Ludo (2020)
"Jan ke bhi Barbad Hone ka naam Ishq hai"
A great philosophical dark comedy with a little spice of thriller. After a a long time in bollywood, a praiseworthy movie is released. Every actors and actresses nailed it in their respective characters. Especially, the comic timings of Rajkumar Rao and the emotional expressions of Abhishek Bacchan will take your breath away. When Rajkumar Rao said "Jan ke bhi barbad hone ka nam ishq hain", it literally appeared on his face.
Writing was very beautiful and entertaining. And the dialogues were real class and mass . After "Qarib Qarib Single Single", this movie has impressed me with its witty and impactful dialogues.
If you want pure entertainment, good acting and decent storyline ; go watch this movie..
Laxmii (2020)
Sharad Kelkar rightfully desereved to be the main lead
Totally disappointed by Akshay Kumar's choice of movies. I am getting a feeling that Akshay is doing the same mistakes like Shahrukh Khan. Like khan, he is also choosing weak, over the top and outdated scripts. Don't misuse your star power Akki.
And most importantly, there are lot of rumors about this movie being offensive towards Hindu - Muslim relationships. But I didn't find anything like that. A muslim man is married to a Hindu woman. A hindu woman is seeking help from a muslim priest. How is it even offensive to anyone? Give criticism but don't spread hate.
Thadam (2019)
The best "Identical twin" conceptual movie ever in south indian movie.
I definitely enjoyed the way how the director pulled off the idea of "Identical Twin". Arun Vijay gave an outstanding performance. I won't say that It's a must watch but it's worth a try.
Vinci Da (2019)
Rudronil gave me goosebumps. Here you go Rudronil, take a bow.
Vincida was a decent thriller from Mithila's Husband (Sreejit Mukherjee). He again proved his potential but the person who carried out the film on his shoulder is no one but Rudronil. Kudos to him. Congrats bro, you made it to my "Top 10 performance list".
The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
It proves that showing the killer's face is not the end of the story.
I like this movie because it gives me the first exposure to the word "cannibal" . And how they portrayed it in the film is beyond amazing. It is a perfect thriller to watch though I figured out the motive of the killer in the first half of the movie. However, It deserves eight star because of it's strong point in "feminism" and proving that women rocks. 👍
