The Eighth Sense (2023)

A wonderful masterpiece

I have watched many k dramas, but this one stands out!

The two main leads did an amazing job! Lim Ji-Sub was able to carry so many emotions without having to be loud or overly dramatic.

Jun Taek-Oh did his first acting job and damn he did well! These two blew me away. They also had a wonderful chemistry and I am in awe of their talent.

What also makes this show so special-the cinematography was incredible and so on point. The camera work, the angles... perfect! It is art! You simply can tell that they put a lot of love in this drama.

And the soundtrack is great too.

I will rewatch this again like now!

Oh My Venus (2015–2016)

One of my fav k dramas

I just love this drama. First of all the cast... it was my first drama with So Ji Sub and Jin Min Ah and the are already so lovely by themselves but their chemistry is 1000%! They are probably my fav kdrama couple. They help each other equally to overcome their problems and there is no doubt of their love for each other. Also the other cast members bring so much joy!

There are storyparts, that I don't like and that are def nit necessary, but I just enjoyed this show so much.

Five Feet Apart (2019)

Hard to finish...

I have watched several movies like this but this one was hard to finish. Cole Sprouse is a talented young man, but he couldn't show his potential or safe this movie. Haley Lu Richardson... I don't know, I couldn't connect with her at all. Giving her an Obsessive-compulsive disorder didn't help! The movie and the connection between them felt rushed and forced. Then the thing with the 5 feet apart... in one moment she isn't allowed to be to close to him and then she wears a glove and suddenly it's okay to hold hands??? And the scene on the ice... she falls of the bridge and laughs and isn't hurt? And three seconds later- without a scream or a crack in the ice - she's drowning???

At least I can give some credits to Kimberly Hebert Gregory as Barb!

BH90210 (2019)

Just love love love the reboot

I grew up watching Beverly Hills 90210 and so I was really excited but also a little anxious, cause I just watched another shows reboot and it was horrible. But BH90210 was amazing. I loved seeing them all back together on the screen. I loved the reality/show mix-up. It was funny but not ridiculous, it played with old habits, it had lots of profund moments. It felt real and I hope there will be a season 2.

Eat, Play, Love (2017 TV Movie)

Not good at all

I wanted to stop the movie after 10 minutes, but I couldn't stop. It was like I was hoping that it could get better. So contrived, that the characters didn't even get a chance to find their own chemistry. Only Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner were cute.

Robin Hood (2018)

Nothing really fit together...

Well there is no good way to talk about this movie... When I went to the cinema I didn't even thought about my fav Robin Hood movie, cause Kevin Costner is legendary. But I hoped for a good action movie. But nothing really fit together... the setting with the landscape and the houses or the costumes... some you could find in the middle age and some in the modern days. The storylines seemed to be cut together wildly and I missed charisma in lots of the characters. Even Taron Egerton, who was sooo good on Eddy the Eagle and Kingsman, didn't convinced me here. There were some good action scenes, but they couldn't save it.

Tomb Raider (2018)

Boring movie, no charisma from the leading lady

So I watched the new Tomb Raider yesterday and well... it was okayish. Alicia Vikander is super trained and everything but in my eyes she wasn't the right fit for this role... I missed the charisma... that special glimpse that made me feel with her... Then there were some scenes that seemed a bit over the top... the missing dad who managed to stay alive all these years on the island with the enemy around. And when she jumped sooooo far, my only thought was: Only Legolas can do that and he is an elf! 😉 But I liked Dominic West!

A Royal Winter (2017 TV Movie)

They could have at least choosen a better name...

... I mean... Maggie Marks...really? Not obvious at all... It has a nice story and some supporting characters make it worthwhile to watch the movie. But it's a bit tooo much of everything... Megan...sorry Maggie is toooo nice and toooo social. She changes the whole Kingdom in one week... come on. ;) And the prince is the misunderstood good guy who drives a motorcycle... one time is def enough... ;)

Make Your Move (2013)

good parts, but there are many other better dance movies

I love dance movies, like I really love them. So of course I watched this one too. The dancing parts were okayish... Derek and BoA are really good dancers, no question about that. And I loved the drum-parts... that was something new. And also the OST was pretty good. But there was no chemistry between Derek and BoA, the couple-dances looked way to choreographed...like dances from "dancing with the stars"... Derek should do that and nothing else. And two times they even copied from Dirty Dancing...and that's a no-go! So that's a dance movie that doesn't make it to my "watch again" list and that's a bad rating for me!

Step Up 2: The Streets (2008)

I have watched a lot of Dance movies, but this one is still my favorite!!! I have to admit that Robert Hofmann is a huge reason why I love this movie so much... he is charming, a brilliant dancer and pretty hot. ;) But that doesn't make it a good movie. Brianna Evigan Plays the female lead role and she is doing an amazing Job too. The whole cast is so cool...Adam G. Sevani... just wow, Mari Koda as Kido...Harry Shum jr. - and the list goes on and on! the dancers are so variable... The Soundtrack is also really good... "low"... I just love to Dance while writing the song title... and "is it you" is wonderful! And the best... the final Dance in the rain... haven't seen something like that! So I just can tell you - watch this movie, you will love it!!! :)
