Its a solid show

Ok show that shows the ups and downs of the kitchen... its Perry solid but i think they spoiled have went the movie route because as a show, after episode 4, i don't really have the desire to watch any more. I'll prolly watch the rest eventually but the show didn't beg me to stay locked in based on content and plot.

Its a solid team work show. If you don't binge watch, I'm not sure who wants to come back unless you just a jeremy Allen white fan.

I wanted to like this show and when i watched the first episode, it made me say, "oh this seems original.

By episode 2, i started to think ok, this show seems pretty limited but i was still interested to see where the show was going... By episode 4 i lost interest.

The Boys Presents: Diabolical (2022)

Like i can't think of anybody that really would like this... i originally gave this a 2 but upped it to 4 cuz im a fan of the boyz show. But really ego enjoys a show very similarly to looney tunes only it's not for kids... its kinda too weird... ima prolly watch the rest of it just to see if i need to lower my rating or keep it the same lol. And i will Never watch it all in one day, don't wanna waste my time like that on this one.

The Chi (2018– )

This show portrays how Chicago really cam be even when you are booty in the streets. Things just go sideways, stories get crossed. Common was the perfect guy to be a part of this. One of the most realistic shows on TV right now. Ppl that don't rate this show 7 or higher is either hating because its great black show and/or Don't understand the realities of "the hood". Guys from the hood are probsbly not on imdb rating shows and writing reviews so I'll do it for them. GREAT SHOW LITERALLY

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

I've read a few reviews and I understood a few complaints especially if you were a 90s kid and haven't been keeping up with all the reboots and whatnot of Spiderman. Toby's Spiderman in 2002 was more of "Spiderman the animated series" version of the 90s. If you only remember that spider-man this movie could be kind of disappointing. Me on the other hand, I've been keeping up with all my superheroes that interest me, with spider-man being my favorite, I've been watching the Ultimate Spiderman. He crosses over with the avengers a few episodes, even gets invited to join the avengers down like he was in the movie and turned it down. In the cartoon, Shield gives him all of his gadgets and Iron man gives him this Iron man Spider suit. In the movie, Tony stark is responsible for all of his gadgets. The story is a little different but it works for me. I enjoyed watching the spider-man who actually is a kid unlike other spider-man movies. I expected more from this movie but it still was a 10 out of 10. I think that this movie sets up the next spider-man movie and even sets up the avengers movie maybe. The one thing i probably felt was just totally wrong in this movie is the portrayal of flash Thompson. That was very disappointing. Where is the not so smart High school Jock, not this guy that is supposedly one of the fastest in the school (athleticism) but is on a debate team?? GTFOH. only disappointment.

Insecure (2016–2021)

Black women probably love this show

Watch the first full season and I thought to myself that this is great work. If i was a woman I probably would give this a 10 out of 10 but most of my ratings are based upon my watching preferences. I can tell this is a show that I will watch all of the seasons that come out. It deals with real issues and Issa Rae does a good job of bringing an understanding of a woman to the screen. I also appreciate her for playing the character because I believe that helps complete her vision because its easy to bring a character to life when you are the one that created the character (possibly dealt with most of the issues on the show in real life or really is the character subliminally being the character name is Issa.)And its a 30 min show so yea its an enjoyable and easy binge "watchee" lol.

John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)

Harsh critics would rate this a 5/10

John wick the first time around was so fun because it was short, straight to the point, and just an amazing action movie. When you make sequels, you have to find away to keep building the plot in a way that you shouldn't be able to predict certain things. This movie was more of a "Hey, we are gonna give you this movie because you will enjoy the action" and yes i did enjoy it. Chapter 2 is also longer than the first movie so i guess i expected more from the plot. I also watched this movie shortly after the first time I watch Chapter 1 so I didn't have 3 years to build the excitement for the movie. I'm an easy rater, but if i was a true critic and went into more details about the cinematography, specific details of the plot, etc., I would rate this movie a 5/10

Supergirl (2015– )

I'm not thrilled about Supergirl

I started watching the Arrowverse with the Flash and Flash was an incredible 10 out of 10. I'm a superhero fanatic so i really appreciate what DC has done (shout out to Greg Berlanti). Then I start catching up with all the shows in the Arrowverse by season 3 of flash. Arrow is great, I'm in the middle of season 4 and i still enjoy it. I'm actually watching in chronological order and the first few episodes of Legends leads me to believe that i will enjoy it as much as flash and arrow. Arrowverse hit a niche when Supergirl came along. There were only a few episodes that were very enjoyable (can't recall the exact ones). I wanted to get through Supergirl so bad because I'm dedicated to the Arrowverse but after the "Bizarro" episode i had enough. I guess this show is missing something. Maybe Cat Grant is annoying or maybe they need some different characters to buffer up the show. Flash is comical, fun to watch, and just a great well rounded show. Arrow gives you that batman feel. Its also fun how they introduce new characters to spin off shows as well as flash. Legends, obvious there is history with the characters and we expect a lot from them which i think they exceed expectations. Supergirl doesn't have nothing to pull me in. I stopped watching it for the moment, don't know when i'm coming back to it maybe next year when i find out there are some more crossover episodes in the Arrowverse with Supergirl or maybe when the Live actions titans confirm that she will be in it 2018.

John Wick (2014)

First time watching this 3 years later and all i can say is incredible

This movie was incredible. The plot was pretty simple but they were able to make a simple plot an awesome movie. This movie has your attention from the beginning. This movie was a solid 9 for the simple fact that the action was awesome and the characters did a great job acting. The movie took a turning point for me when I realized Marcus (William Defoe) was still being a good friend. I didn't know how this movie would stand out until then.

The Dark Knight (2008)

One of my favorite movies of all time

This is one of the best superhero movies of all time. This movie was composed of the right people playing right part. This movie would not be as great if it wasn't for Heath Ledgers' phenomenal acting. Sad that this part took a toll on him and his life but i think he sacrificed his life in order to play the best villain of all time. Oh yea Christian Bale was a fun batman to watch. I think he represent who batman was unlike this Batman v Superman Batman. I don't remember batman being a stone cold killer so Nolan and the guys did a good... great job.
