The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
based on 3 episodes but its on an upslope
1st - so much to tell at one time
2nd - fleshed out on the dwarves and the elf state of contention.
3rd - hitting all the right buttons.
Given the limitations per amazon with simon tolkein, they are restricted to the 2nd age which is the smallest resource of the 3 ages. Thus, they will need to add quite a bit whereas peter jackson was forced to leave out more than what he added in.
I thoroughly get galadriel. Among the noldor princes, she was the most like feanor. She could had returned to valino any time after the fall of morgoth but refused. Her destiny was to rule, not to be ruled. The house of finarfin was the least militaristic of the noldor except for her. The other elves left valinor either to regain the silmarils or just tagged along not wanting to be left out. But not galadriel. She left because she no longer wanted to live as a subject. She is arrogant, confident without limitation, no wallflower. Really good job on this imho.
The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006)
by far, the best of the series
I think all you nay sayers are all wrong. This is the best of the trilogy. Its LOTR trilogy good but for what it is, its pretty darn good. Its silly enough, with just enough pathos, and lays off the saccharine. Its not a diabetic shock. Iys not as good santa claus vs the marians, nothing beats that, but its good enough.
Sons of Anarchy: Red Rose (2014)
medea meets macbeth
Greek tragedies and shakespeare cogs within cogs merge together in this.
Sons of Anarchy (2008)
either very good or just unbelievable
Best actor is ryan hurst, opie, when he is the focal point, the story is at its best.
