires him to advance. And the ultimate thing, you just start thinking, "oh he e is at jack's place, and he was at rebecca's place on those two bench. See, he is just the guide, the counselor they've needed, when they couldn't have each other. The details in that show.. makes it incredible, and the show is all about the details in life, the little things.

Well, finally a good epidoe in this season 5
25 January 2018
Don't undrstand the other reviews Finally some cinematography back in vikings, great character developement, good scenes, finally a battle where something happens, intense. Laghertha fianlly aging, rollo coming back to put some order back in this mess raganr's sons are doing, wrongly. Some viking fantasy back in the game, well made this time. I wasn't expecting a good episode, cause don't get me wrong, 9 bad episodes just for one good in the end, this is TWD way, and it is of course the wrong way to make a show. Vikings should inspires itself from mr robot, better call saul, this is us, homeland, etc... where all episodes get great writings and great acting and cinematography. The guy who talks about hollywood batlle, man, all battles from this seaosn where bad, really bad, nothing well written, erything felt the same and already seen, nothing intense, and here finally we get something clever and well made.

What to say...
19 January 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Well, I prefer this episode to the previous one actually, but all storylines felt rush and don't make that much sense, well the only one that is good is about england, finally something interesting again, and that alfred, the character and the actor could be great! Rollo deciding to help the sons of ragnar, well, whithout explanation let's say it's pointless. Heahmund, well, pointless, or maybe the fact is that he could bring england to fight alongside lagertha? and then vikings would have been the bridge to confrontation between French and English later on... we'll see. Floki, it is interesting, but... Vikings became a serie about History that developps along episodes, explaining many things that happened and why, okay.. but it feels like michael hirst is lost, i'm sure he's got a plan in the end, but he seems to be struggling the developpement in between. This series shows the story of vikings, but it feels less and less interesting, due to the characters development that is going everywhere and nowhere in the meantime, but without thrilling

Vikings: The Joke (2018)

Disappointing again
11 January 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Maybe i'm waiting too much from a show which is under the level of other shows. the acting seems too much, actors don't feel, they just play, when travis fimmel was really feeling things, as the actor who embodyied rollo too. These battles don't bring anything in terms of quality nor cinematography, and also nothing to the characters developpement. I'm geeting a star wars feeling, a saga that repeats itself without getting me thrilled enough. (the priest as athelstan, the battles, etc) I get that many of fans love the vikings and their story, i loved it, as depicted during season 1 and 2, not much since actually. I don't fear any character to die in battles, neither in a treason face to face during a meeting. And too many characters who were great before, became meaningless. Also Ubbe isn't getting developped in the right way, the actor though might be the one that is feeling the most.

Just wow
23 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This episode tops breaking bad in it's cinematography, also getting some great references to other films, like zero dark thirty or Sicario. Really, Mr Robot surprised me so damn much during the summer on its first season, and then each episode took it on a higher level. Sam Esmail wrote a damn good screenplay, and delivers it even better. It's so complex and then so easily comprehensive. genius

Gets you always in the end, the series grows even stronger every episode
22 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I really can't think of a better emotional show, the whole cast and crew is absolutely incredible, the episodes aren't very long, still every moment is exquisite. Thought that I would be angry at Kate and Toby in the beginning, but they get you emotionally, they are brilliant actors, directed very well, and the writers are really on point, the screenplay is just very good, you're not expecting anything, you just enjoy the whole series moment after moment. Also Thought that young Kate would be awful to her mother, and grown Kate to, and then the finally get together for real after a season and a half of conflict. When the actors cry out, you just fall with them. Can't be thinking of a better cast and crew alongside Game of Thrones. (breaking bad, Mr robot, the night of, true detective season 1, they all got extraordinary actors or directors or music or light, but in this is us it feels like it's a whole thing, I don't know, maybe a bit like it felt on The lord of the rings. And for those who call for tearjerker, I'm sorry, but this episode really stands away of it from the music at least, for the first half surely, it's just light and acting, really even if the series works on emotional facts, indeed, well it is not a tearjerker, it is really masterpiece to me.
