Which Brings Me to You (2023)
Definitely no romcom
I kept reading how this was a romcom, but it's definitely missing the comedy part.
Lucy Hale is great, Nat Wolff was ok, the soundtrack was horrible. I think the movie would have so much more potential but the soundtrack was one of the things that kind of killed it and made it quite boring.
It's always this mellow music with no exciting parts.
In my opinion the movie consisted of way too many slow scenes and too little funny scenes to lift the mood. I also don't get how they cast all these beautiful women as his ex-partners and these, well, not as attractive men for her. She had zero chemistry with any of them.
The chemistry between the main characters was also not the greatest. I was so looking forward to this movie but am pretty disappointed.
Time Is Up (2021)
I really wanted to like it..
...the acting is just horrible though. I know this sounds so harsh and I usually rate other stuff 7 stars and up, but this was just hard to watch. Almost every person I watched looked like it was their first movie.
Also some of the scenes seemed toxic and they tried to sell them as romantic.
You might have probably guessed it by now, but I can't recommend it.
Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten (1992)
Addicting
I always thought this show was annoying and honestly rolled my eyes a little everytime someone said they watched it. Now I am the one watching it, for a couple of years now actually. Sure sometimes the acting is not the best or some storylines get dragged around forever. Still love it. Totally addicting. Don't think I have missed an episode in the last couple of years. Just watch them on the weekend without commercial breaks. Even my husband loves the show. I guess you just kinda have to fall into it.
Blockers (2018)
Suprised
I thought this would be a light comedy and just watched it to not think much and forget about the stress of the day. It was actually really good. Probably because I am a mom and could imagine myself in the role and just had to laugh because it was so crazy. But crazy fun. Usually I'm very critical with comedies.. just really loved that one. And honestly bawled my eyes out at the end.. that was definitely the mom in me 😂
Chicago P.D.: I Was Here (2020)
One of the really good ones
I usually just watch this show because my husband likes it and I honestly kinda get bored by it but this episode... was really good. It had me hooked the whole time and got me so emotional, I cried at the end.
