Still Star-Crossed (2017)
Aaarrrrggggghhhh
This program is just painful. The only good thing about it is that (hopefully) the actors got paid. A poor attempt to commercialize an old story. The 1st reviewer said it all so well. Make it stop. I wish the review didn't have to be five lines long - there just sin't that much to say about nothing. Poor quality, over done, high school theater class would do a better job.
Designated Survivor (2016)
Utterly Painful
If you enjoy cliche's you'll like Designated Survivor. What a waste of Mr. Sutherland's talents. While the plot line is fair enough the dialogue is terrible - full of teary family scenes and faux tense political moments. Maybe Keifer should have stuck with the Jack Bauer gig as he falls short of Tony Goldwyn's efforts on Scandal, and the supporting cast offers no characters the likes of Eli Pope.
I have to tell you that when my wife tunes into this program I am off looking for anything else to occupy my time. - Snore.
Not so much a terrible show - just a show that is the bottom side of mediocrity. I'd suggest working on your taxes for next year instead.
Criminal Minds (2005)
Finally
It's hard to believe that this show - which had gotten tired as hell is actually improving and worth tuning into again.
The back drop stories work well - and are actually better than the main theme story lines - Nevertheless I find myself looking forward to this program once again rather than "well there's nothing else on..."
Check it out -
Alex Rodriguez adds to the show what Shemar Moore departed with. Paget Brewster hold her own with Hotch's departure. Matthew Gubler please don't leave the program / Kristen you 2
Please forgive me if I have messed up any of your names.
THANK-YOU FOR SOME BETTER AND MORE INTERESTING SCRIPTS - YOU HEARD ME SNORING IN MY CHAIR - Good Work!!!
All the old crew still awesome. The new crew leaves something to be desired.
Keep up the good work -
Ransom (2017)
Finally
Finally: quality network programming - so nice to see a program that is not another cooker cutter NCIS / CSI? Criminal Cookie Cutters / etc, etc.
1.)Stunning sets. 2.)Brilliant plot twists and scripts 3.)Redeemable acting that can only evolve with the scripts 4.)Conceivable back drop story lines that can follow / adjust well. 5.)Sophisticated and psychologically well presented
The problem with this program: it is TOO GOOD to succeed.
One can only hope that it will serve as a spring broad for the cast and crew. They deserve it.
