After the Dark (2013)
A total waste of time
There are countless instances where this movie has absolutely no regard for logic or realism. My best guess is that the writer took an intro to philosophy course and dunning kruger'd so hard that he thought "hey, now that I'm a philosophy expert, why not write a movie"? The premise is an interesting idea: "what would you do if you were faced with a cataclysmic scenario and there was limited space in a bunker?". But the way it's executed is atrocious. This movie is not smart. Its not thoughtful. It's just bad. I will say though, the actors did a decent job. That's why I'm giving it a 3/10 instead of 1/10.
Ready Player One (2018)
I AM DISSAPOINT
Well, here's the first ever Steven Spielberg movie i didnt like. Actually its also the first one I pretty much hated. Besides some interesting futuristic concepts and visuals, this movie makes no real effort to be believable whatsoever. It also feels like the writers didnt have a good understanding of videogames or virtual reality. I honestly would've thought this movie was written by a 14 year old. If you're willing to suspend your disbelief the the absolute max, wait till this goes on netflix. Otherwise save your money, it's just not worth it.
Entebbe (2018)
An interesting watch
I gotta say, i cant give any credence to these 1/10 reviews that say this movie is biased against israel or that it sympathises with the terrorists. I thought israel and it's officials/soldiers were depicted in as fair a light as anyone can ask for. As for (some) of the terrorists, yes the movie shows their human side, but rightly so. It seems some of these guys didnt want things to escalate the way they did. And its only fair to show that in the movie. All in all i felt like things were shown in a decently objective way. Not too crazy about the interpretive dancing bits tho.
