The whole movie is deception in his head and not real

Black Mirror, a Netflix unconventional movie where it is obvious Netflix is making a commercial for itself which is I can admit something very odd, not in a negative way but unusual. It's a part where Charlie is asking who is there and then he sees a message telling him what's Netflix. I am watching you on Netflix. I make decisions for you. It could spoil a movie, you just don't get that movie satisfaction when they make some obvious commercial inside. I didn't quite catch that, they shouldn't bring firm name into the movie. I consider it a minor mistake but it could cost them the ratings. Again they did the self-promotion when he spills a psychiatric with a cup of a coffee, it's a cut-out scene of a movie and he does not know where he is and it's continuous.

The Collector (I) (2009)

started well ended bad

Rich man calls men to help him with the house and since the beginning movie started well. I liked those scenes while he is in the house noticing someone else expecting to be a murdered. It was so unchilled and very scary to watch so it was done excellently but when I saw all those traps set within few hours it was so unreal - I took 2 grades of the maximum, it just spoils the horror. There is no way someone would've done so many traps in so little time and it's too sick to be real. Texas chain saw massacre is great horror, abhorrent but keeps the real out of unreal, this is way too unreal. Especially on the end, Arkin goes to wave the police and the police hit him?! Would you stand in the middle of the road, no you wouldn't. The murdered is still alive and he entered the first aid vehicle. No way, so unreal.

The biggest goof you can not miss is while Arkin is in the house, he has killer boots on him self. I was very big goof.

After all those unreal parts, it's just a great horror if you like tinglings but as a movie it's pretty bad.

It Follows (2014)

not a horror

Film started very well but later on there's no horror action. I really expected to see more of it. The scene when he takes here in the abandoned facility is the high top of the movie which is kinda sad as I thought the movie starts here. Naked girl approaching Annie is maximum out the movie. Movie isn't scary as it self but it's labeled as a horror. I almost fell a sleep as I saw nothing is happening, just few ghosts and girl running from it, that's all. It's like a 70's and 80's horror which used to be scary at that time but in 2017 this film isn't scary at all, only few scary scenes. I wasn't entertained and the movie is for the sufficient grade.

Call Girl (2012)

since the beginning I knew the end

Very realistic 70's style Swedish movie. It has a clear message, don't mess with mafia. I liked it so much as I was watching the film with the family so their argument was Dagmar and the rest of the mobster hierarchy will be judged by the court and incarcerated in the jail and I said hell no, they won't as there are so many guidelines they won't since the beginning. The film is not about pimps, it's about very influential madam and the politicians even ministers who use her services. It's so clear when you immerse deep into the synopsis of the movie. A little thing on the beginning is they start to decriminalize sex activities, it's mentioned those who did offenses of having a sex with a minor will serve only up to two (2) years in prison so they push water at it's mill. Also John is badly beaten hence before he noticed, secret service which is above him trims the sound tapes so he can't get a clear proof against the criminals. When Dagmar was brought to investigation she acts proudly and fearlessly. She talks with John like he is her client not like a police agent he used to be. John's college is involved as he notices it when he verbally attacked Iris so he hit him in the face. Later on in the vehicle college said you're at your own which is a clear evidence no one will beat Dahmar and the rest of the crew. The part which is so clear, Iris is in the hotel but her client isn't shown, on the next scene is the president of the social democratic party so we know it's him. Notice in the beginning of the film it's mentioned there are seven (7) more days until the election day and we hear his speech where you can apprehend he and his party are influential. The last part when you know Dagmar is a clear winner is when the John is killed and from the beginning they said few times secret service knows everything.

From a view of the technicalities movie is a little of bit longer, it could've been shorten 30 minutes and all the synopsis would fit. The part where girls are scared out of parent's reaction is very unlikely to happened in real as they are in the orphanage so they rarely see their parents and parents have no authority.

The main reason for the excellent grade is the movie ending as it was expected. Since the beginning they gave us evidences and we had to think what will happened so it's one of the movies when you think while watching, you know the end.

Silent Hill (2006)

Great horror with many little mistakes

Silent Hill is a movie you need to watch twice to fully understand it. I liked the film as it has lots of plots you have to put together in order to understand it as Dhalia claims Rose's daughter is hers which later on figures out is partly true. There are some mistakes in the movie like it wasn't shown where people live but as everything is empty, it guides out the sect church is not only the shelter, it's their home as darkness happens very oftenly. So whenever they live, there's a question how do they get their food. It was little explained in the hotel part but 30 years after there were no food left so even the film is not about the food you can not miss this part out. When the Rose came on the gas station, around her neck is the locket but when she was entering the town, she was wearing a pendant. Why is Rose unconsciousness if the vehicle hasn't collided in the rocks? Greatest mystery is tho took the Sharon out of the vehicle, was it Dhalia or the Alessa's dark side? In one part you see Sharon is hiding in Dhalia's apartment when fanatics are looking for her. So why she hasn't look for her (foster) mother and why was Dhalia in the town at that time? It's a little unexplained as Alessa hasn't hijacked her as the Sharon was found in the apartment later on.

I liked the end as the Silent Hill is just an ordinary abandoned town for unexpected visitors but you noticed on the end she is driving the same road which was cut off when the Cybil, police woman wanted to get back in the police station located in Brahms. When they entered they were in the second dimension so they couldn't leave the town afterwards. When the Alessa killed those fanatics, evil won that time and you can reassure that as Dhailia asked Alessa what have you became? She didn't forgive those people, she treacherously killed them. Rose is going back from the town with Sharon but you have to keep in mind, when she was in the underground Alessa's demon merged with Rose so Rose became immortal as the priestess Cristabella stab her in the heart but she wasn't killed. Demon took her soul so when she got home trough the road, her soul was trapped in the Silent Hill. You may notice the weather outside, it's foggy while her husband is waiting her the same room but in the other dimension when is sun. It's explained in the school part, demon does not want them so the school is only abandoned and there are no people. That's the reason entering the town was possible for them but was closed for the Rose.

Mein Schwiegervater, der Stinkstiefel (2015 TV Movie)

Great German comedy

Thai woman comes to the unknown German village as she was invited by a man she met in her host country. She is greeted with hostility mostly father's as he didn't expect anyone let alone to stay there and later on inherit the estate as it was husband's last will. She will encounter with the problems of his ex wife who claims the half of the property shell belong to her so she found out the illegal way aiming on the success. I was very amazed with this comedy, I liked the synopsis and the characters. It describes the villagers very well and their reaction on the far east foreigners.

In the church when the priest quits his job as he is grieved by his believers behavior, that part is little unreal as few other moments with the car but this is very chilling movie so even without these little mistakes I rate it out as excellent thus filming technique is great!

The Woman (I) (2011)

Awful

First to mention, it's like it's had been filmed with a $800 camera with a hand, maximum 2 persons. It just lowers the rate by half when you see it. The main character is a delusional misogynist who abuses the whole family. It just messed up that I have wanted to end the movie but I just wanted to see may I get out the two out of ten but no! It just bothers me, a weak man abuses the whole family. He is trying to be macho but I've never seen such a weak character. I could slap him with a hand and tell him, go at your place. And that cissy abuses everyone?! All the characters look very weird, it's probably because of the movie or because the budget was less than the price of the camera they filmed it. The daughter's professor look the same age as the girl, I was like come on, couldn't you find some plus five years older character? What they done good in the movie is the plot when you have to realize he had raped his daughter. It could be easily noticed as she is crying and unerringly when her professor comes to her home. Then there is a scene when the father will abduct the professor, all of it is like come on, when you will stop?

I got the point this is an anti-feminist movie but couldn't you make something like I spit on your grave 2? That movie has a clear message and much higher budget. I liked the vengeance part on the end which I was waiting 45 minutes. I wanted to rate is as a two but the synopsis & the film wallpaper tell you it's probably 7 or 8 but when I saw I was tricked by a movie promo.

I mean nothing is going around in the movie, it's so boring, filmed rate: worst thus when you see who is the abuser and many other things worthless to mention, you can not rate this as a sufficient. Great promo indeed, worst movie indeed.

Shark Night (2011)

Sufficient, not well entertained

Very bad movie, many lacking out which nerves you out. The girl takes the pistol and on a dumb way the guy get it back, it's a scene that shouldn't be in a movie and many like that one. Like when the guy got his arm eaten off, they didn't want him take to the hospital but next day they did so it does not make sense. Characters are mediocre, there are noting so special to get you into the movie. Also to mention, the name of he movie is the shark night so as you would thing, they will be eaten one by one while swimming, wrong. No one is eaten that way, woman felt off, another characters were killed. So non-innovative for a teenage slasher horror movie. Effects are above the average but stupid scenes destroy the movie. Because of the effects and some parts which are good in a plot I rate is as a sufficient movie to watch but that's bellow the good. If you like sharks, 3D and you want to entertain kids, this is a good intro for them as a horror but for the grown ups, bypass the movie

Black Sea (2014)

Unrealistic but good

Drama is very unreal but it contains lots of action and action fans will like it. It's very unreal they haven't taken anything against the killer and because of the character who killed a man, the accident happened and killed many others. In real life they would have taken something. They have sunken two times, at the first time the submarine was lightly damaged, the second time at least it was damaged as many would expect. Good point is movie shows greed and the Russian mentality as they are superstitious, they are stemming the crew as they believe the virgin man brings the bad luck. Maybe that could've been proved as true on end of the film as many of the crew stood bellow with the fishes. When they finally find the gold, they want to take all 4.5 tons of it at once and it turned dangerously, some of them want to ditch the gold and they want to emerge empty handed. I was what?! No one ditch out the gold so easily but they had a reason so they mitigate that unrealistic part. Most characters are greedy but not the captain so that's the good point when you take greedy persons and put them in the not so big space dozens of meters bellow the water. It has a message but things could've been done much better, better to say more realistic but it's more than a good movie though.

Hard Candy (2005)

Girl hunter

Man seeks someone to chat with but he prefers younger women, on the another side there is a kid, not an ordinary kid, a cold blooded young woman which aims the internet predators. She is chatting with him at the daily basis, they both decide to meet in the coffee shop. They both share the same interests only that's untrue, she agrees in everything with him only to get access in his house. When she got the access, she managed to tie him up and she is looking to find a child pornography. He won't admit he is a pedophile even it's not clear is he but it's obvious he likes to date teenage woman. She is very determined and she fears all the time she will tell everyone about what he does. After she find some clues, that's the part you have to look by your self...

Und dann kam Wanda (2014 TV Movie)

Good German movie

German black humor drama is about nanny Wanda half Polish half German waitress who works at the pubs in Germany and Karlheinz, a businessman who holds a build company with two workers. Karlheinz needs Wanda to be a nanny so Wanda is familiar with the family problems. She notices he dislikes Poles but later finds out his reason, however he likes Wanda. Movie point is abut lies, every character has the flaw. Karlheinz lied the kids about their mama, also lying the daughter about the dead pet and Wanda lies her mother by telling her she works in the lawyers office. It's basically about lies. She helps Karlheinz with the kids while Karlheinz has the problems with the deadline so he is nervous guy who can not control his private life which his son resents him. His son is a programmer and he has an ambition to make an iOS app and Wanda is the support to any of them as she is not the nanny, she is a family member. During the movie, Karlheinz and the whole family has an issue with something but all of them they manage to cope with.

Personally I liked the movie as there is a stereotype in Europeans Germany is a promised land and the movie points out on the contrary, it's not. It shows German and Polish people mentality very greatly in the scene foreigners from Poland come to help Karlheinz as both peoples are very different. Film has a great message where lies lead to, that part of the film impacted me the most.

My recommendation is to watch this movie as it shows many truth out of there hence helps people to meet German and Polish mentality.

Gravity (2013)

Disappointing

At first movie shows a space crew working on a satellite. They got an alarm message the space storm will hit them shortly hence they are trying to get in the shuttle but unsuccessfully. The flying objects are faster than a bullet and the damage on the shuttle is great. Later on the movie shows few storms and a rescuing of a main character Ryan Stone which is very boring, frustrating and the same, it keeps going on and on. There are to many unrealistic things shown in the movie and it will put to sleep those cinema-goers who want more content not just an action with storms and explosions. There is almost no communication and it makes the movie boring as all you can see is the main character in the space going at the one shuttle and then when that tore apart going to another. On every shuttle there is the problem so there is always something which inhibits her but on the contrary she is a lucky winner, all the time she manages to succeed every time.

If you like realistic movies with more characters, communication I really do not recommend you to watch this one. This is just an action movie with great effects so action and space lovers definitely won't regret watching it.

Looper (2012)

Good, may be better

This film is very similar with those about the time and a time travel. It shows the future and the assassins who kill people in the past sent from the future 30 years ahead. It's forbidden to let someone alive but it happens therefore it changes the whole future of a two main characters who are both the same person. One of them 30 years older him who he didn't kill. As the future is inevitable older him has to influence on the young him because he is changing the future but the old him want his wife back so there is many action how they are both trying to prevent each other. Even as they are the same person, their goal is different and both won't let another change it. Movie contains many action which is nicely implemented but future 2034 is poorly made, it only shows future gen. computers and smartphones but dinner restaurants and the fashion does not look from the future at all. Not to mention 2076 when older guy goes back to prevent young self, building shown give you a little SF moment but that part is not good made though. I have to agree it's a very good sci-fi movie which I do recommend sci-fi and action fans to watch but I have to mention there are many better movies at the market.

Fear Clinic (2014)

A horror like no other

Very chilling horror movie unlike many others. I was greatly surprised with the synopsis and with the effects. It's a new technology of making a horror, I have never seen any movie technique with this one.

The movie shows doctor who helps the people overcoming human eldest emotion. After dozes of years helping, a girl comes back to the clinic for an another experiment but the doctor refuses her request as it may be dangerous but the young woman persists with her request. The patients in the clinic are acquaintances who share the same fate. Later on the doctor starts experiencing creepy hallucinations after he tested the fluid which came out a woman who passed away in the clinic. Afterwards the young lady is not the only one who requests the second treatment and the doctor agrees to do it. Creepy things in the movie are happening during the story line and things are going even more twisted.

The Guest (I) (2014)

Short Review

The main character David comes from an army to meet the family of the deceased college and asks the family if they may help him. As he is charming and self-effacing guy who manipulates all the people he gets what he wants and he quietly starts to make the rules. He knows how to get a good publicity and what people want so he helps the family members to get their trust which he gets of all of them but Anna finds everything weird. She had realized he just came at the family, he has no any money inflow or a job but he manages to get things he wants. Since the beginning it was very suspicious to Anna but until she heard him suspiciously talking with an unknown person on the phone, she calls the army center to check his data. Army center immediately calls the top hierarchy people who went for David. From that scene everything changes and the movie begins.
